Can any of you have idea how to fix the volte video calling on all custom rom of redmi note 4 expect miui. this is a small issue for developers why they can't solve it.

Not really, would've been fixed a long ago if they knew the fix.
Many people need volte video call without volte video call custom rom is value less,according to me it is a big bugs so is there any way to run volte video call. In MIUI rom video call working fine but in cusgom rom why not iam one of the fan of custom rom.

I'd like to suggest you that, stick to MIUI until video call bug gets fixed on cust Roms.

Unfortunately there is no custom ROM which supports this feature. You can try some modified miui ROMs like multi pro etc

And you should soon get signal and volte symbol!(3 min) max. (Turn off and on data)
Then try restarting! And only if you are in any clean ROM!

Most of the custom roms based on AOSP or official rom like motorola's etc don't give support to video over LTE feature. It supports only volte. So u think u need to stick with MIUI or u can use duo app or any other video calling app.

Out of all custom rom vilte works only on this slim stable rom which is dated 29/06/2017

What really is the issue with viLTE ?
I'm currently on AEX 5.2 and would like viLTE to work. Please don't suggest that I use MIUI or ZUI.
It is really interesting to know that viLTE works on slimrom.
It appears that the IMS package provides the viLTE feature:

Use AEX Oero ROM
Use AEX Oreo 8.1 rom and add persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=0 to build.prop... and you're good to go... Video call is working

Hey guys i need some help, im not getting VOLTE on some roms but getting on some like RR and AEX and all miui based roms. The roms like legend rom, own rom, aim rom are not supporting volte for my device . is anyone here facing same issue or anyone knows the solution plz tell me.
Currently im on purenexus i got volte on installation after some time it goes and came back but again it goes and not coming back even after i tried reboot , volte disable/enable or clean flashing rom again.

Ah, yep. It's a bug at the moment on some roms.
It's fine with the LineageOS, RR & AEX ROMs etc.. But it's isn't working on Roms like Purenexus, I did tried PN twice and every time there's no volte, so after some reports by users, it's working only with one sim (Jio only), if you use dual sim you won't get VOLTE. So, it's a bug, provide em' logs. Wait for fixes, as there's no fix yet.
BTW, changing apn settings is also helped getting volte back on some Roms, But not on purenexus as I tried.

This time I suggest you to stick with any of the Roms which have no volte bug. Like lineage, RR, aex & etc... Wait for updates on those Roms which have volte bugs, I heard that purenexus volte bug fixed already, like that wait for an update.
Apn settings isn't working for purenexus, it worked for halogenOS only.
How to?
Just add new apn and copy paste the same things from default one, save it and choose it, reboot. If it's works you're lucky.

I checked with build.prop and disabled HAL3 but issue not fixed yet

Hi,
no any custom rom which support volte video call, when the developers fix this issue it's big issue for those who use jio sim.
Jio sim provide unlimited video call, voice call over volte, but in custom rom users unable to get this benefit, it's too painful for the jio users.
I beg from the developers to please fix this issue, there are so many users don't want to install custom roms just because of video call issue.
Please please fix this soon.

I can't install stock Rom because it has limited features and kernel not calibrated according to the CPU,
battery life is hell in my stock Rom.

check this out miui10 for kenzo everything works really good with smooth ui. Just change dpi to 400 it looks too zoomed in otherwise.

I tested now. Camera works perfectly, super smooth ... but:
- 4G LTE doens't work (in build 08/07 by WuFeng works) - Brazil - It works after reboot.
- Fingerprint doesn't work properly, unlock after 2s at 3s when screen's lock on. (in build 08/07 by WuFeng 4s to 5s)
- App Lock by MIUI doesn't work with fingerprint. (in build 08/07 by WuFeng too doesn't work)

I installed this gsi but I couldn't get the camera and volte to work...but you managed to make it work right!? If you could help please ?
Volte didnt work as i used airtel indian network so able to call and recieve, and camera was working fine for me without any issue try to reset storage of camera app, i installed magisk manager and rooted linegae rom
