What's your battery life like? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions & Answers

Just wondering what percentage other people are getting.

I plug my device in every night after 21 to 24 hours of usage. On average I still have 40 to 50 percent left and 3 to 5 hours of SOT. I charge to 100% and unplug.

Estimated time remaining after a full charge

So, after a full charge and waiting around an hour on standby for the battery to settle, how long is your estimated time remaining? 18 hours? 1 day and 2 hours? How much?

17-19 here. BTW, the phone can only last around 12 hours max after mild use.
Right now I'm at 19% after 17hrs. That included text, web usage and downloading about 25 apps and 3 albums. My screen is on high with auto off.
On the standard Battery roughly 1d 12hours, on the EVO 3D battery 1d 18hours, Thats with battery saver off.

1. After about 3 - 5 cycles, the battery should be perfect.
2. Charging time is about 2.5 hrs or more.
-If you leave / off your phone while charging, then it should be full in about 2.5 hrs.
-If you are playing with the phone while charging, then it will take much longer
3. Average battery life is subjective and unpredictable, because it depends on so many factors.
- For me, my battery last for about 10 hrs of moderate - heavy usage (4 hrs of screen on time in average)
4. The fact that your battery lasted for 6 hrs after first use is normal. It's just your first sleep with your newly wedded wife.
Swyped from my Galaxy SII
Give it some days to fully settle and 4/5 cycles of fully charge/discharge and then the stats of you battery will be perfect (more or less).
I can get up to six and a half hours of screen usage, with a total of 15 hours of battery life

Battery Indicator Problem

When I charge my android to 100% the battery discharge so weird, it discharges from 100% to 85% the 1% takes 8 min and when it reaches 85% to 75% the 1% takes only 2 min and from 75% to 0% the 1% takes 3 min, so I think the battery indicator is the problem because the battery is good and still new I'm pretty sure about that, so can you help me with this problem and how to fix it.
Thanks.

Screen on time

It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the HTC U11 Life before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
So I know this is probably atypical, but as I've been on my phone a lot today, I thought I'd check my SoT when I hit 15% battery. I'm coming from an old Nexus 5, so I'm probably more easily impressed, but my phone has been on battery for ~12 hours with an estimated 2 hours of life left and a whopping ~6 hours 24 minutes of SoT. This is a heavy usage day for me, and if this is my battery expectation on a heavy day, I will never have a SoT issue with this phone.

Me too come from Nexus 5 and can only agree. I was a little concerned about the smallish battery, but it looks like it will be enough for my usage.
Right now i have:
last full charge 14h 3m
screen usage since full charge 4h 17m
and i have 53% battery left

Mate 10 Battery : Is this totally normal? I got 5hr30min of SOT from 100% - 3%

Regular Mate 10, ALP-L29 C636
when it comes to battery life, there isn't much of a "normal"
5.5 hrs of SOT is sufficient. it depends on what you are doing with the phone. anywhere from 4 to 9 hours has been reported. i average less than most because mine is on standby most of the time, so most of my battery is used while idle. on the flipside, it will sit for days without needing a charge.
