Google drive promotion? - LG V30 Questions & Answers

Does this include any promotion of Google drive? My g4 and g3 did. 100gb.

I don't think so. At least I have not seen anything about it anywhere. If remember correctly on those devices that had that promo it told you during the setup process. It did not tell me in the setup process of this phone.

No Drive promotion here. Last time I saw one was on my last Chromebook I bought at the beginning of the year.

Darn. I use to love that extra space.
Thanks for the replies.

Decideing to go to Google I/O 2011

Title says all. Can anyone tell me anything about it(if you have attended) besides that its expensive as all hell. Like is there any requirements to attend or is it open to anybody that can afford it?
How expensive is it? lol I'd love to go.
I/O is more of a development conference than anything else. You can still access the live blogs on some tech sites.
It was 400 for registration last year. But I do believe all the people got a n1 for registering

Yeah that's the thing... didn't they give free white evos out last time?
Yea I do believe so... I'm not certain tho because I have yet to attend.

My husband and I went to Google I/O 2010. We were both sent Droids in the mail before the conference and both received a black Evo while at the conference. All of the phones included a free month of service. If you sign up during the early bird registration, you save some money (last year it sold out during early bird). Google gives out other freebies like socks and shirts too. They also had breakfast and lunch all days of the conference and dinner (with alcohol!) at the party. I think it's well worth the money. We stayed in California for the whole week and took full advantage of Groupons for dining and entertainment. We will be going back in 2011 because it's an awesome experience and well worth the money. If you really want to go, I would just set aside the money in advance so you don't have to worry about the whole cost at once. We paid for our conference tickets the week they went on sale, the plane tickets the next month, hotel the next month and set aside money for everything else during the other months we were waiting to go. It's a really incredible experience!
Around when did the early bird registration start? Really interested to go, want to bounce some ideas
My receipt was dated 1/14/10 for last year
I checked my receipt for Google IO 2010 and it is dated January 14th. I am sure I registered within a week of the announcement. I would expect to see registration announced and open shortly after New Year's. Put money aside now as it will sell out VERY fast. Last year it sold out during early bird registration period.
Does anyone know where to get tickets for the Google I/O confefence 2011? Thanks

to the people that went to IO last year, are you developers or just people that wanted to go? if you are the later, what were your thoughts on the actual conference? is it worth it for people who don't develop?
Should non developers attend?

I am not a developer per se, and I went last year. The swag in and of itself makes it worth attending. Additionally I had an amazing time attending the Android workshops and in the area where all the various software companies had their displays (I got a square reader for example). I will be registering as soon as early bird registration opens, I already have purchased my flight tickets. If you are as much a phone geek as me I would strongly recommend attending.
I can't wait
I know I can't wait to go to GOOGLE I/O this year, when is registration?

Student Registration
Hey Question!!! how does the student registration work... when you get there is the only thing you have to show is a student id, also do students get the same perks that the full fair paying paticipants get...ie gifts...lol
My perspective on Google I/O
Google I/O is the conference to go to for all Google's developer tech. Not just Android, but Google TV, Chrome, GWT, etc...
As a European I have to say the cost is very low. Java One last year cost $2000 - that's $400 a day. An open source conference in London this spring is charging the equivalent of $500 a day. I can fly in to SF for a full week, stay in a nice hotel, go to Google I/O and spend less than the cost of a week's training in the UK (yes, I know I/O is only two days).
Devoxx is similar in approach - a fantastic value conference in Belgium that from a training and development perspective is a no-brainer. I'm a freelance consultant so I don't say this lightly - when I'm training I'm not earning!
If you're interested in going then you need to keep an eye on the Google Code Blog (googlecode) at blogspot (I've not enough posts yet to insert a URL) or the twitter feed 'googleio', which just yesterday said that registration would open this month. See you there!
Can anyone give me some feedback/justification on the android information at google io?
My company is willing to send me if it is worthwhile, and I need to find out as much about it as possible.
Is this the best conference for android developers to go to? Is there a better one?

well i mean no one has more knowledge on the android system them the people who developed it? ive never been to one, but by the sounds of the people posting, it seems like it would be very worthwhile. if i wasnt a poor college student, i think that i would sign up to go.
Edit: just saw the student price.... now I'm for sure going
I'll be there this year. =)
I made the decision to go after seeing the swag^H^H^H^H conferences from last year. Money is budgeted for my daughter (student) and I to buy tickets as soon as they open up.

