Call duration? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions & Answers

When I look and review my recent calls list I cannot for the life of me see how long the inbound or outbound call was , duration wise. Is this normal?

It won't tell you when looking at the log. You have to tap on it then hit the info. It'll give you the date and duration of the calls for that person.

Q: Google Voice Callback and Sense issue?

I use Google Voice Callback app to make free calls with my Google voice number, but everytime a call ends HTC Sense asks me if I want to add my Google Voice Number to my contacts list. Issue is my Google Voice Number is already in my contacts list, but apparently Sense does not recognize this.
Although this is a minor inconvenience I'm asking if anyone else has run into this problem and if so, were you able to fix it?

I'm not sure but maybe this checkbox controls it.

Perfect... I feel like such a dim wit for not checking general settings... Does not explain why Sense does not recognize a contact that has already been added... But this just might do the trick. Cheers.

Anyone know of a way to get the bar battery where it goes all the way from one side to the other? I used it on a ICS room and wish I had it on the CM10 i am using now.
It's hard to see in this picture, it's the thin blue line all the way at the bottom.
I couldn't see a thing in the picture.
But do you mean a thin line always being shown on the screen indicating battery status? If so, Battery Mix does that. It's free and has many options, it has a statusbar icon as default but it can be disabled.

Bug With incoming caller with hidden caller id

Hi Zettlers,
I just had an incoming caller with hidden id and noticed a Bug after hanging up the Phone.
The call was still in the notification bar and was undeletable. Also the time was still counting. I even switched to plane Mode to make sure the call is really hang up but it was still counting.
After a reboot the notification was gone.
Anionen noticed this too?

Just hung up from an unknown dialer call; didn't notice anything like that. Probably (hopefully) some one-off derp.
Thanks for trying.
I just came up with the idea, if it might is connected to the feature "Intelligent call handling" that can be activated under "Settings/Personlization/Motion". Do you have this activated?

Nope. Innovation in all glory but some things need to stay old school..
Now I even had the bug, when I called someone.
That's really weird.

Strange update request on phone.

Anyone ever seen this update window appear? Is it safe? Is it spam from an unsafe installed app?

It's an update for MIUI's "app vault". It's safe.

Excellent. Thank you very much.

I really hate the vault, so limited in function to a point that it's useless.
Luckily it can be turned off by going through Settings -> System & Device -> Home Screen & Recents -> App Vault
(just in case it hasn't been noticed.)
