Light when Charging - Honor 9 Questions & Answers

Hi, does anybody knows how to turn off the little light of the top side on the phone when it,s charging?
Became se I let my phone charging during the night and I turn it off. But there is this little light.
Thanks

I don't think it's possible to turn off the charging light indicator on the Honor 9

Option is not available in EMUI 5. Only available in custom roms.

Not possible with EMUI

u can't turn it off. that's actually one feature that we're trying to highlight to honor/ Huawei and EMUI dev...
they should make the LED notification light customisable. i usually disable it for charging. and i would like to be able to change the colours based on the type of notification.

But I think it can be disabled with root access.

Thank you , this post show it's possible :
All is not lost!
I was using the LED me know BETA, and if you assign different colours, different combinations of media lights light up. I set it to the unknown option, then realized that that causes the focus LED to flash at the given frequency!
So if someone can write a simple app to emulate this we are done!
PS its very very bright! and orange

But is someone have the name of the app which do that ?

If you haven't already, follow this guide forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/guide-redmi-note-3-sd-mtk-multi-tasking-t3358433 ... hopefully it will help
without this i found the phone pretty unusable, and i agree about xiaomi version miui sucking, they must have blind monkeys for testing it

Enable the app in autostart. Open app fully, tap recent apps button, drag icon down until you see a padlock and release. Done! MIUI just takes some learning and doesn't suck.

Disable charging LED?

Is there any possibility to disable the notification LED while charging?
I'm rooted and already tried LightManager, no success. Maybe a build.prop line might help?
Hoping xposed will be available for N soon...
You would have to root your device to be able to do that.
I am rooted, as I stated in my previous post. Do you have any pointers on how to disable the LED?

Stock EMUI don't have the option. Only custom ROMs.

How is the camera launch speed?

Can someone with the device answer this question?
My LG V20 sometimes takes ages to launch the camera (sufficient to loose a "decisive moment").

Why wrong forum?
Isnt this the Huawei Mate 10 forum?
Id like to know if the Huawei Mate 10's camera lauch is faster enough.
Ok, so using the camera icon on my Mate 10 - click icon, camera opens, click photo, appear in preview all in 1 second. Couldn't be quicker in my opinion. Hope that helps.
The same on a Mate 9 Pro. With lesser hardware.

Advanced reboot

Running Android Pie and interested in an Advanced reboot option? Yes this works if you press the icon of the app and not actually pressing the power button.
REQUIRES ROOT
If you have macrodroid installed you can set this to open simply by shaking your device or any other trigger, action or constraint.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=simple.reboot.com
I have a screenshot of the macro I created so when I shake my phone only when I'm not in a call, the screen is on and the device is unlocked.

I couldn't tell you. I don't use adaptive brightness. Most of the time it's at max brightness unless I'm inside.

If it's not broken don't update. So far I have zero issues with 9.0. I was on 5.1.5 until Android Pie was released simply because there was nothing wrong with 5.1.5 on my device
Available in 9.0.2