The HP Touchpad Demo Unit (OLD)

Well I bought the last touchpad in my area (after ordering from BB online and getting a backordered email) and it is the demo model which will not let me set up a webos account or anything. I read over in the pre forums about it and posted there as well but was hoping maybe someone here might know a way around this?
I am calling HP tomorrow because I read that the serial numbers are locked to a demo unit in case of theft and they can remove the lock so you can use it normally (crossing fingers) but I really do not know till they open tomorrow. I called the WebOS number included in the box and they said to exchange it for another one (I laughed) and then they said to just return it. I really want to have one of these things to play with so any help is really appreciated.
Waiting till the touchandroid thing comes out might not help since I have to return it within 14 days I believe for them to give me my money back. I would have to have a perfectly working tablet to keep it rather than spending $150 on a demo unit that wont work.
Hoping for help

Or, buy one from here (16GB for $99 with $5 shipping) and when you get a tracking number, return the one you have for a refund.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0056UOUC8
Thanx for the link but on my end they are all showing as $415.53 and up - even on the right hand side of the page where amazon keeps other sellers. Lowest priced one says $234.98.
I am still hoping HP will fix this.

Yeah, sorry man. the price was $100, but that company appears to have sold out. The name has changed which is weird that Amazon would have the same link for a different company.

Very nice! Now if we could get to register webos accounts, we wouldnt need HP anymore
I may do this later today after seeing if HP will fix the demo units or not. Still might keep it, I don't know yet.
The activation bypass works to an extent. You can get past the webos login, and enable developer privs to add homebrewed apps thru preware, but it seems very unlikely that you can sideload the apps only available through the login app store. At least you can web browse and watch movies and such on it. If anyone knows how to get non homebrewed apps on it, i would like to know. For now, i think its worth the value, even for the demo unit, to wait for android port.

Just spoke with someone at the 1-866-477-3824 number and she told me I am basically out of luck. She is transferring me to tech support now to see if they know of a way to do it but it is looking like HP is gonna be pricks and not release the serials. She told me the serial numbers for demo units are set to not allow the webos account creation and access so if they wanted to, they could release them it seems.
Ok tech support just hung up on me - gotta love it.
WebOS account
OK well I was doing some thinking and can think of 2 possible ways to fix the app problem. 1 is impostah and changing everything we can to clone a non demo touchpad. This will hopefully fool them into allowing us to create or log into an account. If this doesn't work my second idea is a better app repository to put apps onto it. Since HP is discontinuing it's work on the webOS we will likely have a need for the repository eventually.
I know there is the homebrew repository but one that also has apps from the official store would be awesome. An all in one app store that is completely free and open. Would be a first to some degree on the mobile platform. I would set this up but I can't access the app store so wouldn't be able to contact Devs and such about putting their apps onto it.
This is basically PreWare. Except it wouldn't fly because of all the warez. PreWare is fine for now. Put your effort into that since it is already going strong.
preware
Preware just doesn't have very many (useful) apps available.

I have found a way to Create a WEBOS account after going into Developer mode. Now i am using WEBOSDoctor to reinstall WebOS 3.0.2 and will try logining in with the account I Just creadted. I can log into the WEBOS site online through HP's website which it didnt allow me to do earlier. Will keep everyone posted!
IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took everyone's work so far and went a step further so I am taking as much credit as everyone else who managed to crack this! I first flashed it using WEBOSDoctor to 3.0.2. Then i used the devicetool.jar to put it into Developer mode. Then I used Preware to install Impostah. I then used Impostah to create a WEBOS account. Reflashed it to 3.0.2 using WEBOSDoctor and logged in with the WEBOS account I had just created! Then once up I launched the HP APP STORE and it came up with an error. I closed it out waited a few more minutes and the loaded it again and quickly tapped on the Categories tab at the bottom. Clicked on Games and Installed Angry Birds. WE HAVE ALL CRACKED THIS AND NO LONGER NEED TO FIGHT WITH HP OR RETURN OUR UNITS TO THE STORES! GREAT JOB EVERYONE INVOLVED!

