How to add Facebook Shortcut to homescreen - ZTE Axon 7 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks

Do you mean besides opening the app drawer, putting your finger on the FB icon, then dragging onto the pane for the home screen you want it on? I set up a blank (invisible) Zooper widget in the top right corner of my screen that launches my FB app (I use Frindly instead of the actual FB one, though). I run a very minimalistic homescreen so that was the best path for me.

softbutton homescreen

looking for a SMALL softbutton, that appears in all programs, or maybe a sidebar that auto-collapses like in webdev DHTML, that gives ann arrow left side of the screen with options to go to homescreen, to go to homescr and leave the app, and to go to homescreen and leave ALL apps

[Q] Replacing an app with a widget on taskbar

Hello,
I just recently got the GS3(not rooted, stock everything) and was wondering if the apps located on the bottom taskbar and also the apps shortcuts located on the lock screen can be replaced with a widget? The reason I ask is because of the stock messaging app. The one good feature about this app is that on the lock screen it'll let you know how many unread messages you have by showing a number on the icon for the app. However, I'm not a fan of the app itself(regarding how it interprets picture messages) therefore I've installed GO SMS which was my messaging app from my old Incredible. Unfortunately if you replace the stock messaging app with the GO SMS app on the bottom taskbar and lock screen it will not show how many missed messages you have on the GO SMS icon. However, if you just place the GO SMS widget on any screen the widget will show how many missed messages you have. I've tried all options I can think of but when you drag a widget down to the taskbar it won't go in like the app would nor do I have the option of putting a widget on the lock screen(settings/lock screen/lock screen options/shortcuts). Any suggestions or would this require a root?
Thanks
not in the stock launcher or lockscreen.
you can use Nova and widget locker

LockScreen Mulitple Widgets on 1 screen

I know how to set up widgets, i have mail, text and gmail. The problem i am having is that when i get a new text message or missed call, it defaults to the stock 1st lock screen where it says "1 Messaging" "1 Missed Call".. Both without details. I would like to know how to get a Gmail and Messaging widget on the first lock screen to see what the message says and what my new Gmail message reads or missed calls, etc.
i can not figure out how to get more that 1 widget on each screen. Also how to remove the default "1 Messaging" notification screen.. Make sense?
It is my understanding that you can only have one widget per screen

With the default lockscreen you can only have one widget at a time. You can get around this by installing another lockscreen app like WidgetLocker Lockscreen.
You could also use DashClock which gives better information than the default lockscreen clock. To see more info you just swipe down and there it is.
To get that working on the default lock screen you need install DashClock and then go in to Settings/MyDevice/Lock screen and click on Multiple widgets. Now go back to the lock screen and pull down and then scroll to the left to the big plus sign. Tap on that and choose DashClock. It will now appear on your lock screen. Setup the notification that you want via DashClock. Now remove the original widget by tapping and holding on it and then drag it up to the garbage can.
Hope this helps you.

Even though you can setup Dashclock this way, it still hides almost all the information until you pull back down again to the screen edit mode.
The stock touch wiz lockscreen sucks. Widgets are clumsy if you use security. The app based lockscreens are all too buggy. Maybe someone will get the AOSP lockscreen working.

[Q] Quickly open Quick Settings?

I'm trying to set up a shortcut to open the JB quick settings window (the one you get by swiping the corner of the status bar, or swiping with two fingers, depending on your preference), and I can't seem to find a command for it anywhere. Not in Tasker, not in the Activities list, and no widget in the Play store that opens it with a tap. Oddly, I can use the Nova Launcher "Nova Actions" menu to create an "expand quick settings" button, but it can only sit on the home screen, while I want to add a button to my quick launch. If I could just create a widget or shortcut that toggles that button it'd work fine, but I can't find the functionality anywhere.
I'm running CM10.1. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
On HTC ONE you pull your notifications down with 2 fingers.

Any way to add a widget to the floating bar?

Basically what the title said, I wanted to add the mobile hotspot widget to the floating bar so I can just toggle it on/off without opening the app. Any one know if/how this can be done?
Doesn't look like it can be done. You can't even add one of the app shortcuts that appears when you long press an app icon on your home screen. I'm still trying to figure out what apps I'd actually throw in there as I already have the icons for my most used apps on my home screen.
