About CRACK, haven't checked, not sure a patch has been released for LOS11, if it has after the build date, let me know and I'll rebuild it.
I used the this https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/d855/build but replaced d855 in commands with d605 and manually downloaded the sources to the according folders.

@Avamander: I tried to install your LineageOS ROM on top of a CM11 (by Varchain, the v11 release), but I get a "Status 7" error.
The error reports "set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed"
Checked the MD5 of the ZIP file and it is correct, both on my PC and on the SD.
Can you help me with the installation?

Did you wipe /system (and /cache) and are you using TWRP v2.6.3.0 (that's what I use)?

I was using a CWM version 2, and I had to update to the latest v3 (from Varchain, :
https://mega.nz/#!QXZUnbwQ!BRI3ENa-53StAjr2Tq1R-hmyIJ9ZDERWIAxXpx9Hye4) and it is now installing. Or do you suggest to update to TWRP?
I'll test it now.

Ok, CWM v3 installed and Lineage-v11 installed, too.
The install went OK. Few issues encountered so far:
1. looks like the phone WiFi is configured for US area (thus, only channels 1-11 are working, but not mine, as it was configured on channel 13. I had to use https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1982149 to properly fix it. Would be great if the ROM comes with the 1-13 set of channels.
2. Installing TitaniumBackup: install ok, but it did not run, ADB reported "libtitanium.so not found". Looks like the v8.1.0 is not able to extract the ARM library. I had to extract it from the APK (found here https://www.androidapksfree.com/apk/titanium-backup-apk-latest-version-download/download/) and manually push the library with "adb push libtitanium.so /data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup/files/"
Couldn't find anywhere else why those errors are caused. Do you have the same behaviour?
btw: thanks for your effort in keeping the D605 alive

I will investigate the WiFi issue... The TiBu issue, sounds weird, though a lot of old exploits have been patched and some apps might be expecting they exist. Though in my case I could install TiBu without issues from Google Play. I updated the planned task list.

As a side note: CWM v3 is also able to lokify the ROM after flashing Varchain added it "because I am lazy" (cit.)

That means it would still break the signature if I would release a signed image.

Quick update: the offline-charging is not working.
Switching off the phone and connecting the charger will boot up the phone in the default mode, not "only charging".

I know this might be a minor bug but auto brightness doesn't work.

Oh. Thanks for clearing that up. All in all its mostly stable. :good:

Another thing i noticed is that some system processes crash at random times. And if I have my own wallpaper set if that happens and I reboot the device it resets.

Seen that happen a few times, but without logs of the crash I can't help you.

1. Please remove the space character from the link to md5 for ROM.zip. I think it is easier to place a checksum instead of a link.
2. Last edited by Avamander; 26-12-2017 at 23:23. Reason: New build revert.
Has the file changed on the server, has it been refreshed or something else?

Is there really a reason to clean Internal storage and sdcard?

> 1. Please remove the space character from the link to md5 for ROM.zip. I think it is easier to place a checksum instead of a link.
It's more work to create the file for the recovery to verify it. The space is part of the link.

Has the file changed on the server, has it been refreshed or something else?[
Nope
> Is there really a reason to clean Internal storage and sdcard?
Internal storage? If you mean /data, yes, but /sdcard doesn't need to be wiped.
As a sidenote, I've been rebuilding the entire system today, will see if that brings back the WiFi.

This is an unofficial build of CM11.0.
This is an attempt to stay close to official cm11.0 and not make crazy hacks to make things working.
This is a pure CM build, only contains official CM features. I will not add any other external feature/app/etc.
For an up-to date working/not working list, bug tracker, useful guides & FAQ, visit our website:
http://legacyxperia.github.io
WARNING: This ROM uses a modified internal memory layout.
Our /system partition is originally 400MB but this space is not enough for a fluid kitkat experience and a full installation with proper google apps.
Our /cache partition is also too small to fit art-cache when we enable the ART runtime. We originally had 100MB /cache but art-cache needs ~150mb of free space.
I have repartitioned the internal memory layout, giving:
450mb in /system
469,5mb in /data
8mb in /cache
If you want to use this ROM you will always have to use the included kernel or use a kernel that includes the layour changes. Bug reports with non-standard kernels will be ignored.
You will have to wipe the device and make a clean install.
You cannot restore nandroid backups from previous android versions or restore nandroid backups from this ROM to other ROMs that don't use the new partition layout since you risk corrupting the data.
I suggest to use Titanium Backup, Helium or any other similar app to backup your data if you really need to.
Requirements:
* Have the stock ICS 4.1.B.0.587 full ftf flashed (doesn't matter if you have flashed it in the past or if you flash it before installing cm11.0, it will work both ways)
* LT15i (Arc) users need to flash LT18i (Arc S) ftf
* MT15i (Neo) users need to flash MT11i (Neo V) ftf
Steps required for correct installation (order is important):
1: Flash boot.img in fastboot & reboot into recovery
1.1 (optional): If the device is not booting, reboot to bootloader again and run:
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata
2: Enter recovery, go to mounts and storage
3: Format /system, then /data and then /cache (Important step!)
4: Flash update zip
5: Flash gapps (recommended package is the one provided in the link below)
Steps 1.1, 2 & 3 are not needed when you install new cm11 nightlies on top of older cm11 builds in the future
If you want to return to a ROM that doesn't use the new partition layout, you need to follow the above steps again (only replace boot.img & update zip with the ones you want to use).

