This is a message to the moderators , is there any way you can create a thread specifically for the G930u or S7 unlocked , as many forums are spread out through each carrier and the S7 forum is mainly equanox stuff

Yes, we already have that. Discussions pertaining to the G930U not locked to a US carrier belong in the Galaxy S7 International section.

Hello,
Sorry if this is not correct place for this question but I can't seem to fin it in the forums and this is about the only place the site will allow me to post as a new member. Can anyone direct me to how or where to get info on getting ics setup on mine? I am rooted but not unlocked, I would like to unlock if anyone has a link to how to do that also. Thanks in advance just bored of froyo on my Tab and on my Boost Evo4 G

Ok
Sorry about posting in wrong area...I read the Q&A but just read it again. I don't think I broke any rules as I can see. I did search forums using the site search box and nothing comes up on my topic which is why I asked. Did I do something else I was allowed to do or you just want to make sure I read the forum rules? Sorry if I did I just don't see anything I did not allowed so If I did just let me know thanks.

Says the writer of a "short and sweet" 200 word thread regarding this topic in the QUESTION forum (which, btw, fails to pose any semblance of a question).
Simple, concise bootloader unlocking discussion in the DEVELOPMENT sub?

Development thread is for custom Roms, kernels, mods....
This should have been posted in the general questions threads.
And yes there are threads already on this subject.

Request: Security Focused ROM

Hello everyone,
i am searching for a security focused/hardened Custom Rom for the Huawei P20 Lite.
Something like GrapheneOS. GrapheneOS sounds very interesting but unfortunately it is not available for the P20 Lite.
Please note that i am not only talking about Privacy. I am searching a secure Rom.
I often find LineageOS when i am googling, but i think it is more privacy focused and i also read that security updates often be shipped to late...
Greetings and thanks in advance

Also, the [ROM] prefix is reserved for developer use when posting ROM projects., not questions.
@-Alf- I now read this the second time in connection with security questions.
What is the deal about Kirin Devices? I mean what makes it impossible to harden a ROM/OS and deactivate unsafe Software Parts/Services and install security features?

I can't name the reasons, I'm not a developer. I only know that ROM/OS like Graphene, Postmarket, Sailfish, UbuntuTouch etc. etc. (all that works on Snapdragon, MTK, etc.) , cannot be installed on Kirin. Or they only work partially.
No roms are safe. Your data can always be wiped, stolen etc with a custom recovery and unlocked bootloader

samsung galaxy tab s7 custom rom

Why there is still NOT any custom rom available?
What is going on? Thnx
You've been a member of XDA long enough to know that you should read the stickies, and that questions do not belong in the development section.
Thread moved.
Additionally, the TWRP is still in development.
