Dunno if it's possible to directly flash it by TWRP, but I'd suggest you to try this before flashing; take a nandroid backup, first of all. Now, using a root explorer, browse to /version/special_cust/BLN-L21/hw/eu/media (that's the path where i took bootanimation from, obviously if you're on another build variant you could find different model codes like BLL-L22, ecc. or just different paths) and move the zip into the media folder. Reboot and check if it works. If not, flash it by TWRP.
Edit - remember to change permissions to rw-r-r if moved to the folder with a file manager

[ROM] Stock OTA_T6_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_HTC_Europe_2.61.401.3-1.54.401.1_release ROM

Dears,
I've received the OTA_T6_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_HTC_Europe_2.61.401.3-1.54.401.1_release update, and integrated it with my ROM, and I backed it up via TWRP recovery (System/Boot)
if you want to try it , your MAX must be GSM ,it is fully functional, and stock /unrooted and without any modifications.
And it requires few simple step to install it :
1- download the file ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/r1yctvgu68jxomh/2014-03-26--18-11-42 KOT49H release-keys.zip )
2- Extract it
3- Put it in TWRP backup folder on your SDcard ( TWRP/BACKUP/FA3NK..../
4- Full wipe/ format system/ clear cache /
5- Restore
6- Enjoy!

It is rooted everything working but file doesn't change and I can't write anything on sdcard.

make a backup of your own rom.
check sd card
there is a folder... i think twrp
in there there will be a backup folder
in there, there will be another one... pretty cryptic ... for me its something like DHSFSFS01
in there there is your backup... you can delete it if you want or keep it
copy the folder of the rom from this thread to DHSFSFS01 or what its called on your phone...
now back in recovery you can restore both... your rom and the one you downloaded

That means the system partition is write protected.
You will need to edit the file and flash it in recovery for the changes to take.

Stuck in bootloop due to chainfire 3D(Lollipop)

Hello Guys! So here's the story I have the moto E(XT1022).Yesterday I installed chainfire 3D, then it tried to reboot but got stuck on the blue moto logo.My phone is rooted and and has lollipop 5.0.2 from the soak test.I have TWRP recovery[v2.7.2.0].So after this happening,I restored a previous backup but then it got stuck on starting apps...Then I did a factory reset,That didn't work as well,it too got stuck on starting apps. Then I tried doing this:
"Look for libGLESv1_CM.so and rename it to libGLESv1_CMcf.so"
But it didn't work and it gets stuck before the moto logo appears when the various globe pictures rotate and do stuff.
That is everything i have done and now I don't know what to do.
Please Help! Thanks.

If it is jrummy boot animations the backup file will be in sdcard/romtoolbox/bootanimations/. Boot into twrp and select mount. Make sure system is checked. Then go back to home and select advanced. Then file manager. Navigate to your backup boot animation and copy it to /system/media/. Then navigate to /system/media/ and select your file. Rename to bootanimation.zip. (if it is named something else) Then chmod. Type in 0644 and swipe. Then reboot and it should boot.

I can't figure out where it puts it by default but ot has the option to choose where to backup. That doesn't help us much, though but I have a couple of ideas.
1. Chmod 0644 the current animation installed in system/media. (Usually the permissions are the problem.)
If that doesn't work...
2. Delete bootanimation.zip from /system/media completely. This should let it boot and it will display the default built-in bootani. Which is just android with like a shine.
If that doesn't work...
3. I can give you a bootanimation that you can put in system/media to get it to boot.

also send me the boot animation i can try that
I understand. A lot of the time, it is an error in the desc.txt file inside the bootanimation. There is a way to code it to where it will repeat a certain part of the animation until the device boots, but on a lot of devices...including my tablet it will just hang and never boot.
We need to either delete bootanimation completely or try a different one. The only other possibility is dm-verity, but if your bootloader is unlocked that shouldn't be the problem.

Yes, as long as it isn't there in /system/media it will bypass it. If it is the desc.txt that is the problem the device should boot.

editing a rom zip before flashing it

hey guys hope u are doing fine , so lately there being this way to hide the system folder of a rom zip so u can't access the system/app or syste/priv-app so i really need to edit a rom like RN or lineageOS before flashing it , is there a way u can show me please ?
The /system folder is inside system.imgin the zip
Use 7zip to extract just that, mount the IMG with some kind of special program (windows doesn't recognise ext4 partitions) edit it, then put the IMG back in the same zip.
BTW, I came across a good tutorial on what you are trying to do some time ago. I don't remember if it was here, on XDA. Have you tried googling it?

Well, the way I see it, it's more work to modify the IMG than to use the recovery's file manager.
Also, an idea I had while typing the above, you can write a small script to automate the process. You can the run that script from the recovery's built-in shell.
I can help you with this.

Xiaomi Black shark system Ui stopped stuck blank screen

Hi guys, today I installed substratum and andromeda to my Xiaomi Black Shark device, applied pitch black substratum theme and rebooted my device. After reboot my device now stuck on blank screen "system ui stopped". Now fastboot and adb commands are not working because of unauthorized error (which I allowed before). :crying::crying::crying:
Only thing I can see is the reboot menu.
My devices only boots up fastboot and there is no recovery ( when I select boot to recovery, devices boots up normally and stuck at blank screen with system Ui stopped message)
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Solved problem. Did a Factory Reset via google find my device and started fresh.

You need FX file explorer - it can move files & folders without root. So you open /root directory & copy /system and /vendor folders to external, or internal sd. Pack it up & upload to any cloud drive you can)

In fx file explorer? Weird, i had many people who did that without any root.
Try making system & vendor folders on sdcard, open orignal ones & try copying folders with files to created ones, not every file would be copied, but this should work
This does not work without root. Not on the Black Shark nor on any other Android 8 Smartphone i reviewd before.