Such a great work!
is there any hope to have ART working in our phones? any goods about having ART in our device or it doesn't make much difference for us?
(sorry for too many "?" )
Mobile data now working
First of all thanks for bringing KitKat to our devices
Now to the issue, everything is working fine except mobile data. The mobile data connection checkbox is checked and to be on safer side roaming checkbox is also checked, still no internet connection or any E or H sign on Network icon
EDIT::
Toggle network mode to 2G and 3G, 4 to 5 times then automatically seems to work, I dont know what triggers this
anyway now all things are workind and is buttery smooth

After that i checked the APN it was there and enable, then I manually added the APN configuration still no luck.
This problem is not mentioned in Working/Not working list, so thought this would be a issue.
Any more I can do to help you solve this problem, then it will be my pleasure :highfive:

The smultron build is bootlooping in my device. With or without wiping, with or without gapps. Tried redownloading as well. I thought it might not be fully uploaded but it has been sitting at 170mb for a while now

Why??
No USB mass storage. But why?

Pardon my ignorance. My Mini is a secondary phone for toying around with and I don't use it that often. So I'm not used to the whole "flashing kernel first"-thing which I haven't seen on other devices before.
Anyway, it's right in the OP which I failed to study carefully enough, so sorry for being stupid.
EDIT: Flashed successfully, obviously

Introduction:
This script came a long way before landing here. It originally came from @forumber2 with his guide for the GT-i9300. It then went on to the Note 2 by @ninekaw9 and @smeet.somaiya before I decided to port it over to this lovely device.

What does the script do?
It basically removes the partitions present from your device and creates partitions with modified sizes.
TLDR: A flashable .pit file

Features
Adds more space for more apps.
Reduced cache partition for even more space for apps.
No need for a computer, fully flashable in CWM.
How To Install?WARNING: From this point onwards, this guide requires your fullest attention so that it will not brick your device. I tested this on my own i9100, and it is working perfectly.
Links will be provided at the end of the post.
This will wipe everything from your device! Please make a backup before proceeding. Don't say I didn't warn you.
There are two methods to flashing this script. Both works perfectly fine.
Method 1 If you're using 1.1 and above, steps 6-9 are not needed!
Download the two recoveries provided in the Download post below.
Reboot into recovery (CWM or TWRP needed)
Flash philz_touch_6.07.9-i9100.zip and reboot into recovery.
Flash the repartition-apps<xxx>-data<xxx>.zip (Note: It will hang at rebooting to recovery in 5 seconds. Just take out the battery and boot it to recovery.)
Flash kk-kernel-05-01-TWRP.zip and reboot into recovery.
Click on Wipe, then Advanced Wipe.
Tick Internal Data, then click on Repair or Change File System.
Click on Change File System, click on EXT4, then swipe to confirm.
Click on Change File System again, click on exFAT, then swipe to confirm.
Go back to Advanced Wipe, tick on
Dalvik Cache
Cache
System
Data
emmc
Then swipe to wipe the 5 partitions.
Next, click on Install and install your preferred ROM.
Reboot and enjoy!
Method 2 If you're using 1.1 and above, steps 5-8 are not needed!
Download TWRP and the "parted" file from the bottom of the post.
Using a root browser (Root Browser recommended), place the parted file you have downloaded into /system/bin and set its permissions to "RWXR-XR-X".
Reboot into recovery and flash kk-kernel-05-01-TWRP.zip and reboot into recovery.
Flash the repartition-apps<xxx>-data<xxx>.zip
Click on Wipe, then Advanced Wipe.
Tick Internal Data, then click on Repair or Change File System.
Click on Change File System, click on EXT4, then swipe to confirm.
Click on Change File System again, click on exFAT, then swipe to confirm.
Go back to Advanced Wipe, tick on
Dalvik Cache
Cache
System
Data
emmc
Then swipe to wipe the 5 partitions.
Next, click on Install and install your preferred ROM.
Reboot and enjoy!

