Nexus 9 does not boot, default recovery, boot loader locked

I am totally stuck: My nexus 9 does not boot anymore (actually it boot but I have a black screen with battery and wifi logo at the right hand corner.
I only can access the boot loader (fast boot mode) and the default android recovery which no allow me to do a lot of things...
I tried to download the Nexus Root Toolkit to try some fix but EOM is locked and adb debugging is not activated in OS (and OS crashes).
Please do you have a solution for me ? Thanks a lot...
Did this happen after an OTA update by any chance?
If so you could try the following: -
If you can get into recovery, you might be able to sideload the OTA again: - http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-9/help/failed-marshmallow-update-stock-android-t3226704
February OTA available from here https://gist.github.com/jduck/3ea03fb3ec1a55544842

If it was not from OTA update a factory reset might resolve your problems.
Thank you for the reply
I tried to download an update and transferred it via adb sideload, but I got the error "system partition has unexpected contents".
I also tried to do a factory reset (from HBOOT and from android recovery), but now the system crashes on the setup wizard.
I get "Setup Wizard isn't responding.", and "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped." and I cannot open settings, enable usb debugging and unlock EOM lock.

Any chance it is still under warranty? RMA it with Google/HTC (or wherever you bought it).
Yes... this is probably my last chance.. unfortunately
If anyone else has another solution I'm interested
Is it possible to install a new rom with adb sideload from the default recovery ?
Is there a solution to reinstall the original rom without EOM unlocked ?

Pls HELP: Moto E2 stuck at Bootloader

Hi there,
My moto e 2nd gen got stuck in bootloader and won't boot.
The monitor displays as below:
**********************************************
Start Up Failed:
Your device didn't start up successfully.

Connect your device to your computer to get the Software Repair Assistant.

In the Recovery Mode display, I see "qe 0/0" which I learned from the other thread that it means the device has never been rooted.
Below is how this happened;
I used the app called KingRoot.
But the app says failed to root the device.
My phone acted weird so I uninstalled KingRoot.
Then I tried to remove the .exe file of KingRoot but failed somehow.
Right after I just turned on some secure feature (which warns the user that the app may be harmful?) of the device, the device went black and displayed the bootloader screen.
Below is what I have done so far:
Wipe cache partition (successful), then Reboot the system (Failed)
Wipe data/factory reset (successful), then Reboot the system(Failed)
Apply update from ADB with the stock Rom I found in the [http://firmware.center/firmware/Moto...Stock/XT1527/] but received error as below,
***********************************************
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:footer is wrong.
E:signature verification failed.
Installation failed.
************************************************
Then, I flashed three image files (recovery, boot, bootloader) using fastboot command (without unlocking bootloader).
I did not use the bootloader unlocking command.
So I thought the flashing would failed but somehow succeeded only with recovery.imag.
I believe my device has never been rooted and the bootloader has never been unlocked.
Is it possible that KingRoot has modified some system files even when the device has never been rooted and the bootloader has never been unlocked?
And how can I fix my bricked moto e?
Could someone help me out on this please? :crying:

Are you following the steps as mentioned in this thread ?
Also you are getting signature failed error. In such cases, download the firmware again and check
Hi there,
Thank you for the reply. Sorry that it took so long to reply back.
I did what the above mentioned guideline tells for the first time.
And after I tried second time, finally my phone started working again!!
The first time with an older version stock firms, some file failed to be flashed.
So I used seemingly-newer-version-than-my-original-firmware the second time.
Even though "mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.5" was missing from the stock firmware, my phone was able to recover to the normal state.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I went to some shops that claim they can fix bricked phones but all of them said that motorola phones are difficult to fix. But I could fix it after second trial.

Read drs22's post above ! He's mentioned the link you can follow to fix this, follow the steps to the 'T' and ensure you download a more recent version of the ROM.

Samsung A5 2016 signature verification failed

Hi guys,
I have some issues here.
I have A5 that is stuck at Samsung loading screen.
I want to install new ROM.
If I boot in download mode abd failed to detect it although lsusb see it (I have linux).
If I boot in custom recovery menu and choose option apply update from SDcard, it says Signature Verification Failed.
There is no option to disable this verification in samsung menu.
Also if I choose update from adb, abd recognise it, buy the same issue with sideload: Signature verification failed.
What options remains here?
I want to close the thread.
Thanks

[RECOVERY] [UNOFFICIAL] TWRP for Lenovo K8 Note

Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) is an open-source software custom recovery image for Android-based devices. It provides a touchscreen-enabled interface that allows users to install third-party firmware and back up the current system, functions often unsupported by stock recovery images. It is, therefore, often installed when rooting Android devices, although it isn't dependent on a device being rooted to be installed.
DOWNLOAD
TWRP 3.2.3.0
Flashing Instructions
Make sure you have fastboot drivers installed and your bootloader is unlocked
Download the file
In fastboot open the directory of downloaded file and type
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img, after that type
fastboot oem reboot-recovery, You'll have a black screen on your display wait for 5-10s you'll be greeted with TWRP screen if you still didn't get the screen then press power button 2-3 times
BUGS
Data decryption ( For this you need to select Wipe -> format data (You'll lose all your data in this process) )
No Battery% ( I purposefully disabled it as the battery% always stays at 50% so I'll find the battery% path and fix this in the next build)
Flash force encrypt disabler in recovery to fix magisk module installation and other data partition related issues.

By reboot problem if you mean, the phone getting restarted randomly in loop then the only way to fix it is to go to the service center.
