Edit

Heyyo, just a heads up for anyone in this thread who uses MultiROM currently I've been experiencing issues with bootloops with Oreo as a secondary ROM and it seems to be affecting even my Nougat ROMs with sdcardfs disabled as well.
Be sure anything important is backed up before you try just in case you get the same grief.
More info about my unlucky experience is in a recent post in the MultiROM thread.
This ROM also didn't have an on screen keyboard when I tested it without OpenGapps so you'll definitely want any version of OpenGapps.

Thanks, for me it just failed to flash as secondary rom (script returned an error so ROM was removed the end of flashing).

Heyyo, oh weird! I thought that was because I was missing OpenGapps all together heh. Yeah I guess the ROM should come with an AOSP on screen keyboard
OpenGapps Sock does come with Gboard so that would be a workaround for meow until Omni 8 has AOSP keyboard

A real race of developpers... we got three different roms of Oreo with almost the same bugs.. what about to work together to build one ?

Heyyo, err if you check the source codes on GitHub they are essentially doing that but they're also working on different ROM bases.
Same could be said about all custom ROM development that happened on Marshmallow back in the day and same with Nougat.
Heck, BS kernel being a prime example of working with a developer who works on the LeEco Le Pro 3 and we have developers here who port it and keep updated ports for the Le Max 2.

Hey. It's great to hear that the camera finally works.. How's the battery life of this rom? Is there any difference than Nougat?

Heyyo, it's growing pains bro. The earliest release of Omni 8 so issues were bound to arise.
The way to get past this bug is to install OpenGapps Stock or higher as they would come with GBoard.
It seems to be a ROM bug that it doesn't come with any AOSP keyboard. So my guess is andr68rus would either have to manually add in an AOSP keyboard or wait for Omni 8 to add it in.

Yeah but a ROM without stock keyboard seems ridiculous for me. No offence of course. Thx for the dev for his hard work and thank you for the reply.. Can you tell me plz if the orea rom does have better battery performance or not.. What was your SoT? Can you send an ss?

You are answer yourself on your question: we are work together to make our device work with oreo, so we have same bugs. We are just support different ROMs.
About fingerprint, it work in my last local build, that was rom-specific bug.
Also, i want to remind everyone that this rom is EXPEREMENTAL and only for TESTING now, it cant be daily driver and have a lot of bugs.

So Omni has same rotation bug as AICP?

DEVICE DISCLAIMER:
I DON'T OWN THE DEVICE. TESTING ON THE SPECIFIC DEVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO TESTERS
Krexus was born out of a simple necessity. The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested ON HAMMERHEAD, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.
And lastly, this is first and foremost a ROM about Nexus 5 (hammerhead). This is my personal device, this is where I test the ROM. angler, bullhead, flo, mako, SHAMU builds are provided AS-IS. With that in mind, I have to say that the google+ community has been flashing shamu builds for a looong time and hasn't come up with anything, so I thought I'd share it here, too.
That said, welcome aboard!

@KreAch3R I'm glad you left the double tap to wake feature in. To be honest, I like this feature when it is automatically included in the ROM rather than have to try and either find a custom kernel or use kernel auditor.

That was the reason I wanted to leave it in, too. Krexus tries to never deviate from stock, only fix/include necessary stuff. I'm glad it works well now, it seems that I was missing some commits on the device tree, but I found them after @BeansTown106 let me know about them.
This is one of the best stock rooted ROMs out and runs great. Thank you for bringing it to us here on XDA.

Krexus-CAF is what the name implies. The Krexus unique combination of mods, on top of a clean uptodate and latest CAF source.
Built mainly of top of AOSP-CAF (with permission) and using only what's necessary from all the other great non-nexus device supporting ROMs (CyanogenMod, Dirty Unicorns, AOSPB, Tesla etc), Krexus-CAF tries to provide the maximum compatibility possible with CM-based device trees while keeping a small ROM base.

Hi, for now I'm not able to check this unfortunatelly. Maybe it's a ROM problem, both ROMs (Dot and AICP) were builded with same device sources so I think the problem isn't here. Maybe DotOS doesn't support Viper4Android, I'm not using it so I can't tell nothing about that :/ Anyway, Nougat version of DotOS isn't supported for now so probably I can't get help from ROM devs. If you want, you can check some other threads of DotOS for another devices and look this problem, maybe someone had the same problem.

okay thank you and what bout hide quick settings tiles on lockscreen for both AICP and DOTSos
you could really import some costumization settings from RR nougat you have done great job but it still can be better ,
That's ask for ROM creators, not for me ;p If some functions isn't implemented, I willn't add them, this is ROM specified. Possibly you can for yourself try to cherry-pick some commits from RR, add them to DotOS sources and then compile ROM. Nougat editions of most ROMs are not supported for now, just only Oreo, this is for example with DotOS or AICP.

