Themed in call UI without root - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Themes, Apps, and Mods

Is there any way to do this? Unfortunately, for whatever dumb reason the Samsung themes do not (cannot?) theme in call UI.

Huh? It doesn't affect my battery whatsoever. Actually probably helps because everything is blacked out. I still get 6 to 8 hours screen on time depending on usage.

Without Substratum= 6-7hrs SOT; 45hrs total battery
WIth Substratum= 4-4 1/2hrs SOT; 30hrs total battery
It legit destroys my battery. Deff 100% does not, at all, help.

Substratum.. or root and go theming crazy. Im quite happy using substratum. And it definitly helps me get 2 1/2-3 more hours of screen time. Kustom apps have been tearing my batt up though

You don't need juice defender. It'll have a more negative effect on battery as its just another process running in the background.
I got the same message. There was a beta version of one that didn't have the same message. I ended up not using any of them but I am curious as to why we would get that message.
Anyone with any ideas?

didn't plan on using it to be honest, I just was confused by the message. didn't know a carrier could restrict an app like that (or atleast I think that's what's goin on) and don't really like it.

I got the Plus version and I love it. Used the default settings and get great standby time out of it. Unplugged the phone at 10 this morning, made a couple calls and checked e-mail. Been sitting on the desk about 12 hours and still have 95% battery left.

+1. I love this app. If I leave mobile data running, battery life on this phone sucks. With it I run schedules with mobile data where I can still get emails, and use my phone for more than 6 hrs. Don't know about the installation issues, since I've had it for awhile, just wanted to defend the app for those who feel it's not necessary

I believe they just uploaded v 3 on the market and it may take some time to sort it up.
im not sure who said not to use juice and i really dont care. i have noticed an improvement in my battery life by using it, and i am talking hours. If you shell out the money for the ultimate version you can take control over every power eating aspect of your phone. +1 to the developer

Ok, so I may have cheated a little. Out of curiosity, I flashed a nandroid I had made about a year prior for nostalgia purposes, and the Battery Indicator app thought it had been running on the same charge since then.

It's Battery Indicator Pro. It keeps a notification icon of the % battery left and a few stats in the notification drawer. It doesn't do much else, but it's handy.

[Request] 1% Battery meter on stock rom

I'm wondering if someone can tell me how to make the battery meter display in 1% increments. I know it's going to take some work, but I'm willing to learn if someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks!

Going to take me a day or so to mod, but if anyone wants it I'll make it available with a blue theme on the notification toggles and status bar with a Guage style battery meter.

Hello,
I dunno if it's my phone but it seems happening with all batteries : At some point battery will drop from ~50% to ~14%, recently it always happen @the same time : when the phone reboot. What does it make you think? Could it be phone hardware defect? Hope not..!

Take a look at this other thread I began on the International forum, I hope it can help you somehow.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2734356
is your issue just that its a high % or is it actually causing your battery to die quickly?
