No problems. Install 20S firmware via fastboot. It will fix BT

i don't know how to do with fastboot, i've installed my TWRP backup of my original 20s.
Is there a solution to fix my BT without installing the ROM?

After flashing via fastboot you will get the same rom, as from banggood. It is very easy

Partition "Firmware" failed to restore

As everyone already knew, MIUI 8 is not only available for China Developer ROM, it's not yet available for Global. I was on Global MIUI 7 Developer, I was very curious about MIUI 8. So, I tried to flash it through TWRP. Before I flash, I backed up all partitions on TWRP.
Fast forward 20 minutes, MIUI 8 flashed properly, but I want to go back to my original Global Developer MIUI 7. So, I tried to restore every partition through TWRP with the backup I did. Every partition restored successfully, except "Firmware". It gives error "extractTarFork() process ended with ERROR: 255"
In recovery log, it shows that "tar_extract_file(): failed to restore SELinux context ubject_r:vfat:s0 to file" for a lot of files.
It booted up normally, but it failed to detect my SIM card. Wifi working, just no SIM. Baseband version unknown, can't enter Phone Status, SIM cards & mobile networks greyed out. Phone tells that Can't get valid Device ID (Invalid Device ID: null)
Anyone did experienced this? Any solution?
Use twrp to restore again , this time exclude the firmware partition (restore all other partition except firmware). After the restoration complete , use MiFlashTool to flash back the Miui 7 stable

-persist.radio.multisim.config=dsds
to
-persist.radio.multisim.config=NA
its simple.
Rom:
-EUI5.8.21s(Stock)
Install:
-Twrp or custom recovery
-Wipe data,cache, dalvik and system
-Install the Rom
-Reboot to system

I think that you have installed the latest version of twrp wich make problems with encrypted data.
- Install the boot.img via fastboot (fastboot flash boot boot.img)
-Format data partition via fastboot (fastboot format userdata)
-Remove the latest twrp and install the old (fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2.img)
I have no problem with that twrp.

I wanted to ask a question: this ROM, compared to the overall performance (including fuel consumption) of the 20s, how are you? The translation in some languages I know not be perfect, but it does not matter. What they would press me to know is whether it is worth abandoning the 20s for this stock. Thank you all for the answers.

Issue with flashing Nougat, TWRP don't work

Hi I had Xpower5 Rom. I wanted to try new Nougat. I had many issues with flash (error of processing system.sin and loader.sin). I dont know how now it work. After that I flashed AndroPlus 43 kernel and TWRP 3.0.2. Kernel works but No white led on startup and no recovery there (also adb reboot recovery not work) . I tried another img of twrp and nothing changed. Any idea how install recovery? Anybody has the same problem with flashing? Thanks
As this phone doesn't support universal recovery and only sports a ota partition that can be used for recovery but then requires a kernel that supports booting recovery from ota partition, it's a hustle to use non standard recovery systems.
Is there even a nougat compatible kernel with included TWRP ota boot support for this phone?
This should work

Flash firmware 5.11 first and flash nougat firmware afterwards.
This should work
Not work as well
the 3.1 3.0.2 TWRP bundled in rootkernel 5.23 messess up the internal permissions, so it will appear to work until you try and recover, or - TWRP runs a wipe with mkext4fs
i was talking a bit about it in https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3560135

Yeah, going back to Lollipop and going all the way up to Nougat works, this is what happened to me. I thought I had a psuedo-recovery-dual system boot .... where i could switch between Marshmallow and Nougat
But then I decided to factory reset, and that started all the problems.

Heyyo @lakis3 , can you please elaborate?
What country and network?
Have you also tried flashing updated device firmware?
Have you by chance also tried EUI ROM 19s or 21s for x821?
If those do not work? I would then recommend attempting a QFIL as there could be a serious problem with the modem and flashing QFIL would help diagnose if the problem is indeed software or if it is a hardware issue...
This would be the recommended QFIL guide

(thank you for everything so far!!!)
Heyyo, so if I understand correctly, you were able to QFIL yeah?
EUI ROM recovery won't flash 19s via that update.zip thing, you'll need to use TWRP to wipe everything and then format data on your data partition and then reboot to twrp and then copy 19s to your device and flash and reboot.
Also, you're welcome hehe just glad to help a fellow LeEco community member. :good:

should I use a particular version of TWRP or anything?
@7h30 if you want to play it safe? TWRP official 3.1.0-0 was built for marshmallow, so that one will work fine. Otherwise? Latest official TWRP 3.3.1-0 will work fine too albeit it might pop up an error for missing vendor partition but that can be ignored as vendor partition only gets created with treble custom ROMs.

@7h30 yeah adb sideload is fine. If that won't work? you can also use adb push like this
Code:
adb push euirom.zip sdcard/
Also, sometimes Windows messes up the MTP drivers for our device. You can always check device manager and ensure "standard MTP USB driver" is being used for it.

Mate 10 Lite Oreo Bricked

Guys I really need help!
After trying to install Xposed in my Mate 10 Lite just updated to Oreo this started to bootloop.
I had rooted the device with Magisk 16.0 and the model was RNE-L21C432
I have the bootloder unlocked and can access fastboot, unfortunately I do not have a backup done via TWRP.
I also have only 2 images of TWRP
This one:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/9-lite/how-to/honor-9-lite-twrp-3-2-1-0-available-t3771358
but once started reboots the system 1 minute later without me touching anything
And I also have the TWRP distributed in this guide: https://ministryofsolutions.com/2018/05/root-huawei-mate-10-lite-oreo.html
Now if I start the phone goes into bootloop and does not boot.
What can I do?
