Bootloader Unlock Account on Huawei - Honor 5X Questions & Answers

everytime i try to create an account on Huawei for the bootloader unlock, there is no option to choose USA or country code +1....
anyone?
i have the KL24

i have fixed my issue using the DC2 unlocker
used Paypal to pay , total was $4.89 USD to DC2 unlocker site took less than 10 mins
however anyone having issues with installing the drivers on Windows 10 can use the search button in the driver box to find the drivers and manually install
just install all 3 android devices that show up in device manager with Android Bootloader driver.
i have unlocked my Honor 5x KIW-24 in 30 mins .

Thanks a lot

Getting 50 % error even after applying 2 months ago

Hloo everyone. I applied for bootloader unlock on 21-6-2016 and received confirmation message on 24-6-2016. But I didn't tried to unlock my bootloader for 2 months. Now , after 2 months when I am trying to unlock, I am receiving the 50% error. Can it be because I didn't tried for 2 months. If so then should I apply with a different account? Or should I wait for some more time?
I am using MIUI 8 6.8.18 Beta.
it might be related to a driver problem, install mi pc suite , then with the phone plugged into usb boot into both recovery and fastbook letting the drivers install both times, then try to unlock again.
i tried what you told but still getting the error
I possibly remember that it had to be done within 30 days, however, do not worry, you may wish to try the unofficial method.
One thing you could try is to uninstall all drivers on your PC and then install Mi PC Suite which has all the necessary drivers. Also you can try with the SIM with which you obtained permission inserted in the phone.
As for the 30 day period, it is there to prevent bulk unlocking of phones by resellers. Using your account, you can unlock one device per 30 days.
I m getting same error and stucked on 50% too. But i did some steps and everything gonna fine
First go to mi cloud find device on pc and remove all other xiaomi device.only leave the device which u are using.
Now try to find your device. If it is working then download a global devloper recovery rom and put it in your device in root storage
Now backup everything on your device
Now go to miupdater app in phone and install the downloaded global devloper rom
After successful installation login your mi account which u have permission
And now just after 20-30 after u logged in your account to the phone. Boot it into fastboot mode.
Connect your device with pc with original data cable
Open that unlock tool
Login your id which have Permission(both ids must be same phone and tool ids)
When phone connected click on unlock
And now it will successfully unlock your phone withot error
This worked for me at 100% success rate.
Follow steps on your own risks.
Tell me for any help.

[an all fix for bootloader unlocking issues] on 3s/prime/3x

Please kindly refer to the thread and read the details steps and instructions because it seems like everyone is trying to hit the unlock procedure without knowing that the stable(global) version of the ROM is not apt for the official or any unofficial unlock procedure !
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DISABLED DRIVER SIGNATURE VERIFICATION IN YOUR SYSTEM.
Unlocking Bootloader Procedure:
1. Download zip file (recovery file) of OFFICIAL MIUI China developer ROM for your device :
http://bigota.d.miui.com/6.12.8/miui_HM3SGlobal_6.12.8_b00ffce744_6.0.zip
Please don't get confused with the link as it's indeed a Developer ROM by 'global' in between the link and not the Global stable ROM, you can check it yourself.
Other ROM would not work. Then put it into phone storage. Go to Updater app, press the three dot on upper right corner, and select 'Choose update package'. Choose the zip file you just put in phone storage. The update will wipe all user data, please make backup beforehand.
2. Log into the Mi account which has acquired unlocking permission on your device. Make sure it's the same with the account you sent your request. It's recommended to connect to the Internet for Mi account to sync
3. Turn off your device, press the Power button and Volume - button at the same time to enter bootloader mode
4. Log into the unlocking tool on PC with the same Mi account. Connect the device with the PC using USB cable
5. Press 'Unlock'. The unlocking process will complete in about 10 seconds
For those who already bricked your devices you may using Mi PC SUITE to reflash your device. You are advised to download it to install necessary files (ADB and so on) .
Hi... as far as i know.. you need to be on the same rom from which you have applied for bootloader unlock..
i bought new redmi 3s last week.. and same day applied for unlock... and when going through different threads.. lot of people saying that we need to be in developer rom or Chinese rom to unlock boot loader..so i downloaded global developer and installed it..
with in 2 days i got confirmation from xiaomi that i have permission for unlock.. to my bad.. every time i tried to unlock boot loader its stuck at 50% with current device information is different error..
so finally decided to downgrade to the same version from which i applied for unlocking.. so tried Deep flash cable method to put phone in qualcom loader to bypass bootloader... and installed same global stable version.. after successfully installing stable version tried unlocking.. and voila... bootloader unlocked with in 10 Seconds...without any hitch...
So if you want to unlock bootloader... wait for atleast 7 days after you get confirmation message from xiaomi...

