[GUIDE] Record 4K Video From Front Camera On OnePlus 3/3T ( No Root) - OnePlus 3T Themes, Apps, and Mods

Only thing you need to do is to install a OnePlus 5 camera app port.

I don't know why is this possible but it actually is. The resolution is of a 4k video and the bitrate too. Also a noticeable improvement in clarity can be observed.
Here's a video showing the proof -
P.S - I'm using Oxygen OS.
Can someone with an op5 check whether they can do it too?

Update once, For All framework 720p frontcamera
This is great. First of all, it is an installable apk, so that's convenient. It has extra settings accessible without having to go through the menus (see screenshot). And this is the only Sense camera I've found where I can leave touch to capture enabled without messing up manual refocusing during video capture. Other sense cams freeze if you try to manually refocus during video recording, and touch to capture is left enabled.

Still doesnt seem to have reliable autofocus. Most of these cameras have this problem and I suspect there are conflicting options at play.

And have manual focus option, thanks for the tip!
That's how look the app, got so much options on focus and maybe seems it's more faster focusing on photos.
just a small note
quality on 3rd party camera apps will be alot worse just because sony doesnt want anyone stealing their tech, they make certain things work only on the stock app for safety

It doesn't "take pictures with a resolution of 63.5MP", it takes several pictures and combines them. The results are bad if you don't use a tripod.

fyi your links doesnt work.
I have tried that app a while ago. I does increase resolution but not detail. I find that if you want detail you care better off shooting raw or with an app that turns off jpeg NR (Proshot or Freedcam for example); for still subjects you could also use snap hdr cam low light image stacking mode quite effective in good light. IMHO

Hi all,
I've changed the app icon of Lineage OS' Snap camera to the Pixel 1 round icon.
I have not made any changes to the app itself so it should run just fine.
I have tested this on LOS14.1 and AICP 12.1 and the app works just as it should. (Android 7.1.2 only)
In order to use this, you must delete the Snap camera located in /system/app or system/priv-app. (Please do this at your own risk, take a nandroid backup!!!!!!)
I am not responsible for bricking your devices or making you lose camera functionality.
Install at your own risk. I use this as a daily camera app with no issue whatsoever.
The app can be installed as normal/user with no issues.
If anyone with a variant other than G900F can confirm this app fully working (Camera, Video record incl. 4k) then let me know so I can update this post.
My aim for this is to get the looks some desire but also not loose any functionality as you would installing Google camera APK's.

Missing Dual Camera mode (take a photo with both front and back camera)

Is there any possibility to enable dual camera mode as for previous galaxy models?

I miss the feature too! It was awesome! Samsung, please put it back. I've enjoyed using it in my S5, S7 and now missing it on S9...

+1
I might have to return the s9 and keep the s8. The main reason I'm staying with samsung phones because of the dual camera recording mode. Have any1 noticed videos freezes in s9 when playing previous recorded dual camera mode?
Hello everybody, there is a new app called DuoVision Camera that records and takes picture from both front and back cameras simultaneously, and even has the retro frame with todays date. Check it out on playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.camera.duovisioncamera&hl=en. Enjoy !