I will be updating this thread (probably) weekly, but I will provide support through my mobile device.
DO NOT use this on stock ROMs. You will brick your device.
Follow the guide CAREFULLY. Please.
Hey there,
First response it seems. I'll have to try this later as I haven't had to repartition my S2 and it sounds a lot quicker than using say ODIN for the job. Anyone had any issues yet?

Mirrors up. Mirrors for beta build will be provided at a later date.
I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but what happens to the space between 12.4 GB and 15.2 GB? In the original partitioning there is 1.94+11.5 = 13.44 GB of space, while this setup has only 4.48+6.33 = 10.81 GB. Thank you for you time.

Debloat Guide
Below is a list of system apps that are potentially safe to remove.
Always make sure to have backups.
My recommended app is Titanium Backup to remove/disable apps.
If you are unsure, try freezing/disabling a few apps to see how things go
Second List- Stats
This is a list of system Sony Data collection /Stats apps. I have been testing these for a day or so and they appear fine to remove but this one is a maybe, please note that I do not use sony apps like keyboard or xperia home, only the xperia email so thse sony apps may/may not be related to those apps. You can always try for yourself and see:
If you are unsure about an app I will do my best to try and figure out what it is. Also if I missed any or if anything needs to be added please let me know :good:
To state the obvious, if you are uninstalling things like stock launchers, keyboards and things, always make sure to have the replacement app set up before you uninstall things
Good Luck

Hi there,
This is not based off stock, this is based off Sonys Concept Rom, you can find more info here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/sonys-android-concept-marshmallow-t3229536
It's more lightweight than stock and is closer to AOSP, with a few sony features.
I dont have a D5833 so I cannot confirm if this works or not, if you want to try it you can, just make sure to a have a backup ready
Hey there, thanks for this ROM!
I'm on latest Concept with SuperSU 2.79SR3 and Xposed installed. Could I dirty flash your ROM if I uninstall Xposed first? Or should I wipe everything?
What about the camera quality in comparison to stock? Is fisheye effect present?

Camera quality should be same as stock, no fisheye.
This ROM is based off official Sony Concept firmware
Second post updated with debloating list. If you want me to provide explanations for each app I am happy to do so.
As always, make sure to backup before modifying your system., I always recommend Titanium Backup to remove/backup apps.
I have taken system apps down from about +-150 to about 85.
I have also disabled a few extra things that are not on the list like NFC services because I don't use this feature.
Good luck :good:

Zip installs fine for me, please can you provide more information? Just saying you get status 7 is not very helpful.
1) Have you tried re-downloading the rom and checking the md5 to make sure it is not corrupted.
2) This has only been tested on D5803, D5833 may not work
Also make sure you are running the latest version of TWRP and that you are already running concept rom and is rooted

This is the screenshot of the error 7. I' m in Concept 3657, rooted with superSU 2.79, with TWRP 3.0.2-1.
If i edit script in zip file, deleting assets line, and rename file to 220117_Concept_Plus_Beta2.zip, then gives me error 6.

For me sometimes it would work to flash TWRP MultiROM recovery from here:

If it doesn't want to download then long press on the link and press the last option which should say like "Download connection".

Me Too!
Yes, I tried it and the same thing happened to me, it must be a corrupt download because people are giving the release a 8.3/10. I found a slightly older but highly rated rogue pig version. ( see same link above)
I installed it successfully and must say, it's actually extremely good.
Corruption
The original newer file is probably just corrupted so I am going to try redownloading it. Until then, check out the other version that I placed in the same megadrive folder see the link above. Yes, it's a little older but its actually awesome!
I just attempted to find the newer rom by cold ruthless on the BBS website, has he been banned. I had a bookmark saved and when I click I get this message " Authors are banned or deleted automatically blocked" Not sure if its the same person or not, if this next download is corrupt. I would still recommend flyme_LEX720_rogue_6.8.3.17R-beta, I am testing it right now and like it alot.

It looks like what happened to me when going from an Oreo rom to Nougat, you have to format data not only wipe data. Format data, write "yes" and then install the rom. Always have a backup of your data before.
flyme is one of the best system , the official one is good but it's old , be sure to have eui firmware before flashing flyme .

Ok, this is what I have found. Your original latest flyme seems to be working ok. Here is what I have done. Using RAR apk, I unzipped it, and it complained about one apk in mizu-apk folder, and I ended up removing that folder completely, and zipped the ROM again. It flashed without any issue, but I can't seem to get Data to turn-on. It turns on briefly during the boot, but it goes away. I think if I compare the build.prop from older version with newer version, I may be able to find the fix.

