Hey y'all....guess what?!?!?!? This ROM works perfectly on my Sprint sm-n900p Note 3!!! No extra flashing or APN setup necessary!!! I only flashed the ROM then GAPPS (I used open gapps nano fyi) and then supersu.zip. I had LTE, SMS, and MMS service IMMEDIATELY after the boot animation (slightly long on first boot of course since it's setting things up but faster restarts later) was done. As soon as the home screen/google account login screen appeared, I already had full LTE service. No extra APN fiddling needed. It's a true nougat based AOKP build and we have an official builder here. This is awesome news y'all! Show this dude some thanx!

Just an FYI, no need to flash SuperSU.zip. AOKP has su baked in already, unlike lineage. Of course, you can flash SuperSU if you want, I'm just letting y'all know it's not necessary for su.

Yeah, baked in su is one of the reasons I wanted to get AOKP working on hlte. You can bake su into unofficial lineage builds, but you have to set an environment var, and I always forget. AOKP always bakes su in.

Is it possible to replace SuperSU with Magisk? Can't imagine rolling back to the former, given all the perks of the latter. @shane87 Oh, and does the ROM support F2FS?

@kkslider1 this rom doesn't use SuperSU. It has the su binary included in /system and uses Privacy Guard to manage su requests. As far as magisk goes, I don't know if magisk works with su being included in /system. To the best of my knowledge, magisk is a systemless root, with the boot image patched to include su in the ramdisk. As far as it working on a pre-approved image, I'm just not sure.
As far as f2fs, the support is built into the kernel. Beyond that, I'm not positive.

Thanks @shane87 , you are a hero among the N900P community, as we have been stuck on Marshmallow for over 9 months. Would you be willing to reach out to @trader418 and @haggertk to help them implement N900P cellular data support for LineageOS?

Umm, I'm pretty sure that N900P cell data works just fine. @javelinanddart has one in his hand, is a maintainer, is on a Sprint prepaid mvno, and has full cellular connectivity.
Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

@kkslider1 cellular data support for N900P, like @haggertk already mentioned, should be working just fine on lineage. To bring AOKP to N9005/N900P, I literally just had TeamKang fork the cm-14.1 branch of hlte, and changed all lineage references to AOKP, and fixed the dependencies files. I've made no changes to cellular data settings at all

Update
So I have been trying to bring more s-pen support to AOKP Nougat. The s-pen currently works as a stylus, but there is no support for using the stylus to input gestures like you can on stock. Lineage recently merged a few commits to implement stylus gestures into their trees, and I have been trying to cherry-pick those over to AOKP. I've got the changes to CMParts pulled in and merged, and everything still builds. But when I merge the code to actually make the gestures work, it breaks hlte builds. On doing some digging, it appears our framework is missing some commits that lineage has merged. And I'm talking a large number of commits, going back a couple of years. With everyone working on Oreo bring up, I'm just not sure if we can get it straightened out for Nougat. On the plus side, the commits are there for Oreo, so adding stylus gestures for Oreo should be a cinch, once we get Oreo going that is. Again, NO ETAs!!!

Thank you the Rom. I would like to give you a paypal thank you. Is there a link.\?

That is something you would have to ask the devs over at viper4android. That is a 3rd party add-on, and we cannot guarantee support for it. I've personally never messed with viper4android.

Q&A
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why don't I have root access after installing OmniROM?
A: OmniROM does not have an official, prebuilt root method yet, so you'll just need to flash SuperSU in recovery and you'll have 100% working root access. SuperSU can be found here: SuperSU
Q: Where is <insert feature here>, like CM/AOKP/PA/etc have??
A: Omni is still very early in development, but moving at an incredibly fast rate. New feature, bug fixes, and device support are added just about daily. Check it out here: OmniROM Gerrit Review for the latest and greatest
Q: How do I start/stop screen recording?
A: Volume UP + Power will start screen recording. Simply drag the notification bar down and click the button to stop.
Q: HALP NFC doesn't work!!
A: We know.

I've had Omni on my flo for a while now and love it, I got excited when I started seeing jf come up in gerrit and was wondering when this day would come. Thank you for working towards supporting this device!
edit
Just did a fresh install of this ROM. Couple issues I've already come across..
My screen after a restart won't go to sleep after the specified time or by pushing the power/sleep button.
Not sure if this is related, but I have enabled active display and got an FC error upon my first notification and had to battery pull.
Update: After turning off Active display I can now put my phone to sleep without issue.
So... I've read the 'this is what custom roms should be' press release three times now, and I still have no idea what differentiates Omni from other ROMs. Is it a custom interpretation of AOSP code, like Cyanogenmod, or features ladled over Cyanogen code, like most other ROMs? Does it offer any of the fiddly knobs of Paranoid Android, or is this going to be a feature-avalance like AOKP or PAC?
I know things are still early days for Omni, but what am I looking forward to when I flash your ROM?

