Google reminders sync problems - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys
I know this question was asked a lot of times already, but I couldn't find a working solution yet.
I use two phones very often; A OnePlus 5 and a Samsung Galaxy S6. Both are connected to my Google account in the Google app, and are running Android 7.1 Nougat.
But when I add a reminder on either phone, it never shows up on the other, neither in the calendar app. Other syncs like notes work just fine.
Has anyone an idea of a fix?

[Q] Reminders wont save in Google Now

So I'm having issues with google now and reminders.
Be it manually entering or by voice, it shows the reminder saving, but then never appear in my upcoming reminders list.
And obviously, no reminder is played when the time or location comes.
I'm running stock note 2 rooted.
I tried updating to the 4.4 google search along with the launcher, but that didnt fix the issue. So I revert back.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Well, I decided to upgrade (complete wipe) and using a new rom.
Reminders still do not work.
They do work in google Keep ... which is only a work around. However, I found out something interesting.
#1 - I'm not the only one having this problem. And it seems to be random, across multiple devices, including iOS.
#2 - I tried logging into google now with my other google account and it worked!
So something is up between the google account and Now's sync... I can only assume.
Does anyone know of a setting withing gmail or your google account that can cause problems? I tried comparing my two accounts, but couldnt figure it out
Sounds like a Google issue for sure. I'd report it to them.
Experiencing the same problem

I am having PRECISELY the same issue. It started at random, but now my Google account will not display notifications for reminders. One day they were all working perfectly. The next day, they all just stopped cold turkey.
I used my backup Gmail account, and BAM they worked! Just for that account however. After I switched back to my primary Gmail account, they still would not work. I tried so many roms and methods, but I can only conclude that it must be a google account problem. I have been all over Google Dashboard and through every single setting.
I am running the Galaxy Note 3 on T-mobile (hltetmo) with JediElite 4.4.2. Has anyone experienced the same issue?
Thank guys!
UPDATE:
After starting to look again (and actually coming across my own question on google lol) I got it working!
It must have been an update that changed or even added the option.
Just for the hell of it, i was going through the "customize" options and found "Continue to get reminders"
IT was set to "no"
As soon as it turned to yes, all of my test reminders showed up.
recap:
open Google Now > select the "magic wand" on the bottom right > Select Everything Else > set "Continue to get reminders" to yes

Google App Data and Keyboard Dictionary Sync Problem

Got my new Pixel XL and everything is great, except none of my Google App Data is syncing (most notably my saved WiFi networks because that's easiest to check). Additionally, my Google Keyboard personal dictionary will not show up on my phone. I have no sync errors, all sync settings/accounts have been checked, forcefully synced, removed/re-added, etc. Standard troubleshooting stuff.
The issue is not just the Pixel. Two weekends I wiped my Nexus 5X and gave it to my buddy so he could take Android for a test drive (considering the jump from iOS). I use my Nexus 6 for my G Suite work phone, so while waiting for my Pixel to ship I just created a second profile on the Nexus 6 for my personal account. I experienced the same sync issue there as well. I chocked it up to running multiple profiles (I've heard Google Keyboard struggles with multiple profile dictionaries, especially business profiles) and just sucked it up until the Pixel arrived.
Well now here it is and I'm still not syncing, so does anyone know how I can fix this? I've never had an issue in the past, I'd log in on a new phone and all of my stuff would be waiting for me.
Side note: I spent an hour chatting with Pixel support this morning about this issue, even though it's not a Pixel issue, I thought I'd see what the support is all about. What a joke.
I'm wondering if this has anything to do with Nougat. Android Backup Service has never failed me until Nougat. Starting to lose hope that my data is recoverable.
I have similar problem with Google keyboard sync, primary I use personal Gmail account and as secondary Gmail work account. When I remove work account and reinstall Google keyboard sync start to work until I add Gmail work account... I don't understand where's the problem with it...

Interesting data point.
I don't think the issue is Nougat. I added a few words/shortcuts to my dictionary on my Pixel XL, and then ran the sync on my car's Android 5.1 head unit and the words did not sync. (Neither do my saved networks). I don't know how to get support on this. No one knows what I'm talking about most of the time, there's no official support;I can't just call up Google. Pixel support is really only good for helping me figure out how to power on my phone. I was hoping they might have some connections but it's just typical lackluster support.

