Hi I have a MIUI 9 custom 4.4.2 kitkat rom and for some reason my /sdcard partition isn't showing but my /data/media partition shows my sdcard before my rom flash, is their a way to fix it?
hmm.. maybe you can find for sdcard fix.zip for your device. What is your device name?
My phone is a huawei y360

hi,
currently i have CWM 6.0.1.2 installed on SD, when doing SD recovery, the rom goes always to SDCard, not to emmc, same about gapps.
i am trying to flash CM10.1 ROM from kuzma30 to emmc but it always goes to SD.
i am going in circles, read lots of threads and cannot cover a basic question: what is the deciding factor if rom is installed into sdcard or into emmc? is it rom dependent and I need to get an emmc enabled ROM or can I flash any ROM to emmc?
can I flash emmc with CWM sd recovery? do I need certain version or any (latest) version will do?
Little explanation would help a lot.
The location where the ROM and gapps get installed is specified in the updater-script in folder META-INF\com\google\android\ of the respective zip archives -- assuming that you have the correct (i.e., for SD) version of CWM recovery (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35669871&postcount=1 for more details (the installation process is the same, just swap in your choice of 10.1 ROM and gapps)).
i've seen the post and did exactly the procedure, however, the rom got installed into sd card.
now according to you I need to have a emmc enabled ROM, I tried this one:
cm-10.1-20130110-acclaim-HD-SDC.zip
which is SDCard ROM, I suppose.
so it cannot be flashed to emmc, right?
do I need to look for a rom which has no "SDC" in the name?

Yes, you need the ROM and Gapps zip files identified on this Succulent blogpost http://iamafanof.wordpress.com/2012/12/20/cm10-1-jellybean-android-4-2-1-for-nook-tablet-1221/
Hi!
I tried to install Android on Samsung Wave GT-S8500. I flashed FOTA and bootloader and got into recovery but since it can't mount /system (same goes for /data and /cache) I can't install any ROM or make any backup.
Is there any way to get those partitions to mount as they should?
wrong kernel. Search Kernel NAND and copy it on SD. You have Kernel SD and u need ro format SD for install any rom
hello.
Im trying to install custom rom on lenovo s860.
Everywhere everything says that put .zip on the sd card. I can flash stock rom with sp tool but the stock is chinese hell with all the crap UI and lenovo apps that cannot be unstalled.
Trying to install whole custom ROM.
(i've flashed many roms before with success)
I have twrp installed and everything. BUT this phone does not have sd card slot.
When I put the .zip into build in storage the twrp cannot find it anywhere.
Also I dont know if this is bug but twrp says "internal storage (0MB)"
Also I cannot backup stock rom, it says mount failed and thats it
edit #2, I have rooted stock rom, if I move .zip file to root or to any folder or anywhere. it just disapears after I reboot my phone, so even If I move the file into root and the reboot to twrp the .zip is gone
edit #3 I cannot access adb, I cant push files,
twrp says unable to moust /system, /sdcard /internal storage and all of that stuff.
I have googeled the whole fooking google and cannot find anything that helps

hely there zeuskrap if there is problem in rom then change it to newer version...or any other rom like lineage or pixel experience rom...
the problem of internal storage 0 was also faced byt me but i was on twrp not redwolf
hope the method works for you too......but u have to find the options yoursef
in the redwolf recover go to mount and try to repair the internal storage then change the file extension from ext4 to extfat and then again change to ext4.....them reboot to recovery....u will have problem gone
Note changing file extension from ext4 to extfat will delete internal storage so atfirst backup to sd card or pc first then try the process:good:

There's a bit of a bug regarding this. MIUI encrypts your internal storage so that it cannot be accessed through other means (e.g. the way you are trying to do)
Why do you want to mount internal storage in twrp? There might be a workaround to your problem?
3.2.1
Because now i can't add any magisk module or xposed or flashing any zip file ?
Have you got now Oreo ROM?
You have old TWRP....
You must have Oreo TWRP!
Try this [emoji3504] https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-5/help/twrp-oreo-xiaomi-eu-rom-t3871165
Or this [emoji3504] https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-5/development/recovery-twrp-t3877630