OmniROM is based on straight AOSP code, if you look in the source on github, you will see that VERY few repositories are actually forked from AOSP at all (put external in the search bar for Omni's public repos). Omni is designed to have many features and options that are all able to be toggled by the user. Omni is about choices, and giving the end-user the choices to make the ROM function the way that THEY want it to. 99% of features added to OmniROM come with a toggle to turn it on or off, hence "choices" :good:
The changelog pretty much gives a breakdown of all the features, because since the first 4.4 build, i did not make any releases until we fixed some major issues. This ROM is just about 100% stable. I say "just about" because if I reported my actual experience, which is literally ZERO issues, on nexus 5 and galaxy s 4, people would hang me and start bombarding me with "well what about this error I have that no one else does".
Best advice, make a backup and flash it. if you don't like it, then just restore your backup. no harm no foul. but i'm willing to bet you stick on this for a bit. There are a ton of features that are unique to OmniROM that other ROMs do NOT have.
also, pretty HUGE status update will be coming tonight (hopefully) as well
I'm freaking stoked I've been wanting to try OmniROM!

I've been hoping that someone would bring this over to us so I could try it out. Been running it most of the day today with almost no issues. Haven't really had a chance to play with it a lot, but so far it's been pretty solid. It did lock up on me once when switching to ART (using the Banks gapps), but after reflashing with PA gapps and sticking with Dalvik I haven't had any issues. Battery life is solid, and having the extra kernel tweaks with the built in kernel is much appreciated. Looking forward to the updates, thanks!

No, Xposed Frameworks mods will be up to the user to install and implement as they see fit. Generally, I think Omni has a fairly good amount of features already implemented, all with toggles to activate/deactivate, but as always, Xposed will be able to offer a little bit extra of things that we won't support out-of-the-box. I would be wary of using Xposed though, as you will need to ensure that the mods you are installed are updated for 4.4 Aroma will NEVER be implemented into OmniROM source, as it is not 100% stable and is not supported by all devices that Omni supports, and therefore would cause serious, serious issues. I'm sure people will make their own kangs of this eventually and there may be one with Aroma installer, but this will not ever implement that.
Also, some things to look forward to in the near future:
Omni File Explorer - OmniROMs native root file manager
native root support (you will no longer need to flash SuperSU in recovery)
OpenDelta - Omni's OTA Updater
NFC fix *properly*
Multi-Window
a big surprise in the next few hours

I would be VERY cautious of using ART as of now, it is still highly experimental in AOSP source and google needs to make a lot of improvements before I would use it standard

They have the exact same base just with new stuff added on top for my builds so it *SHOULD* be fine, but I make no promises. When dirty flashing there is ALWAYS a risk to be had. I dont see any reason why it wouldn't work. Just be prepared to wipe if you flash and run into weird errors.
To be careful I would:
Wipe (/system, /cashe, /davlik)
Flash Rom and Gapps of your choice
Flash Kernel or Fixes you want (Many kernels dont work properly with vanir but I know uber does with the fixes I have made for it.
Reboot to system.

AOSP Kernels need to edit the Ramdisk in order to be used with vanir because it is a CAF-Hybrid. Uber has scripts that it runs when it is installed to make these edits, but MANY kernels do not. I find it doubtful that franco would. The main changes that need to be changed are the PM Drivers because the Vanir Kernel uses CAF one and AOSP use AOSP ones so you need to change where it searches for the PM drivers in the ramdisk.
If you run an incombaitble kernel your battery will drain to no end. if you look in the battery status it will say that the android system is draining all the battery by keeping the device awake. (Basicly the PM drivers arent running) The way to fix this is to edit the ramdisk. There are like 20 lines or so you need to edit. It can be done manually but you cant mess it up or you might get a bricked phone.
The uber fix I have listed fixes some audio bugs that uber and other AOSP kernels have with vanir. In short it is do-able to make franco combatible with Vanir, but the scripts aren't in place and franco would need to do or someone who wants to kang his work.
Any chance of getting disable power menu on lockscreen?