Confirmed this worked!!!, but in a different manner. I didn't use Impostah to accomplish the fix.
1) Went to https://developer.palm.com/
2) Signed up for Developers Account (disregard paypal memo)
3) Fill out info (first name, last name, email), click continue.
4) Check your e-mail, and validate your WEBOS developers account.
5) From registration page, fill out e-mail address, create a pw, and choose/create a security question; Continue.
6) Fill out Contact Information; Continue.
7) Once you reach Tax Info page, just close your page (you might be able to earlier than this, but I went that far and it worked).
Your account is "kinda" created.
8) Turn on HP Touchpad (you might have to follow Mattatha's instructions above), and get to WEBOS login screen. Choose Create Profile, and type in the same Name, E-mail, password, security question as you created earlier.
Note* I tried clicking Sign In on my HP Touchpad after doing steps 1-7, but it still didn't seem to work, but step #8 got me in, and able to use the app store.
Verify your login my going to Device Info.
Enjoy your HP Touchpad Demo with full capabilities!
Called the store i got it from and they told me if I try this they will not take it back. They said if HP won't help, I can get a refund unless I try to hack around the demo stuff.
If I try this and it does not work for me, is there a way to put the demo software back on and remove everything else?

RadioShark - they said if it is not in the same condition they do not have to take it as a return.
I may give this a shot, just wish I knew if the one I ordered from BB was gonna ship (won't let me cancel anymore but still says "Order Status: 1 item(s) - Order in process of being fulfilled; Usually ships in null - null days."), if so, I would return this in a heartbeat.
If I do try it then the wife would have to let me keep both of them if the BB one ships too LOL If she doesn't kill me, then she would get to keep both
Trying to figure out how to do the preware and impostah thing right now - if I figure it out, I think I will try that way to see how it goes. I am afraid the developer accounts may get cancelled after a certain period of time without having the paypal and tax info in them (I don't know if this will happen, I am just thinking it may).
You guys/gals/people/aliens are awesome for figuring this stuff out! Came here for my Droid Eris and have Cyanogenmod on it now Awesome site!

Tell them at Radio Shack they are full of ****! I am a store manager for them and there is a specific memo that went out company wide yesterday to allow returns of ALL demo's sold. It said NOTHING about condition so they CAN NOT tell you no.

WOW eBay is bad.

I was about to get this thing, I had been waiting quite some time in front of my comp for this sale. I noticed a little lag, figured it was just because of my Macbook's recent permissions issues. So then the sale price hits, and eBay slows to a crawl. now, that might have been foreseeable years ago, but it's almost 2012 and large online businesses should know by now to prepare for bandwidth issues during sales around Christmas.
so anyway, the sale hits, and I hit add to cart, and nothing happens. crawl, crawl, crawl. so then I finally get the cart to open after about 15 mins or so, with the 16 GB version in it, and I click again for the 6th or 7th time on the 32 GB for me, to add it. after another few minutes, the cart opens, with both touchpads in it, and tells me that they are both UNAVAILABLE. despite the fact that I had had them in the cart and was signed in, eBay's sytem sold them anyway.
now, if I was at a Best Buy, and put something in my cart on my way to the counter, but then got delayed by someone walking slowly through the aisle, do you think a Best buy employee would take an item out of my cart and sell it to someone else? unlikely, unless they wanted to get fired.
this was all on my school's T1 connection btw. just tested at 75 down, 40 up. every other site is running flawlessly but failBay.
They had like only 2400 ish of the 16gb and 2500ish of the 32. Sad... Couldn't process payment either.
Took me almost an hour and many, many failed attempts but I was able to snag 32 GB honey. Now anybody know where I can find the accessory kit that was supposed to be available with the touchstone charger and keyboard? It's not in HP's store or elsewhere on eBay that I can find.
I was able to get a 16 in my cart, but when I went to check out I got the error it wasn't available. That was at 6 past the hour.
So much for employees only today and public sale tomorrow.
All this demand and excitement should show HP there is room for another pony in the tablet race. Hopefully when they make their next webOS tablet they do it right, and do something crazy like market it and advertise that it exists.

I got a 32 gb model which is what I was aiming for.
When I hit Buy It Now it wouldn't go through so I manually changed the address bar to ebay.co.uk instead of ebay.com and it went through with no problem and I got my payment confirm email.
Ebay must have been hammered.
Had to use the Canadian ebay site to get a 32gb touchpad.

