Flashtool 0.9.24.1 for Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact, XZ Premium - Sony Xperia XZ1 Questions & Answers

Hello today released a new version of the popular flashing program Flashtool 0.9.24.1 for Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact, XZ Premium
Did anyone try it?
It's functional?

On selecting FTF file of G8342, it was not detected.

0.9.24.2 flashed 47.1.A.12.34 fine for me

you dont need to unlock bootloader, just flash stock kernel via flash tool, I'm also searching for stock kernel, post here if you find it
hey can u give me the link for kernel.ftf file for xperia mini....
I am new here, but I think you can get the official kernel from here: [FIRMWARE][4.0.A.2.368][Mini][ST15i][Smultron] Official Firmware
It's a post with official firmware, as you can see.
Just download the .ftf file, and unpack "kernel.sin" from it.
I am looking for "FIRMWARE 4.0.2.A.0.58 Mini ST15i" , "FIRMWARE 4.0.2.A.0.42 Mini ST15i" and "FIRMWARE 4.0.2.A.0.62 Mini ST15i".
Where can I download FIRMWARE for Xperia mini ST15i?

I have the ftf file for Xperia SL
You can try to flash it on Xperia S!It will flash! But the processor clocks will remain to 1,5 ghz not 1,7 ghz like Xperia SL!In settings/about phone at the model number it will show LT26ii.But...that`s all...no 1,7 ghz processor! And also...the build number of the ftf file is .45 not .50 like Xperia S.Means that the Xperia SL firmware is older and much buggy than Xperia S firmware(6.1.A.2.50).In conclusion...is useless to flash Xperia SL firmware on Xperia S!
Just wantet to know in witch way they overclockt the cpu???????????
Or is it by hardware thing onboard??

You call me a liar?i will post the sl ftf file when i get home so you can try all by yourself.before you call someone a liar please check twice if it's true or not
first i don't call you a lier, that's what you are saying.
i said "I Doubt" not "He lies!!"
if you are 100% sure you have the right file, then ok

Here you go....the ftf file from Xperia SL
https://www.dropbox.com/s/nwm18v8s4imazk8/LT26ii_4.0.4_DE_6.1.A.2.45.ftf
Not to doubt yourself anymore
Try it...and convince yourself that the cpu clocks remain at 1.5Mhz
sorry but i just want to know
are there any different on SL and S as VL and V on connection
as the V uses 3G/2G and VL are LTE
so the SL is it like S with LTE?
if there`s no difference between software on xs and xsl and the chipset is the same! then what makes the sl go to 1,7ghz

man...use 7zip(free to install on web) to extract the files from the ftf file
after extraction you will see that the kernel is there!
if you want you can try to flash the kernel alone with fastboot
-fastboot flash boot kernel.sin
you will see that the cpu will remain @1,5mhz
the ftf file has only 392Mb because is "clean" without any unusefull stuff

I've been having the same issue, everybody posts ftf files for the i version.
I flashed one of those thai versions and worked well, except that the menu hard key is disabled for the main screen.
I guess it's back to ICS and wait...

Hello anyone can help?

Hello all
I have a prototype Sony xperia z4 Tablet with the firmware 28.0.A.7.24 lollipop 5.0.2
Has there been any update since this firmware?
Since this is a prototype would I be able to flash latest firmware?
Thanks
Regards
Probably not prototype phones only take special firmwares I'd be very careful if you decide to try to update

Yes you are right, so I am abit sceptical about upgrading.
What is the latest firmware for SPG771?
Cheers
