Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Very good ROM

I know, there is a VoLTE settings. You will find it on AOSiP. I will remove those settings soon.

Thanks for this rom...everything is working perfect..except charging led is not working and I noticed that boot time is bit more than the previous build?...and one more thing I found is that options inside Status bar settings are empty..otherwise this rom is too good?

Yes, because it's still in beta stage
More customization coming soon...

Is it possible to deactivate the navigation bar in this ROM? Oreo broke the build.prop "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" command, so systemUI repeatedly crashes after that. (On all ROMs I've tried so far, at least)

Is this ROM compatible with MicroG?

Similarities to Xperience ROM
@Xaif Is this ROM somehow similar to the Xperience ROM? I'm asking this since you and @sskr_ are the contributors to both the projects and both ROMs are having similar versioning scheme as well (The 8.0.0_r32 bit). So I'm in a dilemma in choosing which one to flash. And just out of curiosity, why is this AOSiP 7.0 and NOT 8.0? Just a typo in the title or does it mean something more?

Power of battery charging don't show ?
Overall Very nice work brother ??? :good:

1. This is different ROM and There are more customization as compare to Xperience ROM.
2. 8.0.0_r32 bit, This is not a bit. This is the release version of Android 8.0.0. Release version of 8.0.0 is 32.
3. This is AOSiP Version 7.0. There are different versions of the ROM. If you have used AOSiP Nougat then the version is 6.0.
4. This is Android Oreo ROM and if you love customizations and AOSP ROM. You can flash this ROM on your phone. This is completely different ROM.

Hello! I see in AOSIP G+ profile "CAF based rom". Will you build CAF version too?

Well, back to the ROM ...
Tried this with mini gapps and it's running great, very smooth & fast. Only slight minus I've noticed is camera focus is a bit dodgy (works some of the time but not always) so may still need some fine-tuning. I really like stock ROMs with Xposed and this is almost as good with advanced boot menu and similar custom settings. Am also rooted with Magisk 12.0 which seems to work fine. Using fingerprint gestures with hidden nav buttons seems identical to Moto stock. Has May 5th security patch. Color balance is as good at default (checked it with Display Tester app) as stock was only after adjusting w/KCAL on a custom kernel, so maybe it's been built in. Nice work, OP!
Just flashed and got everything up and running nice and easy. Had a weird issue on first boot, camera would take one picture and freeze. A reboot fixed it. Great work thanks for the ROM
Does the camera have an updated lineage?

On first boot I kept hitting the button but it wouldn't take even one photo, so I also rebooted then it worked. Is auto-focus working consistently for you? If I focused around inside it seemed fairly responsive, but when moved to the sunny window it wouldn't quickly adjust to see the outside, but eventually did by tapping the screen. Doing the same maneuver with stock camera it handled the transition easily/quickly. Need to try it out more to make a fair assessment.
@Danielikto - in settings/apps it says 'Camera' version 2.0.002 org.cyanogenmod.snap' if that helps.

Still can't get OK google to work. Everything else is great super smooth. Tried beans gapps and open gapps.
The boot animation isn't fullscreen. That's just aesthetics, not an actual problem can be easily changed, but... still, pointing it out.
Why isn't Google Camera included? It's much better than Snapdragon Camera... Any particular reason?
If anybody's looking for a really good nougat ROM...

Yes this ROM is awesome. ? now let's contribute to its growth.
Things to note after running for the past 2 days.
- AMOLED Black theme with white accent, some text ( in the uninstall option is not visible) see screenshot.
- Smart Pixels causes lag for me 75% and below. 88% seems less stuttery. Turning off removes device lag and stutter. I know DU 12.3 just merged new commits for SP.
- At boot the device makes a chime noise before the going to the lock screen during the boot animation. (minor nitpick)
None of this should impeded anyone from trying this awesome ROM.
That's all I've got so far as a bug report. Thanks again @camcory ?
Well, almost every single ROM is using @camcory device trees for shamu. So if you want the rom from the developer that every1 else is using, you should use this one .
Thanks for reopen aosip thread again :good:

Thank you very much for your excellent work!!
Little question/request. I translated the missing strings in crowdin to german and downloaded the xml-package (attached-file).
Can you please include the xml-files into the next build? That would be great for german users ... thanks in advance :good:

Does this rom support "one hand mode"?
Flashed June "test" version, seems to work fine with Netflix (I've managed to play two 1 minute sessions) without a single problem.
AOSiP as always, fast and fluid...

I also updated couple of hours ago though the updater without a problem...
The only strange thing for me is that the updater says June 9 although the downloaded zip is 0610.

Official weekly is stable. Sometimes they add new features and labeled them as beta.
My favourite ROM so far. Has the right amount of customisation and polish. Have a few suggestions -
1. Please include more options in accents. I miss a true red accent (I think it's hex ff0000). Or maybe even add the RGB accent POSP apparently has..?
2. Please add fingerprint unlock after reboot.
3. Blacklisting apps for pulse doesn't seem to work. I've had pulse even for notifications sometimes. When I play music, pause it, and then use YouTube for instance, YouTube still activates pulse, even though I have blacklisted it.
4. Screen recorder please.
I just want to let the developer know my deepest gratitude for taking care of notch settings the way its done here (and in regular AOSiP). It's the best I've seen. I hope this ROM gets regular updates, because this is the best for my needs.
Man please add pocket Detection lock, my phones screen is just too sensitive, it skips the music tracks even in pocket
I'm experiencing Signal fluctuation... is there anyway to fix it?
Thanks
Sorry ?

Its early to say, but i didn't encountered any.
Its fine for daily use.
ROM runs smoothly on 2/32 Variant, i'll use It as daily use
Some apps that needs nfc crashes, but it happened to me on all tested Android 10 roms
it's running pretty smooth on 2/32 variant
RAM management is better than the majority of the ROMs I have tested
but there is a bug (maybe only for me) I can't send any type of media on WhatsApp
it says "file format is not supported"
and it happens in some apps too...
I started to try AOSiP 10.
There was no major problem and it feels like runs very smoothly.
HW: XT1685 (4GB/32GB)
Gapps: open_gapps-arm64-10.0-nano-20191209-BETA.zp
Magisk: Magisk-v20.1.zip
Works fine:
Bluetooth devices functions (Jabra Headset, Shure RMCE-BT2 Audio Headset w/aptX HD audio codec)
GPS (quick positioning)
MotoAction(Device Gestures, fingerprint sensors)
LTE Carrier Aggregation(with + indicator) and VoLTE(no icons on statusbar)
NFC (IC card reader)
Gesture navigation(System Navigation)
Doesn't seems to work:
Ambient display (in MotoAction, Pick-Up, Hand-Wave)

-Updated to January patch
-Features are starting being added
Firstly, I say "Thank you" for providing the new build.
and Welcome back "owlsnest".
tonight I started to try 20200120 build with OpenGapps(20200116, nano) and Magisk 20.3.
it seems Ambient Display will works fine.
I will try it carefully for a while now.
thanks for the new build
i've been using this rom since the first build
awesome rom!
Reinstalled the latest build with Official OpenGapps (nano, released on 20200123).
I thought I might not have the ability as a tester....
I couldn't find any problems. It is extremely stable and has no problems in daily use.
It may be different from what the AOSiP10 caused,
The Application(that leave an icon in the notification area) gets location information every time,
Location icon repeatedly showing and disappering in status bar area.
This event was not seen in Android Pie.
FM Radio Missing
Radio Missing,
Altough Battery Friendly ROM, & Performance SmoothAF.
