Facebook Chatheads not working despite all attempts - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I have a newly-bought Redmi Note 4 (Nikel) and, out of the box, Facebook Messenger chatheads aren't showing up on MIUI 8.
I've done the 'App Permissions', 'Battery Saver', 'Security Permissions', and almost every solution I've seen.
I decided to unlock the bootloader, install TWRP (cofface) and install a custom ROM (Project X AOSP Resurrection Remx 20170820) in hopes that it will fix the problem.
Unfortunately, it didn't.
What other fixes should I do? I've extensively looked up fixes but none seem to work for me.
Help!

Yes, I've also tried that solution but the chatheads still won't show up.

Crap. I legitimately don't know what I'm doing wrong. I was expecting changing ROMs would fix it but I was wrong.

Missing apps after bootloader unlock

Hi all,
I've unlocked the bootloader on my HTC1, but found some apps missing such as Calculator, Flash light.
I see the same issue with HTC One X as well, wondering if it's the same case here. If so, anyway around it?
Thanks!
There is no way round it as of yet.

Does that really work on our AT&T models? I just want to be completely sure.

Android Revolution HD 10.0 missing apps
Well, I have flashed this ROM (ARHD 10.0) coming from the ARHD 9.5, in the 9.5 I had some of the stock apps like Flashlight, Calculator, Ringtone-trimmer, PDF Viewer, Teeter and Sound Recorder, but now in ARHD 10.0, I have lost the apps... What can I do to get them back?...Should I flash the ROM again?. Thanks!
Revolution ROM restores lost apps
I managed to get the apps to reappear after flashing revolution:

[APP] SamsungMultipleWidgets KitKat

Because the Original Thread is closed. I made a new one.
@MohammadAG has been so kind to post his source code for the Samsung Multiple Widgets in secure lockscreen.
However, since android 4.4 kitkat it was useless
Well I downloaded his source code and while i thought i would be able to "fix" the source code, that wasn't possible.
I COMPLETELY REWROTE THE CODE!!
I am keeping it as his project though.
So far everything is working wonderously. If you have any issues, let me know.
Tested working on Samsung Galaxy S4 T-Mobile running TouchWiz 4.4.2 KitKat.

[Q] Email App with Conversation/Threaded View

I upgraded my S3 to Kikat 4.4 but I miss the stocked email version from Android 4.3 which has conversation view. This is very useful to me having 300+ emails a day. I have tried other email apps from PlayStore but havent seen a good one. Is there a way that I can port stocked email from Android 4.3 to 4.4. Please help.
Anyone, please.

The possibility to install the APK of the Email app would be low. There might be libs and other stuff attached to it.

You could although just try getting the apk from a ROM and move it to /system with the right permissions. You may luck out!

I already tried that but got some errors. Maybe the file came from Samsung Stock base ROM and I am installing it to Cyanogen.

I came from that ROM (S5) and love it's email implementation but I find it too slow. I installed Temasek' V72 coming from that ROM. Kitkat is snappier but default email sucks. Are you on S5ish? What did you do to make it work fast?

If you haven't already, follow this guide forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/guide-redmi-note-3-sd-mtk-multi-tasking-t3358433 ... hopefully it will help
without this i found the phone pretty unusable, and i agree about xiaomi version miui sucking, they must have blind monkeys for testing it

Enable the app in autostart. Open app fully, tap recent apps button, drag icon down until you see a padlock and release. Done! MIUI just takes some learning and doesn't suck.

Google Play Games lag.

Is it so that Google Play Games app lags in every Nougat ROM? I mean it is barely scrollable. I'm currently on ViperOS.
