Huq - New Ad-free App Monetisation Model iOS / Android - General Monetization

Hi all,
We are looking for app publishers to help us grow our data partnerships coverage in the US, UK, Russia - and in particular Japan.
We provide an ultra-lightweight SDK for iOS and Android, and pay out up to $7.50 per 1,000 MAU every month subject to where in the world those users are. Our service is completely free from ads, or interruptions and we don’t engage in any form of re-targeting; the data we collect is used purely in analysis of consumer trends and market insights on an anonymised, trend-level basis.
If you have apps with a total reach of 100K+ MAUs in the US, UK, Russia and most importantly Japan, we want to partner with you!
Url: huq.io
Requirements:
• 100K+ MAU in the US, UK, RU and JP
• Location and WiFi services enabled
• Background location enabled on iOS
Check out our detailed FAQs and Earnings Estimator on our Publishers page below, and get in touch with us if you have any questions.

[IDEA] Facebook Apps with no data cost!

According to GSM Arena facebook announced 0.facebook.com (or zero.facebook.com) service which will be accessed freely from many GSM operators around the globe. Details: http://www.gsmarena.com/0facebookcom_launched_cuts_on_data_charges_and_loads_faster-news-1669.php
Now, I guess we can develop full fledged Facebook applications (with the limitations of 0.facebook.com of course) for Windows mobile, and use freely with no data cost.
I know that there are a few Facebook apps developed for WM, and the developers should consider using this service (at least as an option) for free facebook surfing.
What do you think?
As you said, it will only be limited by what 0.facebook.com offers us. If it's the same API that the current public-facing facebook offers us, then the current apps would only need a url change! Now where's the host file in WM when you need it???
Italy is excluded
ridiculous!

Too much traffic and useless posts here... Italy's (sadly) become FB addicted! XD

Need help with Usage Profiling application

Hello All,
I am a PhD student and as part of my rearch I have developed (still developing) an application to collect usage statistics from mobile devices to build a usage profile using Machine Learning Algorithms.
Since I am new to android developemnt, my application is still not perfect and I need help from some devs here at XDA to iron out few design issues that I have.
Additionaly I need few testers, who can help me in the study. I need the use their mobile device usage data.
NO personally identifiable data is/will be collected.
The features being collected at the moment include the following.
Number and duration of Calls sent to contacts/non-contacts
Number of sms sent/freceived to contacts/non-contacts
CPU usage
RAM Usage
Number of bytes of Data Traffic transferred/received
Number of user/system application and services running on the device.
I will share my code and application here, if any dev/tester wants to help me.
Kind Regards

Mini guide in Mobile promotion
As true supporter of mobile marketing:angel: I really want to share with my top hints of mobile promotion. Here we go:
Step 1: Familiarize audience with your Application.
One of my recommendations is to test the application providing it users before official publishing. Testing will help to deal with such moments:
[*]Introduce the product to audience.
[*]Form loyalty.
[*]Get information about bugs and missing features of the application.
Step 2: Ensure the online presence
It can be publics about gaming applications in social networks, as well as you can create a separate site dedicated to the program and a description of its capabilities.
Step 3: Provide visibility for your app in Store
General for the App Store and Google Play factors are: installs (both the total number of installations and period surges), the number of launches, the number of user reviews and rate
Also excellent way to promote it is publishing the application in alternative stores.
Step 4: Tell more about your application
Provide the App release to specialized publications.
Step 5: publish reviews on thematic sites.
You can write a review yourself or pay for journalist publications
Step 6: Use incent traffic
As noted above, the position of the application in Google and Apple stores is affected by the number and dynamics of the installs. With the help of specialized services you can get the download of the program, which in theory should improve its position in the stores.
Step 7: Ask users to rate the app
You remember that estimates affect the position of applications in stores. Therefore, build in the interface programs suggestions to evaluate and comment on the product
Step 8: Advertise your app
Use the contextual advertising systems of Google, advertise the application in social networks, show banners to visitors in thematic advertisement areas.
Be Star with your Application and bring use to people
Yes, it is really helpful. Thank you!
