Ohayoubaka, just wanted to say a big thanks for making all these themes for us. If it wasn't for you Sungstratum wouldn't have much themes. Continue doing what you are doing we appreciate your efforts.

I love it. Definitely gonna go for the donate version!
One question though, do you know if you can do something about the padlock coming from the Smart Lock feature (trusted places in my case)?
I'm going to use it with the clock, so it's less of an annoyance, but it still looks weird there. For testing purposes I installed all 3 overlays for Nougat.
Thanks!

No this is the source code. You don't need it.
To install go to Google play and install all three of these apps(in this order):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=projekt.substratum
Then open this app and it will promt you to install a plugin for Samsung. Either Andromeda or Root [FOR OREO] or Sungstratum [FOR NOUGAT].
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ohayoubaka.transparentlockscreensamsung
Now again open Substratum found in your app drawer and you will see the theme there. Then click on it and select the options that you want, then click the button in the bottom right corner and click install. It will promt you to install some packages, just click install on all of them.

HAHA i personally used this app to get White on AOSP. LOL
I'm currently making a "support package" for specifically the settings app, itll make the icons down the left black, so itll work with holo light background
Do you, BTW, want white icons down left?
teaser of the new support package
Buddy already happy as it is. I like all black . No need for more white.
Maybe a button apply to all wild be nice . (With a big warning if something should go wrong)
And somewhat an icon next to the program which setting is applied. But as said. Happy already. Millions thanks

I see, for App Monster (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.android_telefonie.appmanager) it does not work.
Maybe you could change the UI a little. I think there are 2 kind of people: Preferring dark or white. You could set this with a global option, and then just tick an app to apply. An long touch/extra button could be used to (re) start the app to test it.
(Then it does not matter that the UI does not load the preference which theme was set)
Btw, the portal content suggrstion does not work because the captcha piucture does not show. Maybe a mod like @GermainZ could repair it & report this module

The reason I'm reluctant to add a "make all dark" or "make all light" button is because there is almost certainly an app you do not want to be dark/light
Like browser for example will mess up
So will whatsapp
YouTube
Plenty others
What portal content? What capcha? Sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about!

You probably want to hook setTheme as well, some apps will call that in their onCreate method (after your hook, effectively making your own call to setTheme useless.)
You might also want to look into hooking ContextThemeWrapper instead of Activity's onCreate, but I didn't look too much into that.
Samsung TouchWiz features tabbed settings, so theming it with this module cut out part of those tabs, looks weird.
Wow man, thanks you SO MUCH !! Like you I dreamed about an holo light settings app. So much better that way !

Out of curiosity how do you get my source? Or did you guess what I did?
I'm hooking Activity.class onCreate
Before hooked method I'm setting the theme to whatever user selected for that app
Ah I've just re read what you write and I understand now. Thanks I will

Hi! Most of you probably know me from my Project Infinity ROM on the same forum. I have now decided to start releasing some of the mods that I have done or am planning to do seperately so that they will work on any Rom! All of them are being done and tested on the latests version of my rom (G900TUVU1ANE6) but since most of the S5 apps are extremely similar, they will most likely work on any S5 device. I will post under that mod if one is confirmed to not work on a specific device. All of them are flashable unless otherwise stated. Some of the mods may also be updated individually with more features in the future. If I do, I will post a changelog under that mod. If you have any requests, I am always open to here them and will do my best to fulfill it. All the mods are either in or will be in my Project Infinity Rom. Enjoy!

TouchWiz Launcher ModDifferences:
-Added pullup (pull up from bottom of screen to launch favorite app, disable in settings)
-Added built in theme support (now accessable from launcher settings)
-Enabled app list view
-Enabled Folder Hovering
-Now you could use more then one line in folder name
-Disabled help text on empty pages
Download:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358548976
Themes:
It includes built in theme support now.
Instead of trying to include some random open source themes etc. It is much easier just to post links to some directories of themes!
Each theme is just a simple apk and can be installed just like any other app. Once its installed it will show up in the theme chooser in the launcher settings.
I have tested some of them just to verify that they do work with the launcher. Obviously I am not responsible for the themes since they are being developed by individual devs.
Best Theme Resource That I Have Found:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711245
I will try and update as I find more or contribute in the thread!
Screenshots:
Popup DisablerDifferences:
This is just a simple mod to disable the annoying battery cover and charger port popups for
those on a stock rom. Should work on both deodexed and odexed roms.
Download:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358548989
Sound ThemesDifferences:
Some sound packs that I have pulled from different devices to change the overall
sound themes.
Download:
AOSP - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358549020
HTC - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358549022

Xperia - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358549023
Dark AppsDifferences:
These are the heavily requested dark apps from the international devices. This is mainly for the USA variants as they come
with a light themed dialer and mms app. Note: it appears that by using the international mms, there may be an issue
with sending mms when used with wifi calling for T-mobile users.
Download:
Dialer - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358549034
Messages - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358549033
Screenshots:
Accuweather Widget ModDifferences:
This is a small edit of the stock Accuweather mod to unlock the dev mode options. This allows you to pretty much turn on and off anything
in the settings. Any other dev can feel free to use this as a base to edit and theme. I will perhaps eventually release other versions with
some images and other minor things change.
Download:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358550809
Screenshots:
Dialer Tone SoundsDifferences:
This is the first of many sound themes for the stock dialer. The touch sound (which is usually the annoying ripple sound) has been changed with
a slightly more pleasent touch sound from the iPhone. If you have any other sounds that you would like me to change the dialer too, please send
them to me and I will be more then happy too.
Download:
Stock Dialer (white) -
odexed - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358551150
deodexed - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358551149
Ultimate Messaging ModDifferences:
This is the Ultimate Messaging Mod. So far I only modded the stock T-mobile (white) Messaging app.
I might consider doing the international (black) one later on.
- Displays Sent Time instead of the received time
- Raised recipient number to 200
- Increased Hourly Send Limit to 1000
- Increased MMS slide limit to 1000
- Enabled Emoji support
- Enabled screen on/off toggle
- Enabled settings for signature
- Enabled Vibration options
- Enabled Group Messaging
- Enabled Save/Restore
- Enabled Scheduled Messaging
- Increased recipient limit to Unlimited
- Enabled split view mode toggle'
- Might be more coming!