Check battery settings, power saving mode.
For AT&T I use LTE & 3G , when screen is locked battery savings is activated from 12 to 12 .
Just move the white button down one like @Williamsss said

Using T-Mobile and I double and triple checked the APN settings maybe something with the actual T-Mobile network

Not necessary unless there are firmware changes from CM12 that I'm not aware of. When I tested this ROM, I came from a CM12 nightly, so can't say. You could give direct flashing a try.

This is the 3rd time I've copy/pasted these foolproof instructions, and I'm sorry for constantly mentioning the people in these instructions, but you guys gotta have credit for the awesomeness. So here are the instructions~
Generally speaking, most custom ROMs are based on CM. READ: CyanHacker is OBVIOUSLY CM BASED.
And to not bootloop on CM12 or a CM-based ROM, you first need to be on CM11.
~Seeing as some of you can't get a working download on CM11, here's the working link (thanks @tingljjdehua!)- https://download.cyanogenmod.org/get/jenkins/90775/cm-11-20141115-SNAPSHOT-M12-ghost.zip
~Make sure you're on the latest TWRP Recovery (use 2.8.5.0)- http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/ghost
~SuperSU is always better than the built-in Superuser. Get SuperSU here- http://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip
~Download whatever Lollipop ROM you want that's compatible with the Moto X.
~PA-gapps are the best IMHO so here you go (thanks @TKruzze!)- http://forum.xda-developers.com/par...apps-official-to-date-pa-google-apps-t2943900
(I recommend using the Google Stock Package as the Moto X's system partition is able to take all of it in, which leaves space for user partition, but you can also use the PA-apps' advanced features to
stop it from flashing specific APKs. Just read all of it carefully.)
1. mfastboot flash the latest TWRP if you aren't already at that point. I won't help you on fastboot things as you should already know- look around in the forums for info.
2. BACKUP YOUR STUFF- don't want to lose things without being able to get them back, right?
3. Flash the downloaded CM11 snapshot.
4. Let CM11 fully boot and go through the setup screen- just skip everything and get to the homescreen.
5. Reboot into Recovery and wipe EVERYTHING- system, data, dalvik cache, cache, etc.
6. Flash your Lollipop ROM.
7. Flash PA-gapps.
8. Flash SuperSU.
9. Wipe cache/dalvik cache.
10. Reboot.
11. ???
12. Profit.
Hey @Quasar, I was wondering at what frequency would updates be built?
I know we all have busy lives, and there would be days with no time to manage any builds.
Well crap, I'm basically asking for an ETA. Haha.

Well, honestly, it was easier basing it on LS because most of the customizations were already present, but for 5.0 we decided to use a clean base so we can basically push out highly optimized builds with a few nifty features.

We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimizations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.

This ROM was tested under the following conditions:
1. Wipe/Factory reset
2. Flash ROM, Gapps, SuperSU, in that order
Any other conditions may cause problems
This is the first build, there may be issues that I didn't test for, but major functionality is OK.
@ZakooZ
Is it possible to use the latest 7-11-17 kk_bl.img with this rom? It is from mosimchah from his AICP rom and includes the latest changes. I would like to give Paranoid a try but as you know I'm still locked on the old bootloader.

I highly doubt it
I just made this: PA_KK_BL_kernel.zip. Try it, flash after rom+gapps and before supersu. I haven't tested it so I can't guarantee it does work.
Okay, guys!
Short review!
I've tested the rom for a few days now and so far it is rock stable. All works fast and smooth and battery seems on par with AICP/LOS/RR.:highfive:
I'm missing a lot of features like more quick settings tiles, more customizable navbar, statusbar center clock and so on... :crying:
It's almost like stock android with another browser, calender and music app and theming options, which I've not tried yet.
I know, it's an early build but I need too much of additional apps to get the missing features back, so I'll switch back to my prefered rom for now.
Maybe when more features are added and the rom is more like PA in 2014/15 was....but it is a start!:good:
ROM Looks Tasty
I'm always up for a port that tries a new direction and this seems to do that. All my tests with new ROMS is always full format and wipe, running current stable TWRP, LP BOOTLOADER, etc. It looks like this work runs plain Super SU without Magisk, and you indicate open gapps. Could I use magisk at all? And I find the BEANS Gapps to be more reliable.
Not to pry, but where are you focusing now for these versions? Are you still going to keep up with the big changes that PA brings, or work further with Oreo developement?
Either way, I'd like to give this one a run just for fun.
Thanks as always for your work that keeps my tabs, and my wife very happy. ;DeanoD

