Double clock in lockscreen - LG V30 Questions & Answers

anybody know how to delete the double clock in lockscreen ?

No one has the phone, bro!

I have the Korean g6, and couldn't get rid of the dual clock so I installed an app "dual clock remover".

Nothing to worry about, double clock is only at Korean models, namely V300S, V300K, and V300L
Your device won't have double clock

I can also confirm that wolfgart's solution worked perfectly. Thanks!

Isn't this just a roaming clock? I.e. you'll get it whenever you're using the phone outside of the home country? I always thought the home country was based on your settings or sim card though, rather than hardware/rom/etc. Not sure if I'm mistaken or something is different with this phone/clock.

I used app dual clock remove in appstore and turn off left clock, you should trail

Thank you so much, the method worked. Tried Dual clock remover before this but it said my model was not supported.

Dual clock remover app also works. Just hit the 2nd step and it will take you to the hidden menu to disable Dual clock

Confirm ! Just tab on the second button "UNCHECK BOTH" :good:

hi. can anyone made it on stock pie?
after updating to pie, it needs additional permission.

On the same boat as dchinacay, have a stock V300L updated to Pie. Dual clock remover says device is unsupported and quickshortcutmaker needs additional permission.

Hello
I can't find any "roaming" on Android 9 lg300k check image attached

[Request] Option to limit Quick Settings toggles

Quick Setting toggles in Paranoid are awesome, I really appreciate how they work.
However, I miss the option from CM to edit the toggles behaviour, intended as which options the toggle can show.
In my specific case, I would like to:
- remove the Device option from GPS toggle and use just Low/High precision
- remove LTE from Mobile Data Switcher, as I have no 4G traffic (I love Italy for this things... and sarcasm) so I can have 2G and 2G/3G (someone maybe prefer 3G only)
If anyone has any other preferences, write them below, I'd apreciate if others have my same thought.

Re: Option to limit Quick Settings toggles
Whenever, I start my phone, all the toggles are there. The other best thing about this I had discovered is in order to remove them, one can simply turn off the toggles via notification switch or just via uninstalling the entire app.

How remove Korean time widget in lock screen?

hi guys,
how did you managed to remove this korean time in the lock screen????
thxx for helping
if you have F600L , you can download app Dual clock Remover in Play Store then open it, choose chec Both, then untick the first row ( may be F600K working, i don't tried ) . Nothing solution in F600S . all app remove dual clock not working.
fantastic, thank you worked like a charm
If you have a F600S like I do I got to turn it off by accident. I was in a roaming location designated by the bars with a small R and I went into clocks and there it was. a check box to turn dual clock display off. I just unchecked it and now no more dual display on lock screen. Yes!

just curious if is possible to force go in Roaming not having a sim from another country....
I couldn't get this to work.
The phone went into Roaming mode as indicated by the little R on the signal bars.
However for some reason the clock screen did not give me roaming options .
I fact the phone would not let me switch on the data networks!
Very frustrating

How to Disable Roaming Dual clock on LG G5 LG-F700S Android 5.1/6.0/7.0
(by lancejen on reddit)
There are tutorials on the web to teach people how to disable the roaming dual clock on G2/G3 by using the QuickShortcutMaker app or Dual Clock Remover app to uncheck the Use roaming dual-clock setting, however this particular method doesn't work on the LG-F500S model.
To remove the lockscreen roaming dual-clock on the LG-F700S, follow the following steps:
Download QuickShortcutMaker
Search under ACTIVITIES the keyword "KT"
Click open 'Roaming' and then click on 'Roaming KT Roaming Test'
Create shortcut and open the shortcut
Check 'RAD TEST'
Turn off WiFi while keeping Data on, check the mobile signal strength icon now appears with a letter 'R'
Go Settings - Date & Time
The originally grey-out 'Roaming dual clock' item now becomes black and clickable.
Click to Disable the roaming dual clock.
Uncheck 'RAD TEST'
Turn on the Airplane mode, then off again to remove the 'R' status.
Now the phone works like before with the lockscreen showing only one clock.

