KNOWN BUGS
- Attempting to copy an URL on Chrome, will cause the crash of Chrome itself. A workaround is to copy the URL without clicking on it, so it has to be not selected before you long press to copy. I know it's hard to explain, so I will post some images or maybe a little video later.
- On the first opening of the messages app, it asks if you want to enable Smart Messages. If you choose to not enable, then the app opens, with a little banner that tell you again if you want to try the Smart Messages feature. If you close this banner, then the app will begin to be unstable, crashing in a random way. So, avoid to close that banner.

HOW TO ENABLE DOLBY
I used the original LeEco Dolby Atmos from latest 28s ROM, which guarantees the best audio quality.
To enable it, download Quickshortcutmaker from Play Store, then go to Security App-->Permissions-->Permissions-->Quickshortcutmaker, and enable permission to create shortcuts on default screen. Then, open Quickshortcutmaker, search Dolby activity, and create a shortcut to it, so Dolby will appear on the home screen. Open it, and enable.
ABOUT LOCATION SERVICES
I deleted the default chinese location services, to use the google services instead. This means that, on the first boot, location services will not work, because it requires first to configure Google. So, after the initial setup, open Play Store to add the Google Account, and after finished configuration, reboot the phone to get location services working.
HINTS
- On messages app settings, disable the delivery status option, to avoid loss of credit on your SIM.
- If you have issues with notifications, try to:
add the app having issues to automatic startup, on Security app;
lock the app on recent apps window;
on Security app-->Battery-->App battery saver, select the app, and check "No restrictions";
on developer settings, disable memory optimization, and reboot.
if still having problems, download Root Push Notifications Fixer, and set to 5 minutes.

This is an initial version, tomorrow I will try to integrate the stock LeEco Camera from 28s, and the global LeEco Remote Control.

Very good you played early. I am glad that the MIUI rom will be followed by more people on XDA because it is in my opinion the best rom in terms of personalization, functions and stability. I had already tried this version in the original version, before going back for too many Chinese applications installed. I'm curious to try it waiting for the update to version 8.1.4.

I installed the current version and after deleting system, date, cache and dalvilk I find the system exactly as I had left it, installed applications, icon positions, even the theme remained the same. In the settings, however, is version 7.12.28 and I find myself magisk that I did not have. What may have happened? If I had done a dirty flash I would have understood, but I deleted everything from twrp.
I've encountered a problem in the security app that does not scan for viruses. I tried to update, and then to remove the application, to version 2.1.2 but the problem remains.
Ho installato la versione attuale e dopo aver cancellato system, data, cache e dalvilk mi ritrovo il sistema esattamente come lo avevo lasciato, applicazioni installate, posizione delle icone, perfino il tema è rimasto uguale. Nelle impostazioni però risulta la versione 7.12.28 e mi ritrovo magisk che non avevo. Cosa può essere successo? Se avessi fatto un dirty flash lo avrei capito, ma ho cancellato tutto da twrp. Ho riscontrato un problema nella app sicurezza che non effettua la scansione antivirus. Ho provato ad aggiornare, e poi a rimuovere l'applicazione, alla versione 2.1.2 ma il problema rimane.

Oh, really strange, if you full wipe, then everything has to be erased (excluding the internal storage).
Don't know what happened, I suggest you to reflash TWRP recovery, maybe is not working correctly.
For the antivirus, it was not working even in the original 7.12.28 ROM, I will test 8.1.4 version as quickly as possible.
Oh, veramente strano, se fai un full wipe, dovrebbe cancellarsi tutto (eccetto l'archivio interno).
Non saprei cosa sia successo, ti suggerisco di re-flashare la recovery TWRP, perché forse non funziona correttamente.
Per l'antivirus, non funzionava neppure nella ROM 7.12.28 originale, comunque, testerò la 8.1.4 il prima possibile.

