Did this get an answer???? That is one tiny bar, darn.

Move the phone closer to your face. There you go, now it's bigger.
Seriously, though - all Android status bars are pretty much identical in size. Either get a bigger phone, or new glasses.

Can I customize the height and font size of Title bar and Status bar?

I'm running AP5.0 Beta with 96dpi on my T-Mobile Ameo and i'm very satisfied with that resolution. Only the Title and Status Bar and the Soft-Keys are to tiny.
Is there a chance to change the hight and the font size? Perhaps by some registry keys?
Thanks in advance for your help!!!
Use "RealVGA 1.1" - download a package with smaller dpi.

you misunderstand him, he wants to keep his VGA 640X480 resolution, just with a bigger title and status bar, I also would like an answer to this !
There are registry settings for the title, status, and scroll bars. Search the net...

For scroll bars, yes, but for title bar and status bar, I doubt. There are reg keys for menu bar and popup menu fonts, but never seen for status and title bar. If somebody knows those keys, I would be surprised, cause many people were looking for them.

You are right, I was thinking about the title/command bar colors, not size. Scroll bar size (and its related arrow buttons) can be changed.

spaces between icons (notificationbar)

Hey guys!

[Q] How to remove clock from status bar

Is it possible to remove the clock from the status Bar?
Howto?
I use VillainRom or Cognition
Why would you do that ? I don't see a case where it's useful to hide the clock... Unless you have a ton of bull**** applications which makes tons of bull**** notifications
It's possible with CyanogenMod though.

Well, if you have a clock on your homescreen, everyone will laugh at you when they see you have 2 clocks visible on 1 screen since it's pretty retarded.
If he can turn off the satus bar clock he doesn't have to look retarded while using a homescreen clock.

Agree 100% - status bar clock is worthless IMO, delighted to be rid of it.
Revolution ROM also supports EDT tweaks/clock removal.

Thank you!
Just what I wanted.
Agree. But the EDT tweaks will still shows date and time on the slide down notification status bar which make it look very crumsy.
That's nice if your drop down menu has a non-transparant background.

make it look like this
<string name="quickpanel_ampm_position_formatter"></string>
save and recompile.

That black navigation bar

I can't be the only one who is annoyed by this - many apps have the navigation bar black at the bottom and the chin looks twice as big as it is. It's bugging the hell out of me and I was wondering if anybody knew how to change this so it matches the color of the app you're in.

I use Fluid N.G. to replace nav bar.. and I'm quite satisfy with that, while waiting EMUI 9 come out to P20 lite.. the app is available in playstore
Yes, Fluid N.G. is a very good app, I like it.
just go to settings, system, system navigation, there you can hide na navigation bar

Second notification bar?

I got the mate 20 pro yesterday. Mostly it's great but the limited space for notification icons drives me crazy. Is there any way to add a row to the notification area and effectively doubling the notification bar? I really don't mind taking away from the rest of the display.
You can find in the display settings an option to move the status bar below the notch.
In this way you'll get a full row available for the icons.
I don't think it's possible to create a second row in the status bar.

That app apparently has some limitations, like being able to see the second bar only when showing the desktop on the screen, not while using any other app.
Moreover it requires a particular live wallpaper to work.

Thanks but that just fills the status bar next to the notch, making it look like there's no notch - it doesn't move the notifications/add more space for notifications.
Hey guys! Anybody found a better way?
It's really annoying..

This isn't the case unfortunately.
All this does is blacken either side of the notch to hide it. The icons will still appear in the original positions either side of the notch.