I tried for both a 16GB and 32GB exactly at 6pm Central Time and no luck ... zip ... nada. I wanted to gift the 32GB and use the 16GB as a back up since I'm tinkering a lot with mine. I heard at another site that the servers crashed and that they might have more in stock. I'm still refreshing the eBay page.
all the sold items are from people in pacific time....hmmm.
via EVO.
How exactly is this eBays fault? This **** always happens whenever there is something a lot of people want. When I purchased a few dozen TouchPads from the HP SMS It was a lot worse and I was double charged a few times.
Its also quite amazing seeing all those pathetic buyers leaving Negative feedback to HP for charging 19 for shipping. As that was what HP was charging on its SMS page.
I spent an hour and a half trying to buy 2 of them, even called up ebay!! And no luck -__- so furious!

ok dude..
bit you DO realize, that eBay is an AUCTION plattform?
dunno where you live and what you experienced till now... but they're no regular shopping site like you seem to misunderstood ..
eBay too is first come first served.. and holding them responsible for not guaranteeing you one EVEN THOUGH you had them in your cart... sry .. but srsly? first-time ebayer?
if you followed this whole Touchpad-madness from the beginning you should have known what to expect.. otherwise you were just unprepared ..
as it was only expected to mass-kill servers again..
then again.. you should have completed ONE order at a time.. do you could have had one now instead of nothing maybe?
just for the next time..
oh and congratulations to everyone who joined the club of TouchPad-owners
People probably had the ebay page with everything ready to go when it began

Same here. I was able to snag a 32 after about 45 min of refreshing.
I am not sure why anyone would be surprised that ebay checkout would be dicey on this deal. I considered trying to get in on the action, but went to bed early instead. I snagged a 16gb in the original HP firesale and have been very happy with it.
A few have commented that the demand for these touchpads at $99 and $149 should make HP reconsider the platform. HP cannot make a profit at that price point. Take the Kindle Fire as an example. It is estimated that Amazon is losing money on the Kindle Fire. They intend to make up the profit on the sale of books, movies, and apps. If Amazon is losing money at the $200 price point on a 7" unit with a stripped down feature set, what price would HP need to get to break even on a 10" touchpad? HP would probably need to charge at least $300 just to break even, and maybe $350-400 to make a profit. Add to that the fact that HP is not a media sales company. Apple has itunes and Amazon has its media empire. Apple and Amazon have the infrastructure to make tons of cash on the sale of apps and media. HP has no such outlet. They are purely a hardware manufacturer. Add to that the expense of running and developing your own OS and you have a recipe for failure.
The other hardware manufacturers like Samsung, Asus, etc are using Android and therefore saving a boatload in software development costs. Therefore they can price thier devices a bit lower than HP and make a profit.
Bottom line, the touchpad at $499 was a complete joke. At $299 it may have been viable - but HP would not be able to make a profit on the hardware and they do not have the infrastructure to make a profit on the sale of books, media, and such.
How I scored 2x's 32gb Touchpads, last night...a pay by play.
I'm not trying to troll here, or get flamed for this post, but I don't see Ebay as the bad guy here...or HP.
Ebay's not bad. Neither is HP. Don't be bitter if you didn't get lucky or prepare.
Here are a few thoughts. I'm in south England and was lucky enough to get (not one, but) 2 32gb models. But I expected the sales rush and made proper preparations. I mean, the way this was publicized, even if only 1% of the US population (excluding the rest of the world, mind you) was interested then there were somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 million people trying to get on that auction. Knowing this, like I said, I made some preparations. Maybe these steps helped, maybe I got lucky, maybe I made a deal with the devil...but the moral of the story is that I gave it thought, prepared as much as I could, and got exactly what I was hoping for...here's how it went down. [auction began 12:00AM local time]
1. (9:00PM local time) I powered down my laptop for about 2 hours, to let the processor and mb cool down (I know, probably excessive, but I really wanted a pair of pads)
2. (11:45PM local time) I turned off my wifi adaptor and connected directly to my router with an ethernet cable (my housemate offered me his 20 meter cable, but I opted for my 2 meter cable...again, probably overkill: worrying about signal reduction and loss over an additional 18 meters of ethernet cable)
3. (11:48PM local time) I manually killed any programs and processes running in the background at reboot. If I didn't need it for the browser for this auction, it was terminated. Why waste processing power on ObjectDock or WinAmp?!
4. (11:49PM local time) I deleted my cache, browser history and cleared all data in my browser and killed a few unnecessary browser extensions (again, why did I need them last night?).
5. (11:52PM local time) I logged into ebay, and opened the HP store and the touchpad stores in spare browser tabs about 10 minutes before the auction prices dipped. (This probably didn't increase my chances of being effective, but it made me feel better that I could see the auctions.)
6. (11:54PM local time) Possibly the most effective measure was copying the URL for the auction I wanted to get in on to the clipboard (I assume we all know CTRL-C, here). This was helpful when the REAL traffic hit.
I had absolutely NO problem loading the site, until 1 minute after the price change (12:01AM local time). Then all hell broke loose. I assume there were several servers in the Ebay server bays that literally almost caught on fire last night (ok, maybe a bit of literary hyperbole there). I clicked to add a (first just 1) 32gb pad to my cart. I was taken directly to the pay for my cart-page...but then I decided that my wife would probably appreciate one for her bday in a few months, so I decided to damn the torpedoes and go for broke (12:03AM local time). When I went back however, was when problems started popping up. The servers weren't returning data...basically it was an admin's worst nightmare. There would've been nothing they could do even if they had been watching it happen. Here's where #6 was handy, I popped open a new tab and with CTRL-V pasted my destination URL. Working as frantically as a xmas-elf high on meth on xmas-eve, I had to rinse and repeat this step a few times (now we're up to about 12:05-7 local). I had a strategy for reloading the page, too. I noticed before the prices dropped that the site either loaded in about 1-1.5 seconds or it took up to a minute, and had a tendency of crashing (message: no data returned from server). So after several reload/wait half a second cycles I managed to get 2 of those bad-boys in my cart, and immediately paid for them.
End of story. Sorry that got so long, but I'm long winded...
Anyway, sorry to those who didn't make the preparations or have the luck that I did. Like I said, I dunno which it was...but IMO the prep paid off.
I had three phones two computers both connect to a t1 server and I was unable to buy the 16gb version at all! Ended up just getting the 32gb instead and it took 20 min to order it.