1. Because the Market only keeps track of apps that were downloaded from the Market. Which is why we have the "install apps from unknown sources" option in settings.
2. Right, you have to check on your own for updates since the Market isn't keeping track.

Your purchases are tied to your phones Google account
As long as you set up your phone with the same account, your paid apps will appear in the "My Downloads" section of the market. You can redownload without having to pay again.
Some apps, eg Copilot, have a separate activation system. If you are downloading again because you have changed device, you may need to inform the vendor separately so that they can reactivate your software.

Based on the original Italian ROM, nothing added, nothing upgraded, only removed some things, like Copilot, RSSHub and resproxy to reduce memory usage.
PagePool is 24Mb (20 in the stock rom)

how did you remove copilot? i tried with oskitchen and turned off all "copilot" named modules in "ext" section.
it does not boot anymore fully to windows. error window says: \windows\copilot.wm6ppc.... not found.
[RESOLVED]: removed the line in config_AP.txt
....
to change language i think you have to take the english sources and cook with these???

I've removed the OEM Package "ConfigAP" to resolve that error.
For an English version, sorry but I haven't the time to build and test, so I will NEVER do it
For now I'm preparing another version with Opera upgraded to version 10 (default is 9.5), and mortscript, but I cannot test it until 30 MAR 2010, so I think I'll release it 3/4 APR 2010

ATTENTION! This forum has a rules: one of this is that we can only post in english, or at least in our mother language AND english.
To answer your question:
1 - make HSPL ( HardSPL kit for Mega Touch2 by jockyw2001 )
2 - copy the new ROM file on your SD, rename it in PT74IMG.nbh
3 - turn off device
4 - turn on device holding VOL-DOWN and follow the message on the screen
so, i proved 2day , but seems it in not working, afther reboot not charging the file nbh and screen is coloured with the four colurs and on the last white line is write " serial " thank you

Ok,yours English is worse than mine ( ) but I think you have a problem with the file name of the ROM: rename it to PB74IMG.nbh and put it in the root of your SD.
If this does not resolve the matters, I think you have problem with the HSPL, so you have to ask in the dedicated thred.

Ok, il tuo inglese è peggio del mio D ) ,ma penso che tu abbia problemi con il nome del file della rom: rinominalo in PB74IMG.nbh e mettilo nella root (radice, directory principale) della scheda di memoria.
Se con questo non risolvi, penso che tu abbia problemi con il HSPL, quindi devi chiedere nel topic dedicato.

I've used EasyVisual kitchen, search for it in the forum.
I've not used a "guide" only a lot of time reading various post, searching all the web for many single informations, and making tests

"The best" depends on what you need: for me is the optimization that you can read in the first post

9- comando reboot di fastboot (make a fastboot reboot)

16- Ho aggiunto uno script nella directory "system\etc\init.d", che permette di velocizzare notevolmente i tempi di risposta con le app più utilizzate dalla Rom (ad esempio il Launcher). Di default ho inserito solamente le apk di utilizzo "scontato", è possibile però personalizzare la lista delle app a proprio piacimento editando il suddetto file, sostituendo o aggiungendo fra le "" i nomi dei servizi delle app che vogliamo andare ad inserire. Lo script da editare con "root explorer" si chiama "97personalize_tweak". I nomi dei servizi li trovate nella directory "data\data". Lo script può essere editato tranquillamente dopo avere reinstallato la rom e tutte le vostre applicazioni. a friend like to buy it, since i get a very very cheap galaxy s2 from amazon i will sell him my streak.
my decision is because i think that if it happens it will take alot of time to get CM7/8 on the streak. i am hungry for ICS and i believe the S2 get it soon.
so have a good time and keep on. maybe i can get a used streak later to play around again.

It's easy to resolve, but since you installed several times this rom, it's better that you install my "MaxicetDroid1.0", without the need to flash amss.mbn.
Flash the zip file of rom only, then do a factory reset...

