Android Auto on a Rooted S5 - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

Has anyone been able to get Android Auto to work on a Rooted S5? If so, how?
T-mobile SM-G900T running mostly stock 6.0.1, rooted using the Root Guide in the General section of this forum.
Thanks.

Magisk Manager for sure!
Enable Magisk Hide (a dozen settings down)
Class settings, swipe left panel, click Magisk Hide.
Tick boxes for any apps you want hidden from detection...
If still doesn't work, then click Hide Magisk Manager. No reboot necessary. It will reinstall itself with random package name. Enable Magisk Hide and any other settings.
Test it again.

Snapchat account locked on rooted S10

Hi
Got my S10 one week ago. Rooted it right away because i wanted to enable "dual-sim + sd-card mod".
After one day my Snapchat account got locked for 12 hours by Team Snapchat.
Somehow Snapchat had discovered that I was running modified apps.
So after my 12 hour ban I checked the settings in Magisk Manager. I "root-hided" for all google services and Snapchat.
Also afther this 12 hour ban I started to boot up my S10 the without root/combination key/recovery.
But now, two days later, I got a new ban from Snapchat .
What to do? I'm so confused right now.
This did never happen on my rooted and modified Samsung Galaxy S9+. Is there something I am missing in my S10?

You haft to Uninstall repo /Xposed installer because snapchat is really sensitive on Xposed!
That should solve the problem!

Follow these steps to use Snapchat with magisk -
1.) Update to latest Magisk stable build v20.0 - https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/v20.0/Magisk-v20.0.zip
2.) After updating magisk, Go to Magisk Manager > Magisk Hide and check/enable Snapchat and Google Services (all services have to be marked).
3.) Hide Magisk Manager by it self, go to Magisk Manager > Settings and "Hide Magisk Manager" so it will repack Magisk Manager with random name.
4.) Delete "busybox" binary from /system/xbin directory and install BusyBox module from Magisk Manager > Downloads.
5.) Clear data and cache of Snapchat, try to login this time, it will work for sure, if it doesn't, login to this and click unlock my account - https://accounts.snapchat.com/accounts/login?continue=https://accounts.snapchat.com/accounts/welcome
I have tried this myself and it works, my first main account was permanent banned on magisk canary build, After that I deleted that account :crying: and started out with fresh new account.
Tested on -
Samsung Galaxy S9+
Rom - Ultimate Rom v11.3
Magisk - v20.0 (Stable)
Kernel - ElementalX

Magisk

Hello friends I installed and rooted my phone by magisk, but some apps like Samsung pass, secure folder, Samsung flow don't work on my phone now. it says your phone is rooted the app not run for security reasons. I checked the app in magisk hide but the apps still not work, any suggestions?
on Magisk setting click " Hide Magisk Manager "
also add the apps that detect root on "Magisk Hide"
also you can try downloading Magisk Module that hide being rooted it might work

eToken BCR

Hello!
I'm trying to make the eToken app from BCR work, but I can't find a solution.
Right now I am running Magisk 21.4 with Manager 8.0.7 with LineageOS 17.1 I have to specify that I am using an Xiaomi Mi A2.
If anyone has a solution for this, would youmind helping me.
Thank you!
Hey @HellFire_Wolf ,
Just fixed today try and follow below steps.
1.restore magisk manager with original package.
2.disable hide app.
3.reboot.
4.rehide magisk manager.
5.rehide app.
6.reboot.
It works for me now, OnePlus7T Pro
Now I see the comment.
But do you have a custom rom?
Atm I'm using dotOS
No, the stock one, rooted, and Magisk as a SU
Dh magisk hide works to hide the root on a strock android but for etoken to work it says you cant use root, unlock bootloader and use custom roms. So I hide bottloader and magisk, but what about the othwrs
I haven't used custom rom's, so can't help you more.
I sugest to get the RootBeerSample app from playstore then hide root in Magisk, then check what is detected.
Also double check that you hid magisk from system, not only root from apps.
It changes the app package to a random one and hides some specific checks that most apps use to check for Magisk.
Ik about magisk hide but didnt know about the app. I'll try it Thanks!

Hide or Disable Root?

Hello, since my AOK Bonus App has recently stopped working because of ROOT, I wanted to ask whether there is a way to hide root or to temporarily deactivate it? I have root with magisk on it.

A few things to try:
In Settings menu have you enable MagiskHide. If so turn it off then on again.
In superuser menu - MagiskHide do you have the app turn on.
In Settings menu have you tried to hide the Magisk app.
Clearing the apps data and cache might help.

Detected root even after passing safety net in android 12

Hey guys,
I'm using Magisk 24.3 with Pixel Experience Plus Custom Rom in Poco F1
My Banking Apps and Games keep Detecting Root and shutting down even after passing safety net.
I tried normal Configure DenyList for Both Google Service and the Banking Apps.
I tried Universal safety net fix Module.
I tried new Shamiko Module ( this supposed to be better than Magisk Hider! ) .
I tried Hiding Magisk App.
I tried everything out there !!!
Is there any other solution that you might know ? then Please Kindly Let me know.
I'm trying to work around this for 3 Days straight with 0 sleep.

This issue does not seem to be device-specific but rather specific to the Magisk root provider and the related root detection avoidance systems.
Perhaps try asking in rooting-specific sections of this forum.
In some apps I found freezing the Magisk Manager app helped besides the measures listed in the OP.
Edit: After switching to crDroid from Awaken the situation is much better.
Had the same issue with my banking apps until i found out apps called hide my applist and LSposed, i cant remember what i did, but i wrote it up on my desktop. I can share it with you, if you are still intrested of giving it a try.
