Of course, bro!

Any other files to flash?
Thank you!
I am new to xperia. Here are couple of things I need your help with.
I rooted my phone and installed FTF from Pandemic's thread - [FTF][G82**][V2]Android Oreo 8.0.0 + Root, Drm Fix, Magisk + Deodex Patch & Addon
Do I just flash your FTF using flashtool? Do I also need to flash drmfix, boot.img etc?
Sorry for these beginner questions.

No, You don't need Flashtool, You already have Recovery which is TWRP, all you need to do is look for a Good ROM, I see alot in Xperia XZ forum. Existens is a good ROM, Im using hes rom on my Z2.
Lets say you have chosen a Good ROM, You copy the ROM to your Device or SD Card and enter recovery (TWRP) then Flash the ROM and Other Stuffs!

No, only for Xperia GO
I will repack it propertly tommorow... thanks again!
Root it with Bin4ry's backup/restore root kit. Install CPU Master, set both the speed bars to 1GHz, choose performance, apply. Then reboot. Might fix the issue.
I already did that but for temporaly only, it eats battery a lot

Buddy:
- root and unlock your bootloader
- download CM10 for nozomi
- open the zip file and take the boot.img from the zip (this is the kernel with CWM)
- put the rom in your internal memory
- then do this:
if you use windows xp or vista/7 you have in accesorries CMD program. Run it and type:
cd \
cd flashtool
cd x10flasher_lib
NOW connect phone when you hold Vol UP and type:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
- restart the phone and when you see the logo start clicking vol + to enter CWM
- wipe data, wipe cashe, wipe dalvic cashe
- install zip
- wipe again and reboot
- enjoy

The nightly builds have many bugs & they are not so stable...
But the stable builds don't have that much bugs... It is always preferred for everyday use..

Cwm is the short form of ClockWorkMod.
It's a recovery software for android phones.(as u can see BIOS in pc. Not exactly but that's the them.)
It comes with custom kernels. For devices with locked bootloader u hav to install it separately.
Press thnx if I helped.

So, if my device is already unlocked i don't need to install separately?

Of course it's deodexed. Look in System/app or System/framework. If you find .odex files a rom is odexed if not is deodexed. I personally deodexed with a kitchen tool

Yeh I can see how the C4 folder could cause such a lot problems for C5 owners
If it works on the 5.1 then it will work on 6.0 (Rooted) It will never boot on the 6.0 Stock.
Sony ROM's don't do kernel version checking like the standard Mediatek ROM's do.

Its not like your twrp port has problems, but its kinda annoying to me saving files into c4 dir and new ui looks lovely to me
yoho :fingers-crossed: lol hehe
the new one will be TWRP 3.0.2-7
This is a test kernel compiled if anyone can test please do test it Drive
This is a zImage or boot.img-kernel you need to unpack your boot.img and repackwith this
EDIT: TESTED IT HAS BUG
Friends, why does not this recovery run on android 6.0? https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzygkfkwTgZ-d2xwTTdlR2NfSlE/view
gsser said:
Here is the newer twrp recovery, for 5.1 or 6.0 if you use @bigrammy s recovery, taking backups saves it to c4 folder. This will save as c5 with a brand new ui
