Need help fixing samsung 7 inch tab 3 -- may be in reboot loop. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have tried factory resetting it, but it does not reset – everything is the same after it goes through the reset process.
I then tried reinstalling the operating system – downloaded Odin, downloaded T210RUEU0CNI1, downloaded Samsung drivers (tried the newest one, one that came out when the tablet was made and one that my computer downloaded from Windows Update.
Went through the install process using Odin 3.07. There was a progress bar on Odin, but none on the tablet. I watched a couple of videos on reinstalling the operating system and they showed a progress bar on the tablet, so I’m guessing that while Odin and the driver and the operating system went through the process, the tablet did not.
The tablet was unchanged – all of the apps still there, and the turning off and on problem still there – after many attempts to reinstall the operating system.
What do I do now. I’d like to get this tablet working again. Could this be a hardware problem? Thanks for any guidance.

Problem: I think I deleted my OS.
Here's what happened, i rooted my Samsung Note 10.1 using the clockwork mode with the super SU, then it went fine, I installed apps I got on net, then (after 4 months) i got a glitch wherein I cant copy/paste words, so I decided to reset to factory setting, then done. I thought of other way to root my tablet. I went to setting where it says Encrypt device, I started encrypting then interrupted it, when it rebooted it says that encryption interruped and I need to rest to factory setting then try to encrypt again, and asks to press the reset device, and I did. What happened is it keeps going back to encryption failure message and I keep on pressing reset device till it will only turn on with the SAMSUNG NOTE 10.1 Logo (the startup logo), then I tried installing clockwork mode again, and select wipe factory reset, and wipe cache partition and almsot all wiping option, so obviously i wiped my OS. I tried installing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich following this guide on youtube Guide - How To_ Install Official Android Ice-cream Sandwich (cant post the link). When I followed it all it always failed in the end, and on my tablet it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again", and I cant connect to Kies and PC to do the firmware emergency recovery. Now I'm stuck in there and kind of thinks that I'm lost and totally broke my tablet. But still I can be in download mode.
Any brilliant answers guys. Thanks much in advance.

Is a fast connection needed while installing the OS via Odin since it says Firmware Update Started?
And can anyone send me a links to download a functioning Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich OS, please.

I'm not sure if this will help but Heimdall might fix this problem, whenever I fix my device after stuffing up a flash (happens often so don't worry!) I use both Heimdall and Odin to fix it, I have never been completely stuffed because of those two tools. My best advice is to search the Note 10.1 forums, they normally have the stock android or a new and better ROM ready to be flashed. It's good that you can access download mode which means its only soft-bricked, so just check your forums and that should help you fix it

Long story short, go to the following link to fix your issue. The instructions are missing two steps, you will need to download odin on a PC, it is in the same link as the article except it is under the third party apps folder. You will also need the Samsung Driver for your PC. Let me know if you still have problems.

Help needed - I have an app which bricks my Samsung tablet when I try to install it

Now this is the weirdest thing I've ever encountered! I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet (n5110) which runs TWRP recovery and Resurrection-Remix-5.7.4 (CM13 based). Everything used to work beautifully until the end of July when an app called “EPB DVR Manager” (in the Play store) received an update. My tablet had to do a whole bunch of updates, so I gave it the “go” and Play Store started doing its thing, updating one app after the other.
At some point the tablet froze. Dead. Even the clock in the status bar stopped. I had to reset the device by pressing and holding power until it rebooted. The next thing was ... boot loop. It seemed to finish the boot animation and at the point when the main screen is supposed to show up it rebooted!
Tried to wipe dalvik & cache. No go, still boot loop. Had to format data to get the device back to life. From there it took me quite some hours of repeated tries of restoring 100+ apps and crashing the device all over until I figured out that it was this specific app - the “EPB DVR Manager”. After figuring out that this app causes the problem, I did two more attempts to confirm what is going on:
First, I did a wipe of dalvik, cache & data, reboot, android setup wizard (setup Google account). Then, as the first action at all, I tried to install the “EPB DVR Manager”. Boom - device messed up again.
Second, I reverted back to stock firmware (kitkat) and installed the “EPB DVR Manager” - no problem at all. So it has something to do with the Resurrection-Remix ROM, but here's the thing:
I have 3 different devices (a Moto G 3rd Gen, a LG GPAD 7.0 and that Samsung Note 8.0) and all three of them run Resurrection-Remix 5.7.4 and the Samsung is the only device which all in a sudden has these catastrophic problems with the latest version of this app (earlier versions installed/updated fine).
Now I understand that my devices run different kernels with different hardware drivers despite all of them running RR-5.7.4.
I would really like to get a clue about what the heck is going on here. Now before y'all are telling me that RR-5.7.4 is dead because it is based on CM13 - I know that. Still, RR-5.7.4 is a way better daily driver than the newer Nougat builds. So how should I try to get “live logs” because the problem always ends in a crashed installation and Android needs a full wipe to recover. I would like to find out what is going on to be able to let the app developer know about the problem (if the app's apk is at least partially to blame).
Even if it turns out that it is RR's fault (and therefore the bug will not be fixed because RR-5.7.4 is dead) I would still want to learn how such a simple transaction like installing an app can cause such a dramatic (and 100% reproducible) crash of Android's data partition.
Thanks for any suggestions on how to catch logging information for this kind of mystery.
Markus.