Thanks for good words There probably will be some bugs but as I said, I'm not able to fix this, i don't have enough experience etc and now I haven't got too much time for learning something more about Android. Next thing is fact, that Nougat ROMs are not supported for now by devs what will be impediment for me. I think I'll do something more with Oreo when it will be stable
And anyway I was using this ROM for a week or a bit more and I didn't experienced any reboot ;-;

I thought so. But flash V-Kernel x and I have no more unexpected reboots.
I think that xposed makes it unstable, but v kernel fix that.

I was waiting for this thread when I saw official build for X2 on sourceforge. I also asked in telegram group. Many thanks to @pranjalm
I tested it when it was released. Found some bugs as:
1.Cast screen doesn't work.
2.smart pixel function is horrible. It starts ghost touch.
3.no quick charge toggle. Quick charge by default.
4. Eui audio by shivateja push it into bootloop.
5. CDLA doesn't work.
Edit:- it is all about 19 jan released build
I'll test latest one and report. Thanks
The rom link by pranjalm is unofficial rom and it is not available on official Resurrection remix website. Will this latest build go official?
I didnt know about 0119 build before zayatoshi mentioned. This is unofficial build. And I am not expert but I will try.
For the display it is possible to choose the theme (dark / light) as well as the accent color. however I did not find the possibility to put the notifications in dark / black. is it possible with RR?
all the pictures taken on this ROM are abnormally pink. this is a bug of several ROMs that I have tested. are you planning to fix this bug?

Statistics data is very important, especially on which phone you can see them installed. Therefore, instead of connecting to the GoogleDrive connection should be written directly to their site and should be reflected in the statistics.
You can see the statistics here.
https://stats.resurrectionremix.com
In order for the reports to appear here, you must submit https://get.resurrectionremix.com/ from this link in the first message.
From here you can download it for Le Max 2 https://get.resurrectionremix.com/?dir=x2

No, notification are still light. U can use substratum engine for this or wait for android q for system less dark mode.

May be problem of gcam you are using. I am using stock camera app and no problem at all.
The ROM is very Smooth. However, the developer option cannot be created.

No, I mean in the official version 19012019. The developper screen is not there. After pressing 5 times the build menu, the dev option crashes and not created.

the problem is not only in the gcam. When I take a picture with any application I have this problem: gcam, stock Cam, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.
in roms for example AEX, ROS, Lineage does not have this bug. maybe it would be interesting to ask this question to improve ROM.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Thx for that, but I'm a little bit confused;
Did you developed that version of pie or villarleg?
Because villarleg's version got already promoted by @Lethalben (https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/development/resurection-remix-7-0-0-t3893465)
Thanks
Edit:
Sorry, just saw your post in the thread above, you're the new maintainer! Nice job
A special thank you to VillarLeg will be welcome!
His the first maintener, and without him, there is nothing and without you to @AgustinLorenzo!
Thanks to all for keeping this Rom alive. Resurrection Remix is living up to its name once again.
Looking forward to seeing the next build.

First shutdown and the phone goes in EDL mode.
After the reboot, look to the battery! I loose more than 25%!?!
Incredible!
If anybody have an explication, you're welcome!
@AgustinLorenzo
I see that the Live Display is already implemented. Is there a plan to also include Color Profile?
Currently, Lineage is the only Pie rom with that feature and it would be nice to have an another rom that offer correct color display.

Did you a normal shutdown? Otherwise it could be because its cold outside. My phone and its battery reacts "allergy" to temperatures below 6-7° celsius. I experienced also a reboot after that in EDL, with an instant battery drain about 20-40%.

I'm also aren't on AOSIP, I use AICP.
Batteries, especially lithium-ionen, got big problems with temperature. It is a normal thing to expect such bugs when you're on a custom rom and don't use the stock rom.
Stock rom's got regulations to avoid this anormal shutdowns and are also specially designed to not be harmed.
Cdla doesn't works for me.
Will this rom work on ZL0 X722?
Will IR blast follow?

That issue seems specific to the current Pie Roms ( It can be avoided by putting the phone in Airplane mode when charging) and under clocking cores ( Lately Pie Roms have been under-clocked by default)
On a completely different note :
Check out these awesome Splash Screen for every Rom ever made for the Le Pro 3 including AICP : https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/themes/access-to-4dpa-site-files-available-xda-t3832894
They are so gorgeous, I have to share.