9- comando reboot di fastboot (make a fastboot reboot)
10- entrare di nuovo SUBITO in recovery fermandosi al menu' con le 4 scelte, scegliere la prima (FACTORY RESET) (keep attention, press vol+ and vol- keys as soon as you see logo DELL, then choose option 1 FACTORY RESET)
11- avviare lo Streak, scegliere preferibilmente ADW come scelta predefinita di launcher, l'altro l'ho messo per "sicurezza" (boot the system, choose preferably ADW, the other one is there only for security reasons)

16- Ho aggiunto uno script nella directory "system\etc\init.d", che permette di velocizzare notevolmente i tempi di risposta con le app più utilizzate dalla Rom (ad esempio il Launcher). Di default ho inserito solamente le apk di utilizzo "scontato", è possibile però personalizzare la lista delle app a proprio piacimento editando il suddetto file, sostituendo o aggiungendo fra le "" i nomi dei servizi delle app che vogliamo andare ad inserire. Lo script da editare con "root explorer" si chiama "97personalize_tweak". I nomi dei servizi li trovate nella directory "data\data". Lo script può essere editato tranquillamente dopo avere reinstallato la rom e tutte le vostre applicazioni. Per maggiori info vedi http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1205744(I added a script in "system\etc\init.d" directory, it's able to speed up response times with the most used app of the Rom (eg the Launcher). 18- Al primo avvio della rom dopo il factory reset, si avvierà il wizard di configurazione di "Magic Locker". Basterà seguire il wizard, deselezionare "menù" nei "settings", e il gioco è fatto. Ho aggiunto anche la schermata di blocco a "Puzzle", basta andare nell'app drawer e scegliere "Samsung Magic Locker", quindi "install". A questo punto tornare in "Magic Locker" settings, scegliere il lock "Samsung" e preferibilmente, il wallpaper default. Se non vi piace o preferite il lockscreen di default, basta disabilitarlo dalle sue impostazioni ....(At the first boot after the factory reset, it will start the configuration wizard "Magic Locker". Just follow the wizard, clear "menu" in "Settings", and you're done. I also added the lock screen "Samsung Puzzle", just go in App drawer and choose "Samsung Magic Locker", then "install". Now go back to "Magic Locker" settings, choose the Lock "Samsung Puzzle" and instead, the default wallpaper. If you don't like it, simply disable it in its settings)

I think you should change the name of your rom if you're gonna name it 2.5 as there's no actual 2.5 build.
Your prev two ones were just translations of 2.3 and 2.4 and that makes sense, but if you're gonna change the version number and make other changes to yours you should consider renaming your rom.

Simply open the app, reclose it, then restart launcher...now the app is in your language..

Ho riflettuto prima di inserire un nuovo thread con il nome 2.5, e credo che questo sia il nome più giusto...
Tu dici che le versioni precedenti erano "semplici traduzioni", in realtà non e' cosi...la rom 2.3b2 di fards non va' cosi bene come la mia 2.1. Quest'ultima infatti ha numerosi tweak, provati e riprovati fino ad ottimizzare il tutto, risolvendo alcuni problemi che prima erano presenti, velocizzando
Il sistema e rendendolo piu' stabile e affidabile, molto più della versione di fards. Solamente la 2.4rev.a e' una semplice traduzione, anche se inserendo tutti i tweaks provati e riprovati, ha migliorato anche quella. Nella 2.5 ho fatto delle piccole modifiche al kernel della 2.4, l'ho inserito nella mia 2.1, ho sperimentato con il file amss ore di ottimizzazioni, e ho modificato il tema....nel forum del dell streak c'e' chi ha fatto molto meno e ha spacciato il suo lavoro come "nuova rom", senza fare nomi....provatela prima di parlare senza cognizione di causa, questa E' una nuova rom....
TO UNDERSTAND USE GOOGLE TRANSLATE, YOU CAN FIND IT IN THE MARKET....