How to force replacement of the system.img file?

With Heimdall I could successfully upload all 10 extracted files from stock ROM onto the Samsung Galaxy Tab3 device.
But still after reboot, nothing seem te be changed though.
After successfull download of most files, Heimdall disconnect the connected Samsung Galaxy Tab3 device and a few seconds later the Tab3 device reboot.
I noticed that after successfully downloading the system.img file (1,5GB) and Heimdall has disconnected the connected device, there's an immediate reboot of the Tab3.
My guess is that with the immediate reboot, the downloaded system.img file does not replace the current one, but will be deleted.
That may explain why there's no change after the reboot and that keep my tablet soft bricked.
Are there any suggestions as to how to stop this behaviour and/or how to force overwriting the current system.img file with the newly downloaded one?
I cannot download and install TWRP or CWM.
Either the King0root software or the F-secure anti virus software or combination of both seem to actively reject changes.
My Samsung Galaxy Tab3 device is rooted by King0root and that worked flawlessly, that is until F-secure anti virus was installed on it.
Then for a week or 2, the Tab3 has been unused.
When I fired up the Tab3 again, just a few minutes after logon into Android, an F-secure window shows up telling me 'the program has stopped' and Android seem to crash and reboot.
Ever since I remain unable to make any changes in system settings or disabling/removing apps, because in between Android crashes and reboot before any changes can be completed.
So I first tried wiping user partition and cache partition in recovery, but no luck there.
Odin in Windows failed due to driver issues.
JOdin doesn't do the trick either, although it tell me that the upload was successfull and the device reset (in green).
But I didn't see the same status bar on the Tab3 when loading, so I was pretty sure something still went wrong.
Perhaps problems with preparing/installing system.img file may cause JOdin3 to fail too.

G695U No longer working after the April 2020 Patch

Last week on Thursday, I allowed Verizon to install their Software Update 21 (April 2020.) It made it as far as the going through the optimizing apps and then was stuck in a boot loop. The phone would be usable for about a minute, then would freeze, and then reboot. If I clicked on the System Update option in settings, it would say that a system update was in progress. I chatted with Verizon, and they ended up telling me that the only way to stop the update was to do a factory reset, which I am doing everything I can not to do that as I don't want to lose my data.
I changed it into maximum power mode and it did stop the update for that time being and I was able to use the phone, texting, etc. This allowed me to at least connect the phone to my computer to backup all of the directories. After many reboots, on Friday it finally stopped doing the update and gave me an error which I think was 410. It thought it was updated, though did show as failed. When checking for updates, it said it was the current version. Twice I was able to get the phone to stop by freezing when going to the app and stopping some programs (sadly, I was not able to remember the exact combination that worked) which allowed me to use the phone like normal. All this while, I was uninstalling a large amount of the apps that I had installed hoping that would minimize whatever may have been causing the problem.
Went to each of the google and samsung apps, stopped, disable, and reverted them all back to factory defaults. Guess that was a bad idea, from then on I received an error as soon as the phone started which caused it to go directly into recovery mode. I chatted with samsung and they thought it might be a hardware issue. I still think it is related to their software update, so not a hardware issue.
By using Odin, I loaded the firmware from March 2020, and when it rebooted, it did go as far as optimizing the apps, though anytime it booted up, it would never get past the white verizon loading screen. It took me hours before I discovered that Odin was failing to load the firmware on the phone as the Windows 10 laptop only had USB 3.0 ports which don't always work with Odin, and ended up being successful using my old Windows XP laptop as the USB 2.0 ports worked fine. After a bit hanging on the verizon loading screen, it would reboot and never went past. I have been able to load the March and April 2020, though none of them will ever get past that white verizon loading screen. I did see something say that in loading TWRP, I could possibly do a full backup of the phone which is what I would like to do.
One time I only loaded the AB file for a different version than I had loaded, and it was the first time it went beyond the white screen, only to tell me that the verification failed and it would need for me to do a factory reset. I was able to reboot the phone without actually doing the reset.
I have read many posts here and the forums on androidcentral, and with so many things, I really needed to post to get guidance from people here that can point me in the right direction for any other things that I can try. As you have read, doing everything that I can to get the phone working by keeping my data. Any help would really be appreciated.