Confirmed that sound mods fail on flashing here with TWRP. I usually unzip and copy sound files to my ext SD card so not a big deal. Just that UI sounds need to be done manually. Now a MOD that would access system sounds for installing just like ringtones or Notifications would really be awesome.

There are screenshots in the op. Just go to the home page of the launcher, put your finger all the way at the bottom of the screen and pull up. The same way you pull down the notification drawer but from the bottom of the screen up. It will launch an app called pullup, just select any app that is listed and from now on that app will popup when you pull from the bottome of the launcher upwards.

That really wouldnt be a mod but there are many apps on the play store that can do that for you. With the Galaxy S5 it does mount storage much better than any of the past devices. I personally dont think that its neccessary to mount the device as a storage device anymore unless you have a specific need to.

[MOD][Xposed] Statusbar Gestures - Launch apps and shortcuts from the statusbar

Hello
This Xposed module allows you to add various gestures to your statusbar.
You can either launch an app or a shortcut. This is interesting for stuff like Tasker-actions for example.
Supported gestures are:
Tap the statusbar once
Double-tap the statusbar
Tap and hold the statusbar
Swipe left on the statusbar
Swipe right on the statusbar

Nice module, good job.
A few notes
-the app list needs time to load but you are not showing a loading icon. At first I thought the app was broken, but when I clicked 'launch app' a few seconds later it showed up.
-why are you using gingerbread drop down list?
-if you don't need the v4 support library (which is included automatically) you should remove it and your app size will go down by 200 kb
Looking forward to the shortcut option.

-i know it needs some time to load. mentioned it in the OP. also the app list is not yet sorted and stuff and basicly just ugly.
i will rework that soon. as this is just a preview, i didnt focus much on the settings activity yet.
-i thought they might look a bit better, but if people hate them, i will change them
-thanks, will do that

-sorry I was in a hurry to try the app I didn't read the OP carefully
-it looks better, but the orange glow looks bad
And I forgot I'm running PA 4.43 (Android 4.4.4) on galaxy s4 i9500
Also why don't you use a preference screen and make each one a list preference? (PS it's now deprecated but works)
I would like to see this being developed further hence I've purchased the donation package on Google Play.

When I disabled your module, there is no haptic feedback but once enabled the haptic feedback is there. Anyways great job man!

Did wait for a few seconds? After 10 seconds the list loaded for me. (after the 10 seconds you have to choose a different options for the list to load)
I love your module. It would be super awesome if you could add some in-app action of your own; like scroll to top, page up/down etc.

You'll only be missing the ability to turn off haptic feedback for now.

Since Good Lock looks like it's been silently discontinued (no word on an update for Nougat to this day), I've taken the liberty to replace it with this, revamping the SystemUI with AOSP-style icons (and some extras).

This is the first phone I haven't rooted on day one ever, starting with the T-Mobile G1 and have had 10-12 smartphones since then. It's so awesome to be able to make the phone yours and not lose samsung health, samsung pay and a lot of extras. Thanks again for your work.

awesome! how do i get those dark notifications
Works great on my S7 edge. I recommend Roboto Condensed for the clock.
I'm also using SystemUI Tuner (app on Play Store) that lets me disable stuff like bluetooth and volume icons.
It seems to glitch on my end. When I choose the QS icons and install/reboot, the icons come out small and close together. When I install the QS icons without padding, the icons are still small, but really far apart. Any fix?
I could attach screenshots if needed.
Congratulations mate!
Glad to see it here, Keep it up with this fresh start. :highfive:

The QS icons size is smaller than stock, that is normal to fit AOSP's quick settings icon size better.

Black theme

I tried Swift Installer from the play store to try and get a black theme like I have on my Note 9. It works well. Keyboard does not them and email crashes if themed but all else works so far. Including quick settings and notifications.

The issue with substratum is that u need andromeda for non rooted devices and for that u always need to connect it to a damn PC.
It would be nice if someone can port the sammy theme app to this device and then you can build ur own theme just the way u like it with ThemeGalaxy.
Anyways I like swift dark over black.

Well I needed that for my note 5 and on my note 8 before a working custom rom was released for the note 8.
Maybe its different from device to device but I wasn't aware swift team made an installer. This installer is great and worked with no issues nor hassle so far.

Just use swift installer as OP has linked. Using it and it's very nice if u r into the dark themes.
Just a heads-up that taking the new OTA while having System UI moded with Swift will cause System UI to crash repeatedly after the OTA installs and reboots. It's not the end of the world though, as long as you can run Swift Installer (I was able to get Nova Launcher's app drawer to open, but YMMV with other launchers). You'll need to uninstall System UI in Swift, and then you can install it again. Note that you'll have to swipe/tap away the pop up saying System UI has crashed countless times, but with minimal effort, you can fix the issue, and after a reboot, you'll be up and running again.