It's because Google Keyboard doesn't support sync with GSuite accounts But I don't know how use two accounts, one GSuite and second free and connect the app to the free account. Any idea?
BTW f*ck Google when it takes more usability to free users that to paying...

Issue: Google Account Contacts Sync not working correctly on LG V30 phones.

Issue: Google Account Contacts Sync not working correctly resulting in some contacts missing. The phone shows the same number of Google Contacts as the website shows for Google Contacts, but the phone does not have them all, including our son's contact which is what made this issue obvious.
Stats: Two bran new stock LG V30 phones T-Mobile version purchased from a physical T-Mobile store and running Android 8.0 via LG Bridge software for the update.
Steps taken already:
NOTE: I have never had a phone do this with the Google Contacts before, and I've had many.
NOTE: The issues was present both before and after the Android 8.0 update and before and after any apps installed [I only install from the Play Store no side loads either].
Four times removed the Google Account and rebooted and added account back in, with no resolve.
Three times a factory reset, with no resolve.
Once replaced with another new phone from the T-Mobile store, with no resolve.
Spoke with T-Mobile tech support engineering, of course they've never heard of the issue before, and suggested the steps I've already taken. No resolve.
Emailed LG with no response after four business days. No resolve.
I've tested the Google Contacts on other phones with no issues with the Google Contacts, ZTE ZMax Pro Z981, Samsung Galaxy S5, BLU Bold Studio 6 lte, etc. and all Google Contacts worked fine on all of them.
Added later. Ooops I should have also mentioned that when I force the Sync of the Google Account it often does not do anything, even if I have tested by making changes to a contact or added one.
This is crazy. What to do?

Just spoke with Sandrina from T-Mobile and she helped figure out the problem. The Battery Saver on the LG V30 blocks Google Contacts from being able to Sync, even if you manually go in and try to force Sync. That surprised us both that it would even prevent a forced Sync. But sure enough, turning off the Battery Saver allowed Sync to happen. Thank You Sandrina from T-Mobile.

Galaxy S9+ Notification issues

Hi all,
I have been searching for this for a while and haven't found the answer anywhere.
I have 2 problems with notifications on my S9+ and can't figure out how to fix them - hopefully someone here can help.
1. Gmail: I have 4 different gmail accounts on my phone, 3 of them show up notifications no problem, but 1 of them for some reason doesn't. The one that doesn't is the most important one however, and the default account for the phone.
I have gone through what I can see for the settings and duplicated everything between the different accounts and I have also deleted the account and reloaded it and still no joy.
From what I can see it is still syncing and retrieving the mails, but just not telling me if there are new ones there.
Any ideas?
2. Whatsapp: This may not be an issue with my phone, but again hopefully someone can help. I have a wearOS watch and up until recently whatsapp notifications were coming up on the watch no problem before one day just stopping. I am not sure if any changes occured (add update etc.) that caused the notifications to stop.
But what makes this one strange (to me anyway) is that all other notifications come up no problem on my watch, however I also have a fitbit which retrieves whatsapp messages but these are still working fine. Both watch and fitbit worked fine with whatsapp notifications previously just in case anyone thinks there might be an issue having two wearables taking the same notifications.
Hopefully someone can help me with 1 or both of these issues.
Thanks very much,
N

aCalendar+ tasks won't sync

I am using aCalendar+ and sync everything with Google Calendar. With my Fire HD 10 and my old Huawei P8 lite everything works fine. But on my Redmi Note 9 S with Miui 11.0.3 (QJWEUXM) I don't get the tasks to sync.
On initial installation of aCalendar I get a partial sync of the tasks. Which means, most, but not all tasks are imported to aCalendar. But then no further sync is possible.
I tried everything I could find by Google search, including setting all permissions and autostart. But nothing works.
Does anybody experience the same problem? Is there a fix or workaround? I would be so happy, if anybody could help.
I have exactly the same misbehaviour on my side.
Looking also for help.
Cheers
A workaround:
Go for the IMO best davsync for Android --> davx5 It is opensource, active and you get it for free on fdroid or on PlayStore for a few bucks