Yes, glad someone else noticed it too. Yes I had trouble for a lot of days with developer ROM after getting permission a week back but no luck.
PS: Disabling Driver Signature Verification is paramount in this process.

BOOTLOADER UNLOCK advice

I have applied for the Bootloader unlocking permission and I got the confirmation in the same day.I am running a developer rom and My mi account is signed in both pc and Note 3. Cloud backup and Find device is also on. OEM unlock and USB debugging is also on. I went to developer option and tapped on MI UNLOCK STATUS and did ADD ACCOUNT AND DEVICE, it says that account and device is successfully bind. uSB drivers are also installed But when I try to unlock via MI UNLOCK TOOL, it always gets stuck at 99%, saying that ACCOUNT IS NOT BOUND TO THE DEVICE. Please advice.
Wait a couple of days Xiaomis servers need to update
After bind you have to wait 72 hours for the servers to update
Go to developer options lock status and press bind account wait 72 hours and try unlock again

Bootloader code generator for Huawei Nova 2i (Mate 10 Lite, RNL-L21)

Hi dear enthusiasts, I'm making a bootloader code generator script, based on sorinbotirla's script, link: Bootloader Code Generator for Huawei P20 EML-L29. I know that the code is 16 digit. So, there is some questions:
1. Someone, who unlocked RNE-L21's bootloader, ask me please, is that code starts with 15 (15XXXXXXXXXXXXXX) or not? If you can give me next digits (3rd, 4th).
2. How can possible to get bootloader unlocking code, using only IMEI code, as it do DC-Unlocker? If there is very skillful men, ask me please how it works. It is connected to some calculations and formulas?
3. How I can disable device reboot after 5 wrong keys at command fastboot oem unlock? If I run sorinbotirla's script, 3-4.5 seconds need to reboot again to rescue mode after 4 attempt (1 code in 1 second). If disable this it would be very faster.
4. How works USB dongles, that can get bootloader code. I don't have any skills on dongles.
5. Can adb's source code answer this questions, or bootloader code check is based some server, because on console adb writes FAILED (remote: check password failed!) or FAILED (remote: device will reboot after 30S due to 5 times of wrong key.). I checked that, it does not connected to internet, but what is that remote thing?
The script is generated ~40000 codes in a day. I also modified the script with randomized generation.
I emailed to Huawei support ~5 times, they not giving me the code, even when I said that all responsibility come to me, not the company. DC-Unlocker and such things I will never use, because first it is paid service, why I should pay to something that can do almost every Snapdragon-based phone (correct me if I wrong), even I unlocked my Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 525, by the way you can change firmware without rooting on Windows phone. it comes that Windows phone is more free than Android (or for sure Huawei devices). And second, it turns out that bootloader unlocking is Mafia, Huawei is not giving that, instead of that "third party" companies giving that for fee, but if thay can get the code, why I can't? It turns out that these companies are partners of Huawei.
So, if I don't unlock the bootloader, this phone always will be on Android 8.0, and there is models that even not updated from Android 7. Also I don't like EMUI, I want more stock Android than that. The device is good, but firmware and software not.
What is difference between Huawei and Apple? The both locked his devices, but Apple at least giving users new versions for 5 years.
What is difference between Mate 10 Lite's firmware and OS, and Lumia 950 XL's firmware and OS updates? If you think that Windows 10 Mobile is dead, then EMUI 8 is dead too, except for apps. Because Windows 10 Mobile stuck on 1709, and my Mate 10 Lite is stuck on EMUI 8, but my Lumia 950 XL at least gets 4 feature update, while my Huawei gets 2. And Windows 10 Mobile will get cumulative updates until December every months, while Mate 10 Lite's last security update has been on April. And I like Windows 10 Mobile more than Android or iOS.

Huawei P Smart 2019(POT-LX1) Bootloader Unlock

Hello Guys!
So, I have a Huawei P Smart 2019. And I just can't get it to unlock the bootloader after weeks of research. I downgraded my Huawei from Android 10 and Emui 10 to Android 9.0.1.152 via Hisuite Proxy.
I bought 7 Dc Unlocker Credits and tried several times to read or unlock the bootloader code, but I always get Unsupported (Unknown Chipset)
Hcu I've already tried it several times, everything has no success .. Does anyone of you have tips?:crying:
As far as we know, Huawei has blocked the ways to get the unlock code, for some time ... if you don't already have it, you can't get it at the moment.
What about this method that makes use of the testpoint?
Article: https://www.mobilerdx.com/2021/02/huawei-p-smart-2020-test-point-for-remove-user-lock-frp-and-flashing.html
You can unlock it via HCU (the only way rn). You need to buy license, enter testpoint (via DC-Unlocker or disassembling) and unlock it using HCU. It will cost you 19 euro.
