Installation
Requires Unlocked Bootloader & a custom recovery
Place ROM & Gapps in your virtual SD
Reboot in Bootloader Mode
Go to "Recovery" (Vol +/Vol -) and confirm (power)
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Dalvik cache
Install the ROM zip

What are the Kernel settings you are using?
I don't have this issue. I'm using Firekernel.. Try Firekernel it has better battery life too.

Can you revert to stock and then flash this ROM. Or try Firekernel
This ROM is my daily driver I didn't face this issue.

Ok. Remain on Stock Kernel. Try this solution. Turn off Pocket detection in Settings-> Configurations -> Buttons. Look at the Screen shot. This will solve your issue.

Resurrection Remix is based on CM13, enhanced with RR proprietary features, built-in "essential" apps, and compiled using optimised UBER Toolchains. The result being a ROM which is feature rich, with smooth performance allowing the user advanced customisation while retaining performance and minimising power consumption....
Known issues:
1. We have a camera, but don't expect stock quality, a little bit laggy and buggy image
2. Screen Is flashing every several moments (I think it is a kernel issue)
3. NFC is NOT working sometimes
4. Sony logo is taking longer to appear without "Xperia" word in the buttom, also I think Kernel issue
Note: if you have a black screen during use and no response from the device u can try:
1. press power button two times
2. or keep pressing vol up and power key for 10-15 seconds then hold the power button to boot again
I actually think that all of these issues are caused by kernel and I need help from experts
Please if you can help me fixing that, I'll be grateful for that, because I am a beginner in porting roms and building them

6653 and 6603 is almost same.. 6653 isn't boot, 6603 is same

I installed the rom here and I can confirm the bugs:
- No Sony logo when booting
- Screen glitches: flashes and turns black
- Camera is buggy
I would use it if the screen doesn't turns black all the time.

Oh sorry for that, the development is paused until i get holiday because we will get holiday from school after one or two monthes
I want to fix the screen glitches but it is a kernel related issue and I'll try to fix it but if anyone can help please help
Actually dual sim is very bad in that point (custom roms) so i am trying to develop it

Actually our version of DU is using a CM based kernel called Intoxicated. Sultans kernel with our tree will work fine and actually, I was able to do it a while back. Rohit told me not to release it though because he had beat me to it lol (granted a different kernel)

My off screen gestures work. Wheras rajgopi is still testing it. My Rom carries uber TC so with that much better battery backup and smoothness filled rom.

You should add unofficial tag within the build in Settings>About and Remove RR Updater. Rest, Build working good till now

I dirty flashed over official RR 08-22 and booted without problems.
any major difference ? just need to know. dont want to flash duplicates
Review After 5 hours of usage:
Pros:
1. Uber TC makes the Build smooth like butter
2.Little bit better battery life, as compared to official RR
3.Custom Kernels flashable ie Boeffla or any other
4.RR(Feature packed ROM)
Cons:
1. Updater is there which has no use for the Unofficial Builds
2. Force Closes are there. For example, using in built system app remover crashes when we try to uninstall any system app
3.Some WiFi problems in the build which I did not experience on SkyDragon/Stock OOS at 5GHZ (A2003)
been using it since yesteday and so far everything looks smooth. was using sreesha's official RR and when he closed shop, changed to official CM. Somehow, it was always buggy. So now moved to this unofficial RR.

You need to check Misc>System app remover. It crashes while using uninstall option. Do check it. Bug on both official and unofficial RR.
My 2G is searching for network in an endless loop and 4G is not working. So im left with only 3G.. and ive tried this using different sim cards and its the problem of the ROM. The 2nd Aug build also had the issue with no 4G but 2g and 3g were fine. Any help??
PS: Ive included a zip file containing a screenrecord on how the endless loop is present for me.

then you and i define variant very differently.
XT1526 is one variant of the Moto E LTE 2015, the other variants have different model numbers, whereas the XT1521 may have volte, from what I've seen my variant (XT1526) doesn't seem to have it, hope this clears things up a bit.

I don't use it actually but some members are saying that the storage value shows correctly but when adoptable storage is enabled, apps moving from phone storage to SD card and vice versa is not working.
You can try, if works report back

Yes you can use this rom for daily use, I've found nothing wrong with it besides Bluetooth not staying connected, but that's a CM issue so we have to wait on them to fix it

1. Moving apps seems to be working.
2. I don't use WhatsApp ?
3. No I haven't seen the other ones
Also the clock app doesn't work. Crashes immediately after launching.
And the shaking gesture that launches the camera is glitched. When the phone is locked and you launch the camera this way, there's no way of turning it off.
Only thing that helps there is restart.

I disabled the root access btw... Maybe you can flash SuperSu!

in all honestly I liked Lineage OS more but rotation is kind of a big deal.

no new bugs, bl audio still doesn't work, WiFi direct still doesn't work.
Auto rotation works though, and substratum is pretty coool

Does it has the same bug as the LOS 14.1 build in argentinian models that gets a bluescreen every time it runs out of signal? I'd like to use this room but this is my daily driver and can't afford to brick it yet

That bluescreen (BSOD) doesn't come because of ROM.

Android Pay requires safetynet check to be passed. It can be bypassed by universal safetynet fix. In my case, device starts to crash sometimes (and I wasn't able to wake up device) after installing fix, but it maybe will work on your device w/o problems

I am stuck at booting into this rom. Unlocked bootloader, flashed TWRP through the app, rebooted into twtp, wiped system, data, cache, ART cache, then flashed the ROM, then rebooted into system. The LG logo appears, the RR ROM logo appears and the animation takes forever. I can't get to Android. Any ideas?

see if you can connect through adb and take a logcat.

I don't think I could connect through adb. Besides, are you sure that adb will work without enabling it in developer options?
