okay so i'm just wondering if there's a way to change the date text displayed on the lock-screen.
For example.. on my lock-screen it display "WED, 6 SEPTEMBER" under the clock.. but i want to change the text to display a completely different word like: "HUMPDAY, 6 SEP". i don' care if changing this text will effect the date name anywhere else on the phone.. i just want to be able to completely change the name of each day.
I'm using a S8 + rooted with renovate ice rom 4.0

Just wondering if it's possible to change the colour of the date and the am/pm text on the stock lock screen? I've changed the colour of the time through Ninjamorph and editing the .png's in framework-res, but can't seem to find the icons for the date and am/pm.
I like the stock lock screen and don't want to use a replacement.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section..but I done some searching both here and on the web and I've seen it done on other phones but I must be missing something so if someone could point me in the right direction as I'm been trying to change the lock screen clock font,I can change the writing font but not the clock..help..ty
If you're on stock/stock based ROM, especially KI3/KI4, you can use jkay mod theme and jkay deluxe settings.

You can disable/enable clock, center the clock, have date displayed along with clock, or use aosp clock on lock screen.
Aosp clock has a smaller and neater font.
I have a HD7 and the lockscreen text is ALWAYS white even if you change the theme to dark. I wouldn't really care normally, but the text is hard/impossible to read depending on the background for a bright lockscreen background. I would just write an app to change it but there's nothing in the API to do anything with the lockscreen. So just curious if there is some other way to change this before taking other drastic measures.
as i know,there is no way to change it.maybe u can search the theme regs to find out if thereis a color code to control the text color.

I using CM10 on my Samsung Galaxy S (I9000), but i while like to add custom icons to the slider lock, what i mean i it gives you the option to add and remove icons to the circle, but only the default icons for an app, what i would like to do is add white icons same as the camera, unlock and google icons on the circle already, if possible, even use the same tone of white. Is that possible? i bet it is, but i dont know how to make it happen.

This current rom squeezes each line and then it disappears. I guess i just want the standard one that just slides each text line down after it is displayed for however long it is displays for.
