Yeah not sure why they can't include the night mode. Pretty much standard in every phone now and I have got used to it so much that at night this screen hurts my eye [emoji23]
There are apps like twilight which do the blue light filter but would like it built into the system like other phones.

I use Twilight.

Twilight also has bonus of built in to stop that annoying "Apps running in Background" perma-notification.

My eyes where hurting to, but now I found this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-xz1/how-to/enable-night-light-mode-xz1-xperias-t3845701 to enable this feature without rooting the device! :good:

If your XZ1 is rooted you can install pix3lfy with magisk, it ports the night light function from pixel. It works for me.
Hope this helps.

Does the adaptative light is different than ambiant display?

Stock fw. But I think it's gonna work on lineage also(because it's close to AOSP). Not sure about existenz.

If your rooted unzip, go to oem-overlays ,drop the APK I'm there and reboot for the night light.

Hello
First of all I apologize if I post in the wrong topic
These days I will buy the Honor 7 Lite (5c)
As far as I've seen , it does have LED notification light.
The question comes: Can I customize the color of it using Lightflow or LightManager ?
Thank you and again, please have my apologies

Substratum + Andromeda

Hi, I'd like to gather some information about themeing this device because there's only one thread about ripped off overlays and that's it. So did anyone tried Andromeda and Substratum? Is it working or will bork the device? Any suggested themes that will work for sure? Thanks.
Yes I did try ! Guess what, it works very well ! Try the following themes
Swift Dark
Flux
i tried many times its not working
I'm on the fence looking at some nice dark themes for X4, but to be honest it looks like a bit of an hassle to perform all the procedure to activate Andromeda, and if I got it right one should repeat the process every time the device will get an update.

Yea exactly! Plus you need to be connected to pc everytime you change or apply a theme as the device is not rooted!

Try swift light theme ! It has everything themed mostly
Hi there. I have installed swift black and running smoothly. Currently no problems. Well, maybe some problems, but only with google apps, all you need to do is to not install overlays for google drive, google docs/slides/sheets, play store. And that's it. working like a charm for me.
Edit
Oh well, I've forgotten something. For the overlays to work you need to deactivate Google Play Protect. Yo can do so by going to Settings>Google>Security>Google Play Protect and just turn it off, then restart after installing theme overlays.
Cheers mate

Thank you for this ROM. Like a very tiny selection of ROMs I've found this looks Russian. It is the fastest most overall fluid ROM I've ever tried in my MN2.
The only thing that does not work is 'additional buttons' in settings. Everything else is flawless.
I do not speak or read Russian but just followed the steps in the pictures lol.
Will try an send logcat about additional buttons' crash.
Otherwise this ROM is flawless an gets the best out of Mi Note 2 ?
I thank you an HIGHLY recommend this ROM.

Um... The LG V20 does not have LED lighting other than the second screen (which I don't think applies) so how would this work for this phone?

Exactly, but it works with the LED of the camera, it's fun in the dark and nothing else.
Right on. I wish it was more accurate on beat with flashing, but cool for what it is

I wish i could see how the new EQ works because the new MusicUI is quite clean and I'll simply like it a lot.
Anyway, I'll see the purpose of the music LED.. it makes me miss my Nokia 3220 and SE W580 which have disco light built-in.. really nostalgic..
