@Adi.sharma Thread closed and prefix "Development" removed for that it didn't qualify. In addition to the XDA Forum Rules, to which you agreed to adhere when you registered on this private website a few days ago, review also the sticked thread that should have been read prior to any posting:
Device Forum Rules (Please Read before Posting)
In this thread, we will provide a short Q&A for your stay on this forum. Please read thoroughly and act accordingly. While most that is needed to know is pointed out in the Forum Rules, history shows that some points of these rules are not...
forum.xda-developers.com
Additionally, I removed the reference to social media. As an exemption from the last bullet of rule no. 5 of the XDA Forum Rules, we grant only developers the privilege to provide references to their social media in their own development threads. These conditions obviously don't apply to your thread or you.
Please refrain from sharing social media links in future. Thanks for your cooperation!
Spoiler: Rule No. 5
5. Create a thread topic or post a message only once, this includes external links & streaming media.
As a large forum, we don't need unnecessary clutter. You're free to edit your message as you like, so if you do not receive an answer, revisit your message and see if you can describe your problem better. Not everyone is online at the same time so it might take a while before you receive an answer.
You can bump your unanswered question once every 24 hours
Duplicate threads and posts will be removed
Always post in an existing thread if a topic already exists, before creating a new thread.
Use our search function to find the best forum for your device.
Links to an external source are only allowed if relevant to the topic in hand. A description must be included, no copy & pasting from the original source.
Self-promotion is forbidden, this includes blogs, social media and video channels etc. Random links will be removed.

How to programmatically block YouTube content

There are many parent control apps eg famisafe out there that can block videos and channels on youtube app in addition to other things.
I want to build a similar app but I dont know which api to use. Can someone please point me in right direction?

@iamecstatic
Please read the guidances that are stuck on top of every forum prior to your next posting like
Note: Questions go in Q&A Forum
If you are posting a Question Thread post it in the Q&A forum. Technical discussion of Android development and hacking. No noobs, please. Device-specific releases should go under the appropriate device forum...
forum.xda-developers.com
I've moved the thread to Q&A.
