Hello I have fire TV stick first generation, is American fire TV but I live in Mexico, if I try to load Spanish audio or subtitles they aren't displayed but I downloaded the Amazon prime app in my phone and I can see these options available...I cannot update my fire TV stick my software version is fire is 5.2.1.0 (550145120).
Can someone help me upgrading my firetv stick . Or should I forget about it?

I bought a Fire TV Stick with an HDMI to VGA Adapter. Now when I start the Fire TV it says "Out Of Range". I already changed the resolution to 800x600 for testing but with the same Error.

i would like to ask a support for this device "TANIX TX6S Allwinner H616 4gb/32gb android 10".
Amazon video was not in the firmware and installing it i have a strange problem when i launch any movies.
As soon as I open a movie few seconds later the movie freezes and returns to the main page of prime video.
I have already update new firmware but problem still appear.
Seem that prime video app does not work... Could you help me?I try several apk version without success...

I see that the chromecast with google tv 4K is similarly priced if not better priced as chinese android tv boxes.
I bought chinese android tv boxes because of their prices in the past and I am in search for a new one. I am currently using a fire tv 4k (the old version) but some high rate 4k movies struggles with it (streamed from my plex server) and I don't like the restricted fire os (the version I have can't be rooted) as some apps are not available.
I was looking at the chinese google certified boxes but then found out chromecast with google tv is similarly priced.
Are there advantages of getting the chinese android tv boxes vs chromecast with google tv?
