Sent from my nypon using XDA Labs

i have tested the omni rom for 2 days i very stable
... its bugy but for the basic funtions its ok
now if you want i remove the omni and your rom from the list ???

No leave my Rom in the list I'm just telling that LOS 12.1 is 5.1.1 not 5.1 and it's up to you if you want to leave Omni in there if you say it's stable then ok I haven't tested.

Hmmm I think Oreo would be cooler. And I'm not saying now that its going to work but I'm actually working on Oreo thanks to ChronoMonochrome patches and help.
Its still a long way to a bootable ROM but well the patches will save me few weeks.

No I still have problems with boot.img (custombootimg.mk) and selinux.
Boot.IMG is not working and selinux is giving permission denied when system is booting so once boot.img will work I will disable selinux in kernel and will see then.
It will need some time.

Hey @kuberrocks96 ,
See the screenshot.A guy has managed to fix greenish cam on LP and that too on an AOSP rom.Is it for real?!.It is still 8Mp though but atleast better than greenish cam. That means if we take cam libs from that Aosp rom we can fix greenish cam in any other Lp roms(say vibe ui etc).

Can you give link to it?
Update: it's mohith's post ....

Anyways wait lemme check it
@Mr.Ak
Here is the original post :-
http://www.anythingultimate.in/2015/12/asop-rom-for-coolpad-note-3.html?m=1
He ported from Note 3 to Note 3 Plus.
Also , to fix Camera in this whole Boot.img was used not just Kernel so , Camera works here...
Taking libs from here won't make any difference .
This AOSP is very similar to CoolUI 6

Hmm...as I thought.
Can you ask him the exact fix?
I know the fix is in comparing ramdisk with stock but still.
Edit: that camera fixed line was in this blog post too,so that's a pure copy paste. Is he sure he fixed camera?

Like i said , there is no fix.
In this AOSP , we had used the Whole BOOT.IMG
Also , this was all a coincidence.
What ever that AOSP rom was taken from must have had similar camera hals like ours

Still you don't understand :/
Leave it.
I was telling about note 3
For note 3 plus it is ported by changing kernel
As cn3 is ditto to cn3+ just difference is in modem and screen

Yes,I believe we can boot a cpn3 rom in cpn3+ by just porting boot.img and replacing "frimware" in /etc.

Benchmark sucks, not reliable and trustworthy.
Anyway, last time I checked it was about 60K for both F2FS and EXT4 file systems. But generally F2FS does performs way better which benchmark scores cannot symbolize.

Yeah yeah. It's average score good one How about microphone problem while calling? Still ok google issue is there? (muted mic issue) and do you suggest weekly stable or test build? You know today already released a new weekly stable build?
Edit: One more question on my phone I cannot reach recovery without a custom kernel with custom kernel it performs very well on .291 build 6.0.1 marsh. Is it a problem to go Carbon Rom ? (If you ask, I flashed .291 offical build with flashtool )
I found a bug. Connect to a VPN via l2tp/ipsec psk works without any problems. A disconnect from VPN has the effect that the device restarts. It does not matter which built I am using. I happens every time.

Great work!
It really works well on AOSP Extended Mod
On Latest Linage an EAR it stuck at first booting
And I don't understand why at that kernel Linux version solo old - some port limitation?
Course I remember that in oldest version Linux kernel was newer.
Hope you will continue porting that kernel - amazing work again!
Last thing what left to fix on our device for Max performance it's f2fs in recovery

Optimization and a lot of settings for flexibility.
Which in relakt could give you better performance and battery life.

Just a quick and maybe stupid question - does the BlackScreen kernel work also with normal AOSP on X722? Thanks.

Just FYI, this kernel doesn't work with my X722 with stock AOSP, results in bootloop.
Work this rom for camera with actuator ak7371 ?

yes, i have the same actuator
I see only two bugs.when I charge the phone, performance is going down. It is first. And the second, sometimes performance is going down with normally use with black kernel without root and changing governors. I can't have a root because I use bank app :/
What can I come back from black kernel to stock kernel?

I agree. Making the recovery compatible with f2fs will be a big plus I think. Is it possible?

I posted that recently somewhere at XDA x722 topic

Anyone going to build LineageOS 17.1 ROM for A205xx ?

I am a sucker when it comes to AOSP and would love to have atleast one fully working AOSP ROM for my A205F. I have used LOS 16 GSI [UNOFFICIAL] in the past. Everything worked flawlessly on the ROM except that the fingerprint didn't have a gesture control to bring down the notification panel and there was no MTP support. I'd like to know if anyone is going to be cooking up a STABLE LOS ROM for our device?
Sorry I don't know either,
But Me too I love Lineage OS, and I've been checking their website every week since I got this phone hoping that the A20 is finally supported ^_^ ? but nothing ?
Can I ask you how is the battery on the LOS GSI rom ?

Everything was better with that GSI (Even thou is was unofficial bro) the fingerprint sensor even worked like x2 faster . You can't beat the speed of clean android. We won't be officially supported anytime soon bro , don't count on it. Someone will have to bake a unofficial custom rom for us.

Did you tried the 17 version from here ? I didn't try it, I wonder why there's no thread about Los 17 gsi version here on xda ?

I'm not using it anymore, I've stated the reasons why in the first post.
If you're interested here's the guide that I followed :
https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...iziell-pie-lineageos-16-0-andyvan.928318.html
I know it may say "A40" but its the same one I used on my A20 (SM-A205F)

When I enquired on some problems on the LineageOS Telegram group they said that they didn't have an official GSI out
Yes it's an unofficial gsi made by some guy named Andy, it's not theirs, so they can't provide support.. and as you know problems are meant to happen for a gsi..
Unfortunately A20 don't have enough custom roms available for us to choose from, like Lineage os, paranoid android, Resurrection remix rom, or some pure aosp roms..