bit you DO realize, that eBay is an AUCTION plattform?
dunno where you live and what you experienced till now... but they're no regular shopping site like you seem to misunderstood ..
eBay too is first come first served.. and holding them responsible for not guaranteeing you one EVEN THOUGH you had them in your cart... sry .. but srsly? first-time ebayer?

long time ebayer actually. which is why I know that its NOT just an auction platform. the sale last night was, in fact, from the STORE section of the site. i.e, the regular shopping site.
As for the cart thing, yes, they should be guaranteeing people products if the item has been placed in their carts. that's what first come, first served actually means. It means I actually got there first, and got the item, yet ebay then sold it to someone else just because their own site was lagging.
as for the site ag, eBay is indeed responsible for that. it's a business' responsibility to make sure it is prepared for its customers, not the customer's responsibility to redesign the store.

Its a calculated business risk. Should Ebay pay to have enough server capability and bandwidth to handle an event (and the traffic that comes with it) that happens maybe once a year?
Then answer is an emphatic no. That would be a colossal waste of money. Will that decision piss some people off? Sure. For the great majority, though, they will either A) get a Touchpad, or B) Understand that these things happen with a popular product (especially since we JUST saw it happen 4 months ago). You seem to be in category C. and Ebay is betting that the lost goodwill from those in category C. will be less than the cost of paying a ****-ton for servers and bandwidth.
A perfect brick and mortar example would be that you are essentially saying that Toys R' Us should buy three buildings for every store. One to house the store as we see it now, and the other two that the open only around christmas to shelve all of the tickle-me-elmos that are demanded at that time. These other two buildings would remain empty and unused the rest of the year. I am sure you would agree that this would be a horrible waste of capital and whoever suggests it should be fired.
Oh and to respond to your best buy analogy, I just want to let you know that there are a TON of reports out there about customers grabbing items out of the carts of other customers on Black Friday, so yes it does happen.
Point is, you are frustrated that you didn't get one, this is understandable. But you got greedy and got burned. Sucks, but there it is.

Box app (50gb free)

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.box.android
Box.com
Its similar to dropbox but I've been happier with Box. Plus you get 50gb free if you sign up by March 23!!! Don't hesitate!
Ya, I signed up for Box as it seemed like a good idea at the time. Turns out there are a few caveats to their 50GB.
1. There's no desktop client for personal accounts. You have to sign up for the business or enterprise level starting at $15 a month. Without a desktop client, uploading files one at a time via the web or phone makes the 50GB superfluous.
2. There's a 10GB monthly bandwidth limit. So, even if you COULD spend the time to upload 50GB in files one at a time it would take you 5 months to get them all uploaded. This is assuming you never download any since that presumably goes against your bandwidth number too.
So, it sounded good at the beginning. Now... not so much.
In short, it's not like getting Dropbox with 50GB of space.
You can upload multiple files at a time with this app and you can easily get on the site from your computer to manage files. Of course some people aren't going to think this is anywhere near dropbox but it works well for me and could work well for others. Worth a try if you ask me.

