Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3 screen pattern locked - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
So my problem is that I've recently had my old Idol 3 screen replaced and noticed it's pattern locked and I can't for the life of me remember at all what the pattern to unlock it is.
So my question is, is it possible to unlock the screen through sideloading an apk or something else that forces the lock off?
Or is there some other method I've not found yet..
Phone doesn't seem to have USB Debugging on, already tried through ADB and I can only sideload through it, for every other command it just tells me "error: closed"
Any help would be appreciated, I'd rather not lose the stuff I have on the phone by having to do a factory reset

[Q] Lost lock pin

Hey!
Changed my lock screen pin today, but apparently entered it wrong (twice?) so it wasn't what I thought it would be...
How do I go about unlocking it? I really don't wanna reset the device or install a new rom!
My Galaxy Nexus is rooted, I have gmail pw, ADB access and pin code...
Please help fast!
Thank you
if the phone still has access to the internet (wifi or data) then once you try to enter the lock pin incorrectly a few times it should ask you to login with your gmail password, which should then unlock the device allowing you to change the lock pin.
Failing that there are methods involving adb, do a search on google as I think some people have unlocked it using adb.

[Q] Rooting Alcatel One Touch 991

Hello,
I own an Alcatrl ot-991 and I need to root it. First about the phone:
It runs 2.36 stock gingerbread and is not rooted.
It has no more warranty and I need to root it to remove the sim lock.
By mistake I typed in my sim pin into the field where the sim unlock pin should go in too many times and now I get an error that the sim slot is permanently locked.
It's the old phone of my mum and I can't really afford another one right now.
Here is what I did already:
Installed official Alcatel USB drivers on my PC
Tried to root with srsroot (not at home will post logs later)
The programm started the adb server, recognized the phone, something about root kit 2 and then started trying out 4 roots, but none of them worked.
Also I tried to root it with gingerbreak directly from the phone, the programm started, I clicked on root device and a message popped up that said rooting device, this may take some minutes. Nothing happened even after letting it run for 30 minutes.
Please help me! I'm desperate. I basically walk around with an iPod touch by Alcatel.
Thanks in advance
Edit: I also started reading through the how to root Alcatel ot-991 thread in the forum, but the links are either dead or not helpful (like custom roms and stuff that I can only use after root)

Requesting for help with unrooted Vodafone (ZTE) Smart Ultra 6 stuck at lock screen

Hi all, I have an unrooted Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 smartphone (manufactured by ZTE) running the original stock ROM (Android 5.1) and USB debugging is believed to have been disabled. The phone boots up to the lock screen as normal which uses a gesture pattern. For some reason, one of the matrix's dots that is part of the pattern to unlock the phone became "unresponsive" (part of the touchscreen is broken?) and I have not been able to complete the pattern's path, therefore the phone remains stuck at the lock screen. I have tried to use ADB to remove the "gesture.key" file but was unsuccessful because of the phone's unrooted nature.
Is there any other way to bypass the lock screen? Thanks in advance.

Forgot pattern sequence on G5 SE h840. Is the a way to unlock?

Hello guys,
first of all sorry for the dummy question, but I don't know how I can solve this problem. so...
I have changed the pattern sequence of my phone with a complicated one. when doing that, I saved a screenshot of the sequence but, instead to put it to the sd card as a though, the phone saved it on the internal memory (damn!).
After some days my phone has been restarted and now is asking for the pattern that I have forgot because I used to unlock it for days via the damn fingerprint!
I tried via google to unlock the phone with no luck.
There is no developer mode active on the phone, and when I connect an usb cable I can't put it to usb mode because it asks to put the unlock sequence.
Is there a way to unlock the phone or a way to get the screenshot from the internal memory? obviously I want to avoid to hard reset and lost everything.
I think hard resetting from recovery menu is the best possible option. I don't think there is a way to bypass the security honestly. I'm sorry but I think that resetting is the best option here
if you could bypass the pattern there wouldnt be any point to having the pattern in the first place. everything on your phone is encrypted. the pattern is the encryption key. just ask the fbi how upset they were about this.

Forgot pattern and secure boot

Hello,
I am really dumb and changed my phone pattern yesterday for one that i found fancy on the moment trying out different pattern. Well i forgot it.
I have a One Plus 6t and it's stock rom and locked bootloader, it does have secure boot enabled and it's encrypted.
Is there a way to unlock the phone without wiping data ?
I have access to my computer, the phone have adb enabled and the computer is administrator for the phone.
I can't have access to anything because i did restart it and now it doesn't unlock since it's encrypted.
Anyone have been in the same situation and found a workarround ?
I have some really important data inside that phone that are stored nowhere else.
Thanks
Note:
Connecting to PC and launching adb, it seems like it does take the command, is there anything i can do from there ?
lot of permission denied and 'adb locksettings' doesn't work
If there was a way to access the data without the password/pin/pattern, that would defeat the whole purpose of secure bootloader and encryption.
So no, there is no known way of doing this.