Extremely good, at the moment my phone has no OS at all..
I only glanced at battery life briefly yesterday with Gsam battery tool. Plus, I installed BlackScreen 5.3 r2 which worked fine, I would rather wait for a real answer. Otherwise it would just be a guess.

Kernel Flasher is an Android app to flash, backup, and restore kernels.
Features
Flash partition images and AK3 kernel zips
Backup and Restore kernel partitions
Mount, Map, and Resize vendor_dlkm
Save dmesg, logcat, and ramoops
Check for kernel updates
Notes
When making a backup of the active slot, to save time, it is assumed that the kernel on disk is the same as the running kernel. The Check Kernel Version button can retrieve it from disk prior to backup.
Depending on the method used, the updated contents of vendor_dlkm may not be immediately available for backup after flash or restore. This can be resolved by unmounting, unmapping, then remapping it.
AK3 helper modules are not backed up.

Hi, great app!
Can you please leave the kernel installation log opened after the process ends with an error? Currently it's impossible to see what went wrong since the log disappears instantly and is being replaced by an error screen.

That is already done in my own personal test version of the app, but I haven't had a chance to clean it up and get it released. I'll make an effort to get that done this evening.
I've got several other enhancements planned, but most of my focus has been on Hashtree Patcher lately, though I think that is nearly wrapped up. I'll try to get the installation log issue fixed asap, then I'll work on the rest over the next few days.
I pushed a new build that resolves the installation log issue. Here is the full changelog:
added option to backup AK3 zips
disabled flash and restore on inactive slot
added save ramoops button
added stderr to AK3 logs
added .log file extension to log files
filtered ui_print and progress in AK3 logs
sorted backups

I also added a list of planned and potential features to the OP. If you've got some interest in seeing any of them or anything I may have missed in a future build, feel free to note it here. If the list gets to be too big of a pain to maintain here, I may request that they go to the issue tracker, instead. Note that I don't currently plan to add kernel tweaks to the app.
Edit: There was a bug in the v1.0.0-alpha03 build that caused it to crash frequently. This has been fixed in v1.0.0-alpha04.
Alpha 4 seems like a bad upload? I have downloaded it a couple times but Android just reports "There was a problem parsing the package"

Yes, I was playing with the new Splashscreen API, which requires Android 12, and I don't have an Android 11 device to test on, so I just set minSdk to 31. I'll see if I can get it to build against something lower.
I pushed a new build that will hopefully work on Android 11. Here are the changes:
lowered minSdk to 30
added vbmeta to raw partition backups
fixed vendor_dlkm map and mount

Note: With verity enabled, you may have to unmap vendor_dlkm twice, once for the verity device and again for the actual partition. The partition is remounted without verity, though I'm not sure there's a scenario where it's necessary to remount it at all.

I pushed a new build that hopefully fixes the issue. It now makes it to the point where it requires root to continue on an Android 11 AVD. I assume if it makes it to that point, the rest will work as expected. Anything beyond that, and I'll have to root the AVD to test it (though I did see an article about that a few weeks back, and it seemed simple enough).
Now works on lineage 18.1 Sony xz2 slot a/b device
A few random thoughts/ideas while testing on my 8T :
Got some errors trying to backup on my 8T since there's no vendor_boot, so I guess some logic will be needed for whether they exist.
Probably the feature should be like "backup slot" and save init_boot, boot, vendor_boot, dtbo, recovery, vendor_dlkm and vbmeta from the chosen slot if any of them exist.
If vendor_dlkm doesn't exist on an older device it doesn't make sense to show "Not Found" all over the place, nor offer to allow me to map it, it should hide those messages/buttons and just only show boot or whatever other partitions exist on the device.
If the reboot button had a ... to reveal an advanced reboot menu (menu items like the Magisk app) that would be excellent!

All good ideas. Probably good enough to check by path for the existence of a partition, rather than finding and parsing fstab. My next two weeks are brutal, but I'll see if I find some time to fiddle with it in there.
When you have time to work on the next update, would it be possible to make boot image flashing possible (External ones, not just saved backups), as well as zips?

The backup format is very basic. You could easily drop the image you want into the backup folder and create the properties file. I'll take a look at adding something to simplify direct flashing in the next few revisions. I'm out of pocket through the weekend and will probably need a few days of catch-up when I get back.

can I flash an uncompressed boot.img file with this app? the github only mentions flashing an AK3 zip file, so I was curious
sorry, I see the other reply. I'm hoping this app gets this feature in a future update soon. making a video about this app right now
Doesn't open up on Pixel 6. Anyone has a similar problem?

Does it throw an error message? If not, is there anything in the logcat?
