if you're into world records, then this is not for you, I just aim for a stable day-to-day use kernel with a pack of punch when needed..in short this is a well balanced kernel..

Thx for ur reply
Ur kernel is the best. High benchmark scores and long battery LIFE.
This Multicore rocks on 2.53 GHz
Notorious and iron kernel performance is way lees even on 2.8 GHz.
Thanks for this kernel.

Flashing your kernel upon another one, does it make residue left? And does it make performance glitch?

is it 2018?

A custom kernel requires an unlocked bootloader. We will not likely see that happen. Anyone who is capable of or has exploited the qualcomm secure boot or mbn or boot.img blah blah blah probably took the 2 million bucks Samsung offered them to sign the gag order and non disclosure agreement and hand over their work. Wouldnt you? all the dev will get for releasing a BL unlock on here is 15 minutes of fame and 10 grand in bounties.... if anyone even bothered paying what they pledged, which most wont.

As long as you are on a custom rom(5.1.x based), you can.
In short, sure yes, why not
I just flashed it and so far all good. Any difference between this one and resurrection remix kernel?
Also I saw that this kernel uses 2 cores when idle. Why?
One more question, what exactly is quickwakeup? Thx for ur time and sorry for too many questions.!

Hows the battery and performance...any difference with rr rom...
The performance is very good and I don't have random reboots. With latest rr kernel I had random reboots.i got almost 44000 on antutu. Also battery life is on par with slim kernel(rr kernel) So far so good.
Overall is good, but hoping to put more governor, scheduler and TCP congestion.....
I noticed that the LED notification is more brighter....
I have an issue. I can't install cm12.1 themes after I flashed this kernel. I tried several themes and I get failed to install theme... Anyone have same issue?

Funnily enough, neither can I. :/
It probably wouldn't matter that I can install a CM12.1 theme, as the ROM I'm on is Layers RRO only, which also installed OK.

Only semi-off topic as the ROM is one of Saatvik's and contains an earlier (less than a week) build of this kernel, so I hope that he doesn't mind the mention here.

Wrong....
the results are very consistent on our tests..2nd cycle ran 6hrs and 30++ mins SOT with 15% left..we just had to test another build which has an updated base (AQK7) but fairly, if that 15% was used, could have ended up with again 7hrs SOT..its no fluke..
also @ddee105 is a heavy wifi and data user...If we were to fake stats that would be ridiculously bullcrap..

Intelli-kernel for TW6.0.1

Intelli-kernel is designed for optimum user experience by focusing on speed and battery life without sacrificing stability in anyway. Uses Any Kernel method for maximum compatibility between different ramdisks
Note that I haven't added many features yet, but I will in the next few releases.
Things I will not consider adding:
CPU governors other than interactive
I/O schedulers other than cfq
F2FS support

I'm new to s5 development as I just recently bought a used s5. So I don't know the different variants of it. I'm currently porting los kernel without merging caf tags
Unfortunately, development stops here cause my S5's screen was broken due to car crash unless I find a very cheap display replacement anytime soon
Finally got a screen replacement. But to my dismay, it was a LCD rather than OLED display. Don't know how it slipped through
keep that great work!! you think that should work on genesis reborn Rom?
Add in kernel
I really really like this kernel, is one of the best kernels for tw roms, so please add 2 more thing in it:
1.KCAL (Screen RGB Control) would be perfect,
2.Fast Charging would be another good thing.
Please, please do this and upload the new version, because I love this kernel! Thank you!
