Bootloop in recovery mode - Volume down stuck - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,
Here's my first message on the forum ever and i'd have liked it to be for another reason but that's a call for help.
I just got back from my sister her OnePlus X that she dropped into the pool hoping that I could fix it for her.
The phone is stuck into a bootloop in recovery mode. I tried to install the latest official rom, wipe the cache and data and also reset factory the phone, nothing does.
Actually i found out that if i were not trying to start the phone for some times (count it in weeks) it would start and will be working just fine.
Until it powers off. As soon as it is off, the bootloop starts again.
I think that when she dropped it into water it might have oxydated the volume down button, which is not working anyway and controls the boot into recovery.
Do you have any idea on how to unstuck this button or how to prevent the phone from booting into recovery while the volume down button is stucked.
Thank you in advance, and while waiting for your answers, i wish u a pleasant day all.
Valentin

The temporary solution is this:-
In recovery before hitting boot system, just press your volume up key. The phone will not boot up. Now press power button for 10seconds and then once you see oneplus logo hit volume up.
You will see normal boot screen.
Mind that during entire process the volume down button was continuously pressed. I would suggest you to take phone to nearest service center.

Boot loop bricked?

Alright, im not entirely sure what im dealing with here. I recently flashed the newest viper 1.2.0. Everything flashed fine, no problems. Then when i go to change the font, and the device tries to do a hot reboot, it gets stuck. Theres no way to power it down, or restart it, because long pressing the power button does nothing, as well as pressing both the power button and volume down. it just sits there stuck in the boot animation. no matter where i go, i cant seem to find anything about being absolutely stuck in boot loop, maybe you guys can point me in the right direction? its been stuck in boot loop for 30 mins now
It will take a while holding down the power button , Keep trying , Mine did the same thing and I just kept trying the power button and it finally took . Hope it helps , All isnt lost yet .

[Q] Help! stuck with wired pic showed on my phone when trying to reboot

Today I was going to reboot my htc one m8. But something bad happened.Help! stuck with formatting/cache... when trying to reboot. And I have been stuck with this for like an hour...
Then it restarts and the text disappear. Only a picture of small phone with green circle is on my phone. I can press volume+ and power to turn it off or volume- and power to restart it, but the small phone comes back every time. I don't know what to do...
please help me out....T_T
Is the phone stock, or any mods (bootloader unlock, root, etc.)?
Green circle is stock recovery. You can press vol up+vol down and power to get recovery menu options, but not sure anything there will help you.
You can likely RUU to get back up and running. But personal data will be wiped.

Help stuck in white boot logo

Ok so i rooted my phone i format him and when he restarted it's stuck to boot logo but the lockscreen works and everyting and there is only home button and back button. How to hard reset the phone ? I think it's not bricked, there is no welcome Setup
Well, to hard reset the phone, its simply hold the power and volume up button, and may I ask how you rooted your phone, just need to make sure you did it correctly
If you can get into bootloader (I think its power+volume up) you can use the volume keys to navigate to factory reset, and press power. Rooting your 610 with windroid is the most easiest, I recommend you trying Windroid root tool. It flashes a recovery and roots
volume down and power button when phone is off.. if the phone wont turn off volume button up and power button for around 10 seconds
hope this helps

Can't enter recovery on Archos Platinum 50c

My brother fergot his password and therefore I need to factory reset the device using the recovery.
However, Volume up+ Power doesnt work for me, screen just goes black for a few seconds and it boots normally.
Anyone facing this issue too?
I have the Platinum 55d but...
I had trouble getting into recovery mode myself and this might help you.
Press and hold the power button and shortly thereafter press and hold the volume up button. Wait for the brand to load up and let go of the power button.
Wait for the android to show up. If it doesn't and the phone starts up normally, take out the battery and try again.
Once the android shows up hold the power button and tap the volume up button.
Same problem

Btw sometimes it hard to boot into recovery so i use xposed to do that.

HELP! Blue Wave 8 33GT tablet stuck in recovery mode with "No command" message

HELP! Blue Wave 8 33GT tablet stuck in recovery mode with "No command" message
I got my Blue Wave 8 33GT (not HD+) tablet completely bricked. First of all, I know this is not really a popular device and some of you might not have a single knowledge about this one, but I hope in any way you might help me get this device working again. Thank you in advance!
Some info about this device:
Bluewave's website: Wave 8
Android OS version: 4.4 KitKat
Device processor: Rockchip-based (RK31)
What just happened? It suddenly reboots while I'm playing and gone into recovery mode with an Android and a "No command." message. Now it won't boot the system anymore whenever I reboot, it always going into this recovery mode.
It has no volume buttons, just a reset, a hard back button and power button. Holding down the power and back button goes into the recovery mode directly. Through normal boot, it flashes the Bluewave logo twice then goes into the recovery. While the reset button immediately turn the device off. There's nothing else I can think of that I can do in this case.
My laptop can recognize it as an ADB Device in recovery mode and I think I may be able to flash it via Rockchip BatchTool, but the instructions I've read states that the device should be up and with a USB debugging enabled which I am not currently able to do in recovery mode. Device is rooted and working totally fine until this happened.
Anyone got into this kind of problem and able to go through it? Please, any help is greatly appreciated.
P.S
Just let me know if there are any additional info I could give you.

Hey! Thanks for your reply and time.
I tried every combination of either of the two keys but there is no such recovery menu showing up, and I am pretty sure that this device doesn't have a built-in recovery for factory reset.
If only I could go to its download mode stuff to be able to flash the firmware...

"Long press the power button to restart the device. If restarting fails, hard reset the tablet by poking the Reset hole using a pin. " it is from FAQ
maybe this could help.
1. Press the power button to get the option menu for
Power off
Reboot
Silence phone option.
2. on that menu you have to hold down that power off option on your touch screen while also holding down the home push button on the side of your tablet.
3. This brings up a screen to reboot into safe mode..(these are the 3 steps the company does not tell you that is why no one gets it to work.
4. HIt yes for safe mode and then hold down your power and home buttons on side of tablet till the dopo Logo appears.
5. Release both buttons and hit the power button one time and then hold only the home button down till a menu option appears.
6. Use the home button to move down to factory reset and press the power button to select. Once it says complete then use the power button to select reboot.
Problem solved. Hope this will help everyone out.
The only way is to remove the battery, attached again the battery then power it on their is no hard reset on blue wave the go to settings factory reset