Audio distortion?? Did u install any equalization app or something else? Never had audio problem, I think that this kernel gives better audio listening experience, without the random scratches of earlier fards kernel...did u do factory reset?

About titanium, it's a knowed issue, you may have stability problems...

i'm a new user and i write from Italy.
I really appreciate your board, from which i've learned many useful things.
I just bought (well actually it was a present, anyway) an Olivetti Olipad 100, which is in fact a Malata Zpad T2, and i was looking for a good almost full-working Honeycomb ROM.
Already tried Flashback(the one that i'm using right now) and Gtabcombover, but the problem is that these roms are "born" for Gtab, which lacks a 3g modem, so this feature of my device is not working.
The only ROM i installed that guaranteed this was Adamcomb, anyway it's pretty unstable.
Could you help find the proper ROM for my tab or also to activate the 3g support on another rom?

We are stumped on this one.
As there are only "custom" ROMS for HC and ICS, most of which are WiFi;
it appears no one has approached this issue.

Already tried Flashback(the one that i'm using right now) and Gtabcombover, but the problem is that these roms are "born" for Gtab, which lacks a 3g modem, so this feature of my device is not working.
The only ROM i installed that guaranteed this was Adamcomb, anyway it's pretty unstable.
Could you help find the proper ROM for my tab or also to activate the 3g support on another rom?

Hi itbasix,
I'm currently using an olipad 100 with adamcomb 0.3 and ugo's kernel and I don't have any issue,everything works well
P.S I'm from Italy too

Ho provato adamcomb ma ogni tanto crashava e l`ultima volta non mi faveca accedere al mrket nemmeno (errore di comunicazione col server o una cosa del genere)

To correctly install Adamcomb I have followed this guide ht tp://olipad-honeycomb.blogspot.com/2011/09/guida-installare-honeycomb-nellolipad.html and used the adamcomb rom attached, maybe this is customized to be more stable on adamcomb, take a look at it
I used it but i got the issues i already told you (market not working, unstable 3g connection)

I've bought an OliPad 100 and I've tried several ROMs for the same reason, like these:
1.Cyanogenmod 7.0.3
2. Cyanogenmod 7.1.0.1
3. Gingerbred 2.8 (not working at all)
4. gtabcombover-3.4.2 (honeycomb)
In any case I'm not able to download many apps using the official market or from "Google Play". I mean like Maps, Skype, Facebook, Youtube, Waze (and so on).
Any news from you ?
Have you found something very interesting that is working fine ???

dear friends- adroid experts,
i have problem with my olipad100- froyo 2.2, even the tablet can be switched
on the applications stop suddently (tap and tap) therefore no longer can be
used. i am just wondering if i can get backup software or even upgrade
software (gingerbread?) that i can install by myself via desktop? as usually
if i have problem with olipad i can reset to factory setting. however the
current condition when i want to access the setting the tablet said the
application stop suddently, try again later, and force stop.
i already tried to reset by pressing the on/off button but seems not working this time.it pops adroid.process.media, adroid.process.acore stop working, force stop message.
finally thank you for your time, attention, help and looking forward to hear

:ciao a tutti, visto che questo modello ha avuto da noi i n Italia lo stesso successo del toshiba folio 100 in un, tanto vale scrivere come mangio....
Io ho provato varie rom, la più stabile che ho provato e una 4,2,1 Ada nozioni basata su cyanogrenmod 10.1, se a qualcuno interessa magari posso fornire dati più precisi.
Impraticabile funziona abbastanza bene in WiFi, in 3g non ho ancora provato, non funzionano sicuramente n:
Fotocamera
Incline. Eri per rotazione e automatica (uso un app per farlo)
La tastiera (uso anche qui un app perché faceva il matto)
Il volume mi sembra basso rispetto alla origine e distorto
Se vi va possiamo. Fare un i croci di esperienze. Fate. I sapere e scusate eventuali castronerie.. Un saluto a tutti e auguri in anticipo
