Hope someone can help.
I have been using the phone for over a week and last night i decided to give it to my girlfriend. So i wiped the data a factory reset it. I have been using the custom firmware. So upon the reboot it didnt boot into android. So then i reflashed the custom firmware in the custom recovery mode but then i lost access to the sd card and ext storage partitions....So i used the flash tool and obtained the original firmware but i get the same problem plus the camera no longer works.
The original firmware i flashed it is: 20120706_e1809c_v77_lx529_x710d2.rar but there is a newer one that i cant find called 20120713-e1809c-v77-lx529-x710d2.zip which im hoping will fix my problem

I'd like to install this newer firmware you just posted. But what are the differences between the newer one and older one?
Also to install do I just flash it in CWM?

Hello , I cant find the newest stock firmware for x710d. android 4.0.9 i see many links to taiwan101 but i dont know how to get past all the other languages. can someone please help me ?

If you install the Taiwan101 or this new official rom above, it will come up as Chinese as it did for me but it will auto update language to English at least it did for me.

If by LTE you mean 4g, no.

Where did you get the firmware from?
[SOLVED] I messed up my phone trying to play around with different firmwares. and well I didn't make a back-up, I need the Telstra branded version I believe is DVKF4. I managed to find a thread containing such files http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113928
but the links dont work. and my phone is stuck on set-up menu not allowing me to go further. can someone please send me the PDA, PHONE and CSC files aswell as the kernal. much appreciated

I googled the filename of the link that doesnt work on sammobile and first result works fine..

They didnt, did you actually read what I just wrote? lol.
Lets try again... I copied the filename from the url/link on sammoble and googled it and found a different link to same file.

I'm wondering this as well, since my phone no longer has an active Verizon SIM in it. Was hoping the update would show up in Kies so I could update that way, but it's still showing 4.3 as the latest. I haven't seen anyone post a dump yet that could be flashed with Odin. I assume this will be the "normal" way to do the upgrade aside from OTA?

You can use ODIN to flash it.
But sammobile.com not yet uploaded the firmware....waiting

It looks like the update is now on Kies 3 as well. I have my phone plugged in and updating using that method right now.
The SamMobile download works if you log out and then back in again.

Not really. I've tried logging in/out on multiple PCs v& I still end up with a 500MB download that is corrupt
The update using Samsung Kies worked great and only took a few minutes. Didn't have to bother with downloads from slow, unofficial sites - just plug in the phone, click update, and wait 5 minutes.

Appears to have kept the data yeah. I didn't have much on this phone anyway, but it didn't ask me to re-do setup or anything.

Yes, I live in Indonesia. I have been running the stock firmware for a day now and no update has come, but most phones don't get them here.
I meant should I have to flash the one from your other post first before this one or is it okay to skip the first in favor of the next.
You can flash this one and I will upload the next one once Xiomi push it. All this updates should be available globally, just they push them in batches to save OTA servers.

Yes the Mods need to rethink that policy when it comes to xiaomi ROMs because that is part of the official ROM from the MIUI ROMs from the phone manufacturer so it hardly seems we could come here for a stock ROM for our handsets as they are forbidden.

It is a warez app and has always been banned. Plain and simple. That will not change.