Samsung S9+ and Microsoft OneDrive 100GB for 2-years offer

Just curious if anyone has bothered to install OneDrive, log-in, go to settings in the app, and click the "Apply 100 GB Samsung offer" button on their S9/S9+ phone.
Four family members with S9+ phones here. All did it. Not one of us got the 100 GB - even though no error was displayed.
Bummer. Would have been kind of nice as a (temporary) photo storage option, even if it was only for two years.
Kind makes one wonder what the point of that button is, anyway, if not to allocate 100 GB of OneDrive space.
Oh, well.
I just did it and I got the extra storage. I had to install Outlook & set it up but that's ok because I have an Outlook email account. Did it ask you to install Outlook? Thanks for the tip!
I had to install another app as well. Showed I got the 100gb. However when I check the settings it still shows 5gb. Hopefully it updates
Yup just took a little bit. Shows 105gb available now.
Doesn't work if you have previously done this offer on a previous galaxy. I believe I did it on the Galaxy s6 or s7 so doesnt work on my account.
Got it, i mean 100GB of storage for 2 years. But it wasnt easy. No idea how i did it, but im pretty sure i didnt got at first try. In case you cant or you dont see the bonus, try to delete app data and try again.

I did take advantage of this on my S7, but that storage is expired now.
How does one come to know this? Is this information published somewhere?
I can find no mention of it being a one-time-only promotion. In fact, it seems to state that it should be on a per-device basis - although that wording is not clear.

I believe it says it when it says 1 offer per account.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 Edition works too!!
Guys, I can add to the above that you do not really need the latest & greatest in Samsung Android hardware to get the 100 GBs for free!
I am using an older Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1" 2014 Edition tablet with Android OS 5.1.1 on it here, and got the same offer these days.
It seems "some Samsung models" qualify, unsure if there is a list as to which Samsung phones/tablets qualify, and which not.
Anyway, I do not use MS Word or MS Excel on my tablet as I prefer doing that on my Windows PC. So, the 100 GB offer asked me to download one of the MS Office Android apps - I chose MS Word.
It downloaded via Play Store, and OneDrive also asked me to enable photo upload from my Samsung tablet into MS OneDrive, which was in fact already enabled on my tablet anyway.
Then after a few seconds, the 100 extra GBs showed in my MS OneDrive Android app account status at once! On my Windows PC, I had to quit OneDrive, then run again for them to show.
I hope this can help others too.
I have some questions that interest me, please - and likely others too:
1) Does anyone know long the promotion will be going on? The Samsung website has some useful info on this 100 GB for free offer, but not its duration. I mean the 100 GBs last for 2 years, but likely the offer is not forever.
2) Is there a list of qualifying/non-qualifying Samsung devices, please? I imagine maybe older phones/tablets that cannot run MS Office apps at all might be some of those that do not qualify.
(such as Android OS 2.x or 3.x devices/etc)

New device - yes.
Same OneDrive account - no.
MS online storage plans
I got additional 100 gb. Now I have 1.1 TB. I have office 365 subscription
I, like you, have found some nice deals for those who purchase Samsung products. I was among those who woke up one morning, back in 2013, to find a lifetime 1TB storage waiting to be discovered when logging into their new onedrive.com account.
I have several live.com accounts, too & use for those I choose to share my extra online storage with. I have dedicated myself to storing rare music & vintage family movies.
Since storage isn't an issue for me, I will remain with MS as long as plenty of online storage will remain, without question
I claimed this offer I think on my s6 and it expired sometime this winter (can't remember the month) I've been logged into my OneDrive work account since i got the phone and after seeing this i just added my personal account as well and it immediately gave me 105gb, no dialog box or anything.
Just got this notification on my s9+, too bad i cannot use it twice since i already claimed the offer on my s7 edge

Actually, you can. I just signed up for a new microsoft account with a new email and I had a new 100 GB free storage.
Will I get offered the 100gb of storage if I order a pre owned phone off boost mobile.com?
I never bother with these cons, if you use that space up and don't pay them after the 2yrs you're (censored)
