Sim2 work only in 2G?
It isn't bug, it's huawei's feature. LTE on sim2 work only stock

yes you are right.
but i'm wondering if there's a way of changing the sim that is currently 4G, like in stock android .
right now if i want to change the sim that i use as 4g I should physically change their places.
small disadvantage compared to all positive advantages of this Rom.

Now is ok

Hi!
Would it be possible to make rom without it forcing you to install magisk. Some still prefer to use SuperSU and it's simple to flash magisk after rom installation too.

It is possible for ROM maintainer to build unrooted build..
If you don't want to flash magisk automatically with ROM you can delete magisk folder from the ROM zip and flash ROM...

I don't quite understand meaning of the first phrase.
Also thanks for the tip, I realized this too after awhile, but still going to leave the suggestion to remove magisk from rom itself(or mentioning about it in the first post would be helpful @ksrt12).
Everything else in new version feels even nicer than on previous versions.

I do not see the advantages of supersu before magick.
I think that most people on custom use root, and doesn't matter magisk or supersu
and since there are magisk in the RR sources, why not build it
if you don't like magisk you can remove it

I meant that you could make it without root and let people choose themselves how they want to root it, but yeah I realized I can just remove it from zip. And it was just a suggestion.
But suggestion about mentioning in thread that it installs magisk would be good so no one will accidentally install SuperSu. So it won't cause any problems to anyone, since I think you shouldn't have both installed(not sure will it cause problems, but just in case).

crdroid 7.1.2 is my daily driver. amazing rom.
I've installed many 8.1 roms but most builds after 15th january don't work, they always show no sim card installed. In the latest crdroid rom, the phone says only emergency calls. Bad luck?
@coldhans hey I really hope I don't come off as demanding or rude by asking this but I'm curious. Will this room ever pass safety net out of the box? This room is really good. Thanks for maintaining it for us!
Did the new build pass safety net?

No worries! Don't confuse my lack of emojis for irritation in these threads, I just try to keep my answers short and to the point.
crDroid comes with inbuilt root, which as far as I know can't pass SafetyNet. If you still don't pass SafetyNet after flashing the latest Magisk and/or the Universal SafetyNet fix, I can bring it up with the developers.

There seems to be a problem with phone setting up. After going through the setup wizard it just loops into " Phone Setting up" and stays there, with no progress. And also there seems to be no keyboard installed by default so cant do anything.

I have updated my Vendor and Firmware partition using the Flashable ZIP provided by @riteshsaxena in his CarbonRom thread before posting the problem here.
Flashed it, asking for password for starting. Already flashed forced decryption, flashed again after same issue. Still not booting.

You can go into TWRP and in there WIPE, then go for advance Options. There select Data and repair the Partition. When you click that you will see 3 options probably just above the swipe to confirm thingy. Just click on Change partition. Change it to FAT or xFAT , when that is done just go back to EXT4 doing the same process I explained above. But remember you will lose data in internal storage as it is being wiped clean.

Okay sir.
Eager to try this ROM
---------- Post added at 07:55 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:53 AM ----------
I am on firmware 12.0.1
Is that fine?
Would like to see Android 11 on your other ROM, Ancient OS.
I haven't tried this ROM yet. Am guessing it's as good as Ancient?
can use custom kernel uncle?
My SD-Card appears as corrupted and I can't read any data from it. Does anyone have a fix for that?
Also the hide notch functionality doesn't seems to be working at all. When I select it, it just goes back to "Default".
The Volte toggle is missing, I would like to know, if the default is off?
Otherwise super smooth and fast rom, keep up the good work!
Edit: after a reboot the hide notch started to work as expected. (probably source bug, not rom related)

Does it have native call recorder? Or at least if we use dialer apps like Drupe will call recording functionality work?
Sorry unable to place calls with this ROM
Please ensure that you have selected phone app as default in settings.

Tried this earlier, selected Phone app in settings, didn't work, then installed a paid dialer (Drupe) that I use, selected it as default, even that didn't work.
Clean flashed (with even internal storage format) and tried this twice, no luck.
After setting phone as default reboot. It works

Everything works. Except when I'm using USB DAC it can detect it but cannot output the media through it.
Anyone else getting “signal 7” when flashing through TWRP? Even though it’s the A20 ROM it doesn‘t seem to like it for whatever reason
Edit: Fixed it by editing the “build-script“ file in the zip, now works properly, though Galaxy wearable and my watch is the most jank setup possible
screen goes black when i try to flash this. Any fix?

I cannot seem to get NFC to work on my A205YN it just doesn't show up in the menu whenever I flash it. I used the A20 link.

thought i might ask, im also using the A205YN, but I cant actually get the ROM to boot unless i first flash an A11 based rom then move to this. what are you using if you dont mind me asking

Start with your stock rom then follow the steps in this forum also make sure you're using the official TWRP because it shows all the partitions you need to wipe. then once you've flashed it you have to make sure you flash dmverity. or usually whenever you get stuck in the bootloader you flash dmverity and it fixes it. You can download dmverity from here. https://zackptg5.com/android.php#disverfe
Can i update from a custom android 11 ROM or i need to go back to Samsung's one? The custom ROM in question is Project Sakura for the a20e.

I'd do a full wipe and clean install this one.

I know that but it said that one should do it with stock ROM
For release 2021-10-18 at A20e (SM-202F) everything works perfect except:
* No NFC.
* No FM radio app.
* The second SIM card works fine but it does not appear in the «SIMs» list (Settings > Networks & Internet > SIMs) so there are certain parameters that cannot be configured.
Thanks for your effort.
How do I change the lockscreen clock?

It would seem that the stock wallpaper app is not in this ROM for some reason and as far I know you can only change it there
Your description says flash magisk (optional) - do you have any tip on how to do this as we do not have and likely will not get an official Android 12 firmware on this phone. So does that mean - no root for us?

Magisk works fine on this ROM. Sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking here
The only minor inconveniences i found were
-Default Smallest width is at 411 dp while the stock on the a20e is at 360 or 380. It just makes everything larger.
-The boot animation is a bit too big and some of the end text is out of frame.
-The default wallpaper app that can be accessed from the home screen is not installed (could be a fault in my phone only).
Other than these few it stutters a bit sometimes but it could be the fact that we are trying to run Android 12 on a device that came with Android 9 at launch.
hey guys I know It's different subject but I am new in this platform and I wanna ask that can I install twrp v3.5.2 on my one ui 3.1 samsung a20 by using odin ?

In theory yes however you may find it not working for some reason. I had to root my phone first and flash twrp using the app and root access
