How can I get the most out of Kenzo camera? - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

Hey guys, greetings from Africa!
I have been using my Kenzo as a daily driver for more than a year now, and I would like to know from you the best configuration of ROM & Kernel to get better photos & videos from this camera.
I have tried many ROMs, but eventually I return to MiUI 8 Global Stable in order to get acceptable results from this Samsung sensor!
Please guys, if you have any suggestions for better camera performance I will be glad to hear!

Use the Google camera hdr+ port on nougat, it's much better than miui camera imo

Flashing custom rom will change camera quality

i have buy redmi note 3 after my samsung note 3 neo, but 16mp camera of rn3 is not good as samsung 8mp camera, sometime 8mp samsung photos are way better than rn3 16 mp, rn3 photos are very grainy when zoom in but samsung photos are very sharp, so i have read some post on miui forum and internet, and find in some user say that this probelm is due to image processing algorithm of miui, so flashing any custom rom will change my camera quality or not.
OK.

i am telling you my problem and asking for solution..
If you using MIUI stock camera, try another camera app like Google stock one.
MIUI Stock is over-saturated, over-sharpened.
I'm using customized setting for MIUI stock. Lowering everything, contrast, saturation, sharpness.
But camera movie quality on stock MiUi is great! Just Recorder a trial of my Band yesterday and result was best over all AOSP or CM13 tries I did before!!

is there any camera app for latest miui which has backlight mode?

Hi fellow friends and seniors
I have been using miui again for a while now, where I used to use cm /LOS based Roms on my kenzo
It's been good experience for now in many aspects after turning back to miui after being on LOS based roms except for one thing :
I used to take selfies using Snapdragon camera with backlight mode , cuz u know our kenzo has terrible front camera resulting in ugly selfies ... It makes me depressed a little bit
My question is : is there any camera app which has similar / close to similar feature as Snapdragon camera's backlight which works on miui roms?
Thanks for reading, and thanks for answering
Sorry for my terrible language.

Which camera app is best for Mi5 in custom ROM?

Hi, i want to know which camera app is best option for MI5 in Resurrection Remix custom ROM. I am using xiaomi.eu ROM now and you know Mi5's default camera is quite good. I want to shift in Resurrection Remix ROM.
I heard from some people that custom ROM's cameras aren't good as like as MIUI/xioami.eu's default camera. Picture quality decreased/poor low light optimization/video bugs etc are main problem. But i want to taste the custom ROM.
So please suggest me what will be best for me(for RR ROM). I like to take photos/videos/selfies. So its a matter for me. Suggest me a good camera app which is similar to MIUI camera or somewhat close to it.
Your help will be appreciated. Thanks.
Install snapdragon pro camera and one plus camera v2
Both are good. In snap pro ui is not so good but provides beautification similar to miui camera in selfies. Also camera performs really good if you can forgive ui. But video is not so good in snap pro cam.
One plus camera is good for ui and video/photo. But manual controls are shaky since it shows real time changes. But its got bad slow mo.

Best Rom for Kate, Miui is to far behind

Hi all,
I'am quite happy with my Redmi Note 3 Pro SE (Kate).
And Miui is also quite good. Love the battery life.
However,
I run the Global Beta rom weekly, and the version is 7.6.8.
Dating back from June 2017. And it doesn't look like there will be an update any time soon.
So.... I'am looking for an other rom.
But what one to choose?
LineageOS 14.1?
Nitrogen OS?
ResurrectionRemix 5.8.x?
CarbonRom?
ViperOS?
Or... Wait and stay on Miui?
What is important to me.
Stable
Battery friendly
Good Bluetooth (have android wear watch (Huawei Watch) and bt headphones (MDR-1000X))
Good GPS (Sygic)
Good and stable Camera
Good Music
SD card (128GB Samsung Evo+) should work perfectly
4G (LTE) should work stable and fast
Voice recording (in-call)
And ofcourse calls should be good and stable
I don't do gaming, so no interests there.
Please,
Advice me in a Rom to take, and explain why that rom instead of an other rom.
Thanks in advance.
Use Nexus Experience ROM with Radon kernel with performance settings.
For better music use shox audio mod for our device.
For good camera use the HDR and 60fps canera which is recently ported.
Enjoy!
NX ROM with Radon kernel is great (still using Marshmallow though, because of no Xposed on Nougat).

How to back in offical eui ?

My device is x820
I'm on lineages 8.1 and i want to back in offical eui , how and which better version
Please help me
use twrp adb sideload the stock (worked for me )
also reflashing from scratch using flashone will work
but really except camera and video player (if you have mx player pro then no need) oreo roms are better
especially Aosip with blackscreen kernel
@Aimen1 I personally think that photos taken with GCam with HDR enabled look much better than the ones the stock camera takes.

Im using arnova gcam without any issue for the past 15 days
but it is not as stable as the stock app so if someone uses the phone mainly for cam or just love to take pics all the time
dagrading to eui is better
