What's the best Android 8 ROM (Is there any stable)? - LeEco Le Max 2 Questions & Answers

Hello guys! I'm using RR Android 7.1.2 ROM right now and I think it's the time to get Android 8 Oreo. But I have now experience with any Android 8 Rom so I want to make some questions to you guys.
1. Can I use an Android 8 ROM for my primary phone? I'm asking because every ROM is on Beta version.
2. Can I disable Hardware keys and Enable NavBar? That's the reason I use RR Rom.

The only solution I know is to flash something other than CM Based roms , so basically it's either stock or LOS 14.1 Based ROMs.

Thanks for the ROM. It's smoother than most of the other ROMs I tried. I can't install Instagram for some reason, it says its not compatible on the play store. Apk for it works fine though.

Update your Gapps package to the latest version for ARM. That might fix that problem.

New build is up! Should have taken care of the NFC issue.
I don't see the new build. Still shows Oct. 11th upload date. And all mirrors show the 20181010 build?
I prob won't flash it since I don't use NFC. And EVERYTHING is working perfectly!

Try this. I had to search for it too. Was on his Dev profile
Always been a fan of OmniROM, glad to see it made it's way to the Shamu. Nice work!
Any screenshot?
My cell data works amazingly with this ROM! I can send MMS in seconds. And it shows LTE on the signal bar. Haven't seen that in while.
It was horrible on pie. I missed an important text yesterday on pie. That was the last straw!
I am on Tello which uses Sprint.

I've successfully rolled back 3 times using this method. I have to note that the custom rom must use a pie vendor for the sensors to work on rollback. Last time i downgraded, it was april i think, pixel experience was still using a pie vendor.

In my case Widevine L1 was preserved. However i strongly suggest checking detailed guides before attempting to downgrade.

Hello, version 5.2 is out, be patient .
Yes, your data will persist, but it's recommended to do clean flash because of many changes to source and new api for OTA updates.
That's all I know about it, I'm not interested in testing the new version. It's very nice ROM, adds new features inspired by Android 12, with the gaming mode etc., on the other hand, it's just AOSP with all the known bugs.
Thanks.
