Have a look at the first post Section 3 on that post should help you
mostly the part related to
adb reboot "dm-verity enforcing"
Flash stock recovery and only boot TWRP don't flash it

Thanks for the reply. Almost straight after posting I found a download for nougat 7.1.1 and flashed that, then updated it to the latest via OTA. I still get the verity warning occasionally and the phone seems laggier than before plus it reboots itself occasionally but at least it still works! No root but I may have another go at a later date.

Please please please help!!! Lg G3 model sv985 running lollipop 5.1.1
So one day I wanted to connect my ps3 controller to my ps4. I found out how to do it but it requested my phone to be rooted. So after a couple of days trying to root my phone I finally found a solutions. I used the kind root method. After getting root access you are required to put your phone into recover mode. The problem I am having is when I go into recovery mode all I get is an error message stating "secure boot loading error 1003" then proceeds to go to a black screen with the notifications lights blinking red and blue. Then I have to take my battery out and reboot my phone that way. It starts up normal but twrp does the same process as do other rebooting apps. Today I got the update to install marshmallow 6.0 and it also needs to go into recovery mode. When I try to reboot the same black screen appears. I finally came to agreements with myself to just get rid of root and go back to kitkat then upload 6.0. My problem here is the program you need to download to switch back requires a password and user name. Which according to the steps, you just download a file then switch it to the program and shouldn't need a password or username anymore. Every time it fails. Sorry kinda spaced what it's called. (it's the program needed to downgrade sorry I forgot the name) I've been at this for about a month and now my phone won't even get notifications. The root totally messed it up. I wouldn't mind if I could get super su to work. Basically my question is, how can I get around the secure boot error 1003 to get into recovery mode. Even if I just take my root loses and uprgrade to 6.0. All I need is to reboot, it shouldn't be so hard. All the YouTube videos I have found are all in Spanish that get good reviews but I can't understand most of the conversations. Thank you to the XDA for everything you guys do. Your awesome!

HTC One M9 Post-Root Bootloop

DISCLAIMER: I'm completely new to Rooting devices.
My phone is an HTC One M9 running Marshmallow 6.0.1 on Telus.
I attempted to root my device recently to try and solve an unrelated issue that factory reset could not, which is no longer important.
I followed this guide and got all the way up to "Power off your device. Now, to boot into recovery mode.", which I can get into TWRP no problem. However, I cannot push "SuperSU" as it comes up as "device not found"(ADB drivers not installed? Though I got this far somehow). I thought this wasn't a big problem and I could install it later.
Now I'm stuck in infinite boot. The HTC logo shows up, and after a bit it changes and does the animation into the logo for the HTC One. Then it's stuck like this(bootloop?), the longest I've tried being 40 minutes. I can do a fake battery removal and then access the "download" bootloader, regular bootloader, and the recovery (TWRP) no problem still.
If I manage to get SuperSU installed will this solve my problem? Or are they separate issues? Can I flash another image to at least go back to "stock"?
I no longer have any idea what to do. Any and all help or suggestions are appreciated and I'll provide whatever information I can manage.
Further information: I have wiped the appropriate caches(dalvik included) as well as factory reset through TWRP in different instances. I've even downloaded the stock recovery image and wiped again. I simply fail to see what the issue is.
Edit: Managed to get SuperSU installed. I don't know what was different this time. Exactly how many times is it supposed to reboot on its own until it's done? Because it's been restarting for over 20 minutes now.

One Plus 5 Bootloop [Help]

So I've been using magisk recently and today I received a notification prompting me to wanting to update to the latest version of Android OS for my One Plus 5, so I decided that the best course of action was to backup all of my important data and the delete the magisk software using their uninstall.zip file. Afterwards since I knew the device would be unrooted I placed the phone into fastboot and used ADB to re lock my bootloader which was in turn successful up until the point where I rebooted the phone and it had a text that read along the lines of "Your device is not trusted therefore it will not boot" so in response I decided to simply unlock the bootloader once again and in doing so my phone rebooted once again but it has gotten stuck in a bootloop. Any help would be appreciated and a thanks is in advance.
SOLVED.

H850 European - Rooting/ Getting back to stock ROM

Hi all, attempted to root my phone today following this guide.
I got right up to step 9 but upon trying to reboot and launch from TWRP I began to have trouble. I've been able to access TWRP once, but after confirming install of SuperSU (step 11 here, my phone booted to the LG splash and I got the boot loop saying 'Your phone is unsecure, bootloader is unlocked' or words to that effect. Orange ! triangle.
I can launch to fastboot, or download mode. Turning on to a factory reset sends me back to a boot loop after confirming I would like to reset (leading me to believe I've not got a stock ROM in there at all).
Now when I try to flash any version of TWRP from command prompt in my ADB folder, I'm told my phone is corrupt and it won't allow me to flash.
Alternatively, trying to flash a stock ROM doesn't work either. LGUP does not recognise my model, it only shows COM Ports: [COM4, H85020s]. I've also tried using UPPERCUT but I get the following error: "Error reading from file: C:\Users\...\Roaming\Temp\F9FB5BD\TempFolder\UPPERCUT.exe. Verify the file exists and that you can access it." I've attempted running UPPERCUT from various locations, extracted.
I'm on Windows 10 and I've been trying desperately for the last 12 hours crawling through this site/ other articles for some kind of solution to give my phone SOME kind of functionality. Ultimate goal was LineageOS but now I'd be more than happy getting back to stock. I'd really appreciate any help, hope I've given enough information.

Installing Custom ROM Lots of issues and nothing really works anymore.

Hello XDA Forum,
so in order to get rid of all the garbage Samsung pre-installed stuff I wanted to install a custom ROM like LineageOS. To do this (since I'm a complete layman) I used this guide for the most part: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...fn-ds-lineageos-19-too.4431737/#post-86951249
First Issue arrived at point 12, when despite "swiping to allow writing" TWRP would not allow me to copy filed onto the phone. So I read somewhere else to reinstall TWRP, which I then did after a lot of back and forth. Sadly when leaving TWRP it seems almost impossible to get back into TWRP, the phone just loops around a recovery screen telling me that bootloader is unlocked. It's also no longer being recognized by ADB and Fastboot, or Odin for that matter. And even reinstalling the USB Driver did not help.
So I read somewhere to reblock the bootloading and then enabling it again. So I did, and now I cannot unblock it anymore either. It just sits in the "Downloading Mode" and when I hold Volume Down and Power it goes into the Recovery Screen and then IMMEDIATELY back into Downloading. I can't even turn it off because it's basically stuck in Downloading.
If I could make it work again and findable by ADB I might be able to just use a different Version of TWRP (not the one advertised in the thread linked above) and maybe try again. But then I also don't know why it was so hard to get into TWRP to begin with. Or is there now no escape from this loop and the phone is essentially bricked?

so you can not flash stock?