[GUIDE] How to Add Battery percentage in status bar and modify layout of status bar

Source: http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/android-marshmallow-tips-and-tricks/7/
1.) Tap and hold the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the Quick Settings menu. After a few seconds, lift your finger and you will see a popup at the bottom telling you that the System UI Tuner has been added to your Settings.
2.) Go to your settings and into system UI tuner. (it is at the bottom of settings.)
3.) Check the box to Show embedded battery percentage.
4.) Configure the way you want your tiles displayed and in what order under quick settings. Under status bar you can turn off features you don't use so they never show as an option in the status bar.
5.) Done!

I was using this a couple of Moto versions back and kept hoping they would eventually let you replace the battery bar with nothing but a percent, but it never happened. It's so small I find myself blinking to make out the numbers.
Yeah that why I used Gravitybox with circle battery and % but my old eyes have trouble no matter what..lol

Xposed is what I"m going to miss most by not being able to root. I used Gravitybox and Flat Style Status Bar to completely change the status bar around. I have always hated the default Android status bar. I like my clock in the center and nothing but a percent for the battery.
Does this work?
Does this actually work on the G4?
I have an unlocked UK retail G4 and the cog does not spin and the System UI tuner is not added to the menu.
Could someone with a UK model please confirm if this does or does not work for them.

Works on my US G4. Pull down notification, press and hold on the gear in the top-right for 5 seconds or so, let go, System UI Tuner gets added to Settings.

Yes, tap and hold the cog in the drop down notification menu for 20 seconds (edit XT1622, dual sim from Motorola direct)
After reading around on the internet I have managed to solve this. I had turned on the developer option and changed the animation speed to x0.5. This seemed to somehow break the spinning cog.
Having now turn that off again and rebooted the cog does now spin as it should! Thanks for the help.

Did you try turning off the Developer Options? That's what fixed it for me.
I did this on an amazon moto G4 with the stock OEM.img flashed in. The menu shows up, and I can make it show battery% and turn off status bar icons, but, none of the "Quick Settings" changes actually take effect, even after a reboot. Not a big deal, but good to be aware of.
If you would like to have a larger battery percentage than this gives, download Clean UI launcher. In the launcher settings go to components settings and you can select battery percentage. Make sure status bar clear is turned on. This will give you an IOS style status bar. If you do not want IOS styled notification screen, make sure notification clear is turned off. You do not have to use CleanUI as your launcher for this to work. I have tried this with Nova and Google Now launchers.

That's not common, because I have the same phone and looked at another and in both the quick settings take effect.
I also had to turn off battery saver first.
But I prefer it to show % beside the battery icon not inside battery icon, old eyes.

XDA Navigation Gestures App

Hi, has anyone tried a new application by XDA? What are your thoughts?
Google Play link - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xda.nobar
my navigation bar does not hide...
I'm trying it right now. And it's not too bad. Only complaint is you can't change the transparency so that small bar will always be there. But you can change the size and make it really small so it won't be that noticeable.
So far, it seems like a good alternative to All in One Gestures. Will update on battery life later.

If you want hide the stock navigation bar, I find a workaround using immersive mode. You can enable it in nogaut too using an app called "SystemUI Tuner" and giving to it adb permission through a pc (so without root).
I don't like too much this gesture so i return to stock, but if you want this work.

Don't know why but it doesn't ask for root permission (needed in order to hide the navbar), so you need the adb commands, for the rest it works pretty well.

For hide the navbar you can switch the app proportion for the 18: 9 and set the permissions again. After this, turn off the gestures and turn on. If this not work, restart the phone. For me it works.

Can't find the scale option under lg g6 with 8.0.
There are some apps there but no navigation gestures.
I think with Android 7 I had the option. Now I can't find it any more. Can someone assist?
Or is it obsolete with Android 8 ?

If you are talking about clock on lockscreen not AOD just choose one of the clock and change colour to black one - last option of circle.
