Remove any magisk module regarding Viper4Android, Dolby Atmos or uninstall old Viper4Android app from data before installing
If Viper4Android doesnt work then try changing SElinux to permissive

Now V4A installer turned to FX Manager , You can manage V4A, Dolby Atmos or Shox Audio mod using this. Install or Uninstall doesnt conflict with each other.

Can't get v4a to work after installing shox+v4a with FXmanager 1.0. It seems to be a problem that shox modifies some values after the v4a package is installed, because I've seen this just installing separate zips. Installing the shox package before you install v4a should fix this.

I installed shox + v4A only. Working perfectly on du
Shox don't affect v4A .. Yes Audiophile mode causes conflicts. If you read audiophile mode's agreement you can see that
Build updated... Now if you select shox with other fx, shox will be installed first before installing others....

I deleted, the when i restarted phone i opened V4A i needed too install driver i did and again i rebooted
Same problem dont work with youtube, any help?
EDIT: Tried spotify, doesnt work either..

Hi, I modified some file in the old v4a version to be able to install on new android 7.0 Nougat in enforcing mode until some permissive kernel will be released
I tried the new vers. of v4a (ViPER4Android_2.5.0.5_guitardedhero) but didn't like the new interface and the new sound quality, this old vers. has the super audio quality driver enabled together with Dolby Atmos and offers an improved audio quality over the newest one (in my opinion)
by doing these 3 steps above you'll also have enhanced audio output volume through headphones
STEP0. make sure you already have stericson's busybox installed on your phone before anything else
STEP1. just flash this zip file through TWRP www120.zippyshare.com/v/Jr4TLKB6/file.html
STEP2. replace these 2 files from this archive in /system/etc and give them permission 644 (rw-r-r) www79.zippyshare.com/v/GXEFYNUh/file.html
STEP3. reboot
enjoy v4a and dolby atmos working together on SElinux enforcing mode

What's your step?
Whcih busybox are you using?
Supersu or magisk?
I think magisk might be the issue.
Every where i searched, guys are suggesting supersu to be better option for nougat when it comes to installing v4a.

I didnt install busybox. Using supersu..
I jst flashed v4a 2.5.0.5, after that replaced the xml files as mentioned in step 2 in this post. Thats all
Why isn't any sound mod working on my RN3 Android O (Nitrogen OS) . I remember flashing the same Dolby zip file before. I tried Viper4Android, Dolby Atmos, Arise sound mod but none of them worked. Does anyone have any clue?

I'm now in latest NoS oreo rom build. In my phone all sound mod working. But I'm only use viper4android. It enough for me for my earphone.
Before use this. You need to flash magisk after that open magisk and install magisk Direct Install ( Recommend ) option which is third option. Then wait it will be self reboot.
Now open magisk manager download module Dolby Atmos or viper4android.
For viper4android script will be install but apps will be not. So, you need to download self from site. Viper4android 2.5.0.5 apk.
Done.

If u are on AOSP Oreo like I am,
Root it using magisk
Then download viper magisk mod n flash
Then boot up n enable viper
Also I tried ARISE mod n it's working great..but flash viper4android magisk mod first n then arise
Is there a way !without! Magisk? Cause I prefer SuperSU and I don't like/need Magisk.

mine is also not working
Can it be that Oreo have some kind of more security, that makes it harder to modify and making audio stuff to work, even in permissive mode?

Use Arise+deuteronomy aroma installer and install viper4arise it will work

just flash it in twrp and then use viper in magisk module now the real step goes on here
step 1 flash busy box module first in magisk
step2 flash both audio mods viper will be in magisk downloads search it
step 3 use se linux changer module to change it to permissive
step 4 then flash audio modification library
step 5violla u have both audio mods working
if you want to use both audio mods at a time power on both audio mods and reboot its necessary for viper to reboot
or if you want any one turn off other audio mod and enable one mod you want and reboot always reboot to get viper working
Anyone knows a Magisk version of this one. I am waiting for a stable TWRP version for the OP6.

Just curious, why is this necessary? V4A works with enforcing and I thought AML did too, so I'm guessing it's either Dolby Atmos or using them both at once maybe?

Dolby not working properly with enforcing i experienced it so for that only i included this step

I searched the Q&A Forum but I didn't found an Answer to my Question.
I tried V4A and another Sound Modul called Divine Modul and flashed it with TWRP but since I'm on permissive status I couldn't get both to work.
Please somebody give me a hint and a link for working Sound module writing on MIUI.

Now after updating V4A I get the Drivers installed but then it says to reboot.. And then see Screenshot...?

Yes I did and reboot. Nothing happens from V4A.
Alltough Dolby brings bet sound already alone.
Maybe just drop V4A?

Don't install manually , search in magisk then install, give permisions (volume + 3 times) then reboot. Search YouTube tutorial maybe can help you.

Lol everything good now Mate:good: With search option V4A didn't poped up in magisk.. I don't know why but scrolling down I find it and installed it.

Yup you can not use as same time there is one driver on your device so choose one of them .
Me some times use Dolby and some viper

Well everything is working so far I will be testing the xposed stuff in a bit I was going to a while ago but I completely forgot too

NFS worked on Oreo haven't tried on Pie yet...and yes I do update Magisk everytime one comes out

I installed Ainur Sauron and it seams like I have to turn of the built in DAC to make it work?! Can still use the built in EQ. I guess the volume is amped a bit but I'm not sure if the sound got better yet...

No sure about anyone else, but the "Disable screenshot and camera sounds" mod only works on the screenshot and not the camera for me on US unlocked Pie... Unless im doing something wrong...

Could anyone verify if Xposed modules still do not work with the more recent versions of magisk and EdXposed? I would like to purchase a v35 or v40, but only if I can get xposed to work. Thanks