I missed something here; I have Prime kernel on all my units. Is it essential to switch to the Lineage Kernel that you provide? Always curious about inter-compatibility with such things to keep it working well.
With that said, I need an updated to my TWRP version. In which order to flash TWRP, KERNEL, ROM, AND SUPERUSER. (Or TWRP, ROM, MAGISK- or is that asking for trouble? Thaks again. ;-DeanD
Solid ROM. Nice, Simple, Clean
I flashed this ROM last night, and so far, I'm very impressed. While it lacks some of the bells and whistles from the RR build, it has a solid feel to it. Speed and performance are great as well. Other than a slight keyboard lag, this could work well as a daily driver on my stable of three smp600 units. I started with one, found one online when my wife wanted one, and then I got another for backup (and tinkerin') . While the ROM flashed perfectly, the suggested kernel was a bust. But, the build is I think more robust than the other's I've tried. I do miss having a recents menu, and I haven't been able to find any pie controls. I'm glad that I was scouring the forums and found this gem. Great Work! ;-DeanoD
"Official Devices"?
I'm interested about the improved pie controls listed under the features of this ROM.
I could not find them. I'm guessing that my smp 600 is somehow not an "Official Device" for this ROM. Just curious. ;-DeanoD
With all apparent development at a standstill for all of there great ROMS from the crew here at XDA, I suspect that there are others like me who are having withdrawal symptoms. Dare I say that XDA further spoils us because we reap the benefits of ROM developments A LOT faster here than we would otherwise get from the OEMS. I still cringe when I see an ad for a "new" android device running VERSION 5! Then they put so much effort into the next new devices.
All I can say or offer is my sincere praise for the people here BEHIND the ROMS. But, can anyone PLEASE offer some glimmer of hope that all is not completely dead with our SMP600 just yet. And, if anyone needs testers, I am ready to run with any of the roughest draft ROMS. This one seemed to start with a great starting point and then just stopped. Any news at all? ;-DeanoD
So far I like the ROM it feels solid. I use my tablet for drawing mostly and I'm finding that palm rejection is not working. The apps that I use are Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and Adobe Photoshop sketch. Anyone else seem to be having this issue?

Yeah, I'm also having the same issue, on stock palm was rejected when the pen was recognized, that doesn't happen here unfortunately. Couldn't get my LeftureNotes app to work no matter what I chose for palm rejection. Otherwise great ROM!

Proper Issue Reporting
Make sure you are seeing the issue on a CLEAN install! If the problem pops up after a dirty flash, wipe data/factory reset and see if it still happens before reporting it
Make sure you have not flashed anything extra, such as 3rd party kernels, SuperSU, Magisk, Xposed, etc. These extra packages can cause their own issues. As above, try a full wipe and then only flash the ROM package and Gapps package, and see if the issue persists before reporting
In your report please include the following:
Issue you are seeing, and how to recreate it
Logcat/kmesg from right after the issue if possible
Build date of ROM you are running
Gapps package you have installed

Finally....To test it !
Aaaaah - Exactly what I was looking for - my perfect rom - testing v soon.
And to people wanting a 10 version of this. How about we wait a month or so until Oneplus release the official 10 and base the 10 AOKP on that!
Well I can't get AOKP to start up - coming from OOS 9.0.9
I get the AOKP spinning logo but it reboots after a while and goes into TWRP every time.
I have tried formating and wiping everything and just intalling rom and latest Pico GAPPS
also tried with install Rom, unsu.zip and Magisk 20.2 then Pico GAPPS and still no dice.

Hmm, that's odd. I don't have an OP5T to test on myself. That is what my OP5 was doing before we got selinux straightened out. The only way I could get it to boot then was with selinux permissive. One of our other guys has an OP5T, he said he would take a look tomorrow.

Alright guys, as I said, I don't have an OP5T to test on, and, up until the time that I launched this thread, I had solely been maintaining OP5. I was not aware that our OP5T trees were WAY behind lineage. I am in the process of getting those trees updated, so hopefully we will have this issue squashed in a day or two. Please bear with me. I will post again once the updates are pulled in and we have builds based on those updates.

Yes I am [I hope Substratum commits are working as it is very important for my eyes!]

Cool. I'll let you know once the upload is complete and it's available. As far as substratum, all aosp-based pie ROMs have substratum support, it was mainlined in Oreo. I use substratum myself on the OP5 AOKP pie builds.

New build is up at the download link in op. Please test and let me know as soon as you can.
In regards to the previous question that you answered being Los base things would work better and be more stable if you used your own base most are going that route now being there own rom solely based on Google not another rom just a thought as some of us have already done ..
