sorry its been awhile since ive messed with putting anything custom on this phone, the last time was in october and the twrp i had was all screwed up and i spend a day and a half fixing my stuff, i found it though thanks.
Question though, i want to do a backup.... the options for that are.....
system
system image
data (excl. storage)
cache
boot
recovery
frp
persist
EFS
system data and boot are automatically selected, is there others i should select? i know this probably isnt the right place for this but i know theres someone on here who's gotta know, thank you very much

Thank you

ROM is good but I was unable to get Magisk to work.
I wiped and restored to stock QI3 and tried to flash it but it says my boot image has been modified.

OK did it. For anyone that wants to know:
1. Take a backup of ROM in TWRP.
2. Download stock image (in my case latest version QJ3 works) & unSU.zip & magisk zip
3. Boot into recovery
4. Flash unSU.zip
5. Wipe system, data & caches
6. Boot immediately into Download Mode and restore to stock using Odin and then reboot back to Download Mode and flash TWRP
7. Boot up once and go through setup & then reboot back into recovery
8. Wipe system, data & caches again
9. Restore backup BUT DE-SELECT BOOT.IMG
10. Flash unSU.zip one more time
11. Boot back into rom and make sure that it's not rooted and phone/data works
12. Flash Magisk zip in recovery
Thanks again for the ROM

Thank you very much. The rom works just fine

Xposed on lollipop 14.5.A.0.242 without bootloop

Hi,
This is the way to use Xposed on lollipop 5.0.2 (14.5.A.0.242) without bootloop on Odexed Rom.
No need to wipe cache and dalvik on every boot.
Tested On 6802 with locked Bootloader.
instruction:
1- flash PRF 14.5.A.0.242 with dualrecovery & First boot.
2- reboot in recovery and Wipe Cache and davilk,
3- flash this files from this topic.
4- Reboot into system, Install the .apk of Xposed for Lollipop
5- Reboot again in recovery and just flash the .zip of Xposed.
And now, no bootloop after each reboot
Thanks to @xander59
Source
I can vouch this method works very well but I needed a lot of stuff that was deleted. So after you flash the firmware, dont boot but use a recovery file manager. Manually delete folders of most apps listed in the same thread as OP posted. and make sure you reboot after every install of an app and xposed module for first 10-20 times. In this way, you will know what you just installed that gave you boot loop and you can just delete the file through recovery instead of restoring nadroid backup. I have nandroid backup ready just in case and sometimes just installing two apps from play store gave me a bootloop and when i installed the same apps after a reboot of each other, they worked fine. Anyone wondering the apps were maps and gmail.
Yes, now with the discover of @ondrejvaroscak here, it's probably more safe to delete the apps that you don't use instead of remove all the apps of the script

I think that generally safe is also using the debloaters or debloated ROM that guys made, because these are thoroughly tested. Its more matter of preference. I made my research just because I was curious about what is behind bootloops..

Port rom... you have very bugs. But, to port rom: https://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Doc:_porting_intro
Ideally you get a ready-rom, like the settings of your device and change.

The only thing is that I can't get xposed installer to work properly. When I install it (v86 sdk23 arm) , every time that I tap on recent apps button, system ui crashes, so, I flashes the Uninstaller zip, and everything went well. But I miss xposed, if anybody has a solution, I would appreciate it

Maybe the problem is not xposed itself, maybe the issue is related to an specific module. I'll try one by one tomorrow and see what happens, thank you!
Just delete the . rar part. This one worked for me I think your right though maybe bad file.

I know what the problem was. My xposed zip was correct. As I thought, it was because of a module. "Android N-fy", in recents, I just had to uncheck quick switch and change no recent image and that was it. I don't know if that module is optimized for this oos especific build, because in settings of the phone, the module does not change as much as in lollipop oos. Thank you tho
I have latest official TWRP rn on OOS 2.2.2.. Should I just flash(dirty flash or clean flash after wiping) it normally? or revert to stock, flash the ROM and then use fastboot to flash recovery by bluspark?

Make sure you have both .zip files on your phone, clean flash 3.1.1 then boot it up. If you don't like it, you can go back to 2.2.2 via stock recovery anytime. You don't even need twrp unless you want to root, install Xposed or backup.
might be a bit off-topic but...
i was coming from sultans cm13 build - flashed stock recovery - wiped system - installed the community build.
So far so good
System works fine, but wifi drains system like hell (37% usage)
So i installed bluespark twrp and wanted to wipe cache & dalvik/art at once
-> initially i got an error -> "can´t mount /cache - invalid argument" (or so) - tried only to wipe cache and then it worked on the 3rd attempt...
But - after restarting only 12 Apps are "optimized", altough i have 100+ apps installed.... so i expect some filesystem/partition issue
Did you ever have this behaviour ?
I´m thinking about to do a full wipe in twrp and reinstall the community build -> other suggestions ?

Sounds like you forgot to wipe data. Wipe system, data, cache and just flash 3.1.1. As for wifi drain it's not real and happens when you have wifi scanning on under location. Turn it off, reset network settings under backup/reset. Now reboot and should be gone. Turning off and rebooting might be enough but doesn't hurt to add network reset. Next cycle after reboot and full charge should be clean.

It's not the place, but I can confirm that it didn't work for me. I still have the drain from time to time.
And if I don't have the Wifi drain I have a service Google Play service drain (33% for today's charge for example...).
And sometimes, I even had the wifi drain with Wifi completly switched off...

[Q] STUCK at cyanogenmod logo

Ok , Im running CM 13 i9300 and it worked so well except the camera. I always got the error "Can't connect to camera" . So I was trying to fix that problem and I found couple of solution . The solution need an app that requires SuperSU permission . And It was kinda weird because there's no "permission asking" popup from SuperSU. So I open SuperSU and it told me to update SuperSU binary file. So I tried to update it and it failed. So I tried to update it manually but I found other thing which is to flash the latest version of SuperSU direct from chainfire website. I deleted the old SuperSU (The one that needs to be updated) and I flashed the new SuperSU zip and wipe dalvik cache through my TWRP Recovery and then I reboot my phone . And got stuck at the Cyanogenmod Logo . So what should I do to get my phone back to normal ? I mean back to CM13 and everything I have before. PLS HELP
Note : actually , after I flashed CM 13 . I dont have the SuperSU in my apps . So I manually downloaded it from the playstore . It's weird because it should automatically be there .

I seriously dunno about the root access at the developer settings . Now my phone is soft bricked and I'm gonna lose all of my data. Any clue on how to reflash the CM13 without deleting my stuff?(factory reset)
p/s : Yes , It's in the Developer settings
Boot into TWRP and reflash the same version of CM that was on the phone before it soft-bricked.

Should I clear data , wipe cache and dalvik , factory reset all that or just go to TWRP and just flash
You could just flash over the existing ROM without wiping. If it doesn't boot, wipe cache. If it still doesn't boot, wipe data and cache.
