As far as the G3 Prime (F460) has a different hardware, it will require the dev to work and test much
Building for F400, D85X, VS985, LS990 and G3DS is releatively is easy since they have nearly identical hardware
So I wouldn't ask and expect a build unless the dev has the device

Just enough time to speak to users who have had no response from you. You may have noticed that I have tried to provide some constructive responses as well. Remember that you kept your users (including MiA1 users) in the dark regarding many issues including blind building, so if you'd rather I refrain from assisting on your XDA threads just say the word. I have no issue with the quality or frequency of any of your builds, but I do feel compelled to inform users of the situation.

well am gona be closing most of my old threads any way so what ever

What is causing this Bluetooth issue if it isn't affecting all?

Would it be at all possible to revert the changes made to the bluetooth tree or would that be far too much work? This isnt a request, just more of a curiosity because I'm not too familiar with github, repos, and just building roms in general.

ahah I was just thinking about how much I want that to be the case. That being said whereas even as recently as 2 or 3 months ago RR was, for me, synonymous with lag and errors aplenty its now getting closer to y favorite ROM with every passing build. This unofficial one is the closest to the crown yet, since I use Bluetooth twice a decade haha

I was so looking forward rr based on nougat.
I took a nandroid, flashed and booted, then the surprise force encryption?!
Seriously, why? I read the op another 2 times still can't find any mention about encryption.
Now that was a bad surprise.
So just a heads up to all fellow rr flasher, the Rom forces encryption, be aware and back all your stuff up, best on a computer.
A lil late for me

I never thought you could even add more customization, but you did it. Seriously can't imagine lot more things to add - if any...
The Rom is smooth, fluid and so far no hiccups, can't tell about battery yet.
The new rr setting app is great, better overview and so much stuff to discover
Lots of beautiful wallpapers.

Believe this is a CM issue, but the volume button to control media volume instead of ringer setting doesn't work

This ROM is already being maintained officially by me,here's the announcement by previous maintainer https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70245286&postcount=202 and the build was also released yesterday https://plus.google.com/105204524578498398928/posts/DDU3CLBPRt7 i just didn't post it here yet since i finished the build at night and wasn't able to open the thread on xda,so @Carlos Arriaga please close this thread.

He didn't mention any tags like OFFICIAL. Can't be share his ROM? It's a lot of hard work to get and compile the ROM ! Can't he share his ROM? According to me asking him to close this thread is insulting his efforts to Redmi 2 development and discouraging him.

FIrst of all he did mention it as a WEEKLY(that is supposed to be official,weekly builds are released by some RR maintainers to some device's),there's no unofficial tag whatsoever,another thing what's wrong is the release of the build before it is released officially,since clearly mentioned on post by nick that i'll be needing some time to set up thing's when he said that i'll be taking over,and the problem with having two builds of same ROM build laying around is the confusion it creates within the user base,you never know which bug's will be reported where,what if the user's report the bugs faced by them on this build in RR g+(since our device is OFFICIAL after all) or my thread,not to mention since there will be no point in having two builds of the same ROM by two different people without any/none differences in the build.
Anyway i have reported the thread.

I too feel that two threads of the same ROM would create a lot of confusion. Personally I had my share of confusion when @nicknitewolf and @anandmore were providing unofficial builds of CM14 in its initial days. So if someone wishes to provide builds of a similar ROM but which they have compiled unofficially then I don't think that that would be bad unless they mention the unofficial status in the thread. And yes I opened this thread after reading "[WEEKLY]" and was quite surprised to see that it was not @s.sawrav who was maintaining it.

Sry I'm not taking any side but @Saketsawrav u r already maintainers of aicp,asopext,Due,aosip,etc. Give him a change ..I appreciate ur hardworks & support for redmi 2 but he deserves a chance ...this will speed up redmi2 development ...no hard feelings...here luv ur work ...we want RR as weekly if its official and sry I'm not judging it is good our redmi2 development.

I agree with you. Moreover, I think becoming the official device maintainer is a big responsibility, time-consuming and is a pride. They are responsibly to users and developers rom itself. So, we must respect the official maintainer and get a permission if you want to make a "same" thread.

Simple : use stock roms.
It's well known that Nougat / Oreo roms are not on par with stock in terms of battery life.

If we talk about battery life, then you're wrong : stock roms are just much better.
And why stock rom is terrible by the way ? Clean ROM (which I'm using) works just perfectly, with good performance.

This rom is currently stable but there is some bugs in it that we cant do anything about for now because they are Lineage OS related bugs
Video recording Dosent work (Lineage OS related bug)
But Using an app that got camera libs built into it like footej or camu is something else
So everything will work if u used one of them but for example cam corded wont work on telegram
But it would work on app that screenshots the view finder like Facebook messenger and Snapchat and instagram.
And those apps ain't open source so we cant use the libs in them to fix our camera
So for now if u need video recording u can use cam u or footej
Setting Up a New Screen Lock Force closes the SystemUI (Lineage OS related bug)
lockscreen just works fine, 'only' setting a new pin/pattern and first unlock takes time. so keep trying to set it up until it works then its gona unlock and work fine

yes but it got a gps issue that is preventing me from building O for it bez am getting alot of build issues

Old Nougat Builds on MEGA
I hope all works out here for you, now that the dust has settled.
While looking at your MEGA drive for new builds I spotted :
RR-N-v5.8.5-20180105-d855-Official.zip
As it is clearly marked "Official" I hadn't realised you were already designated as official maintainer for D855 Nougat back in January. I only mention it as I thought the final official RR Nougat build was
RR-N-v5.8.5-20171120-d855.zip.
A simple mis-labelling of the file ? Or were you building the official Nougat ROM back in January for fun, ready for taking over as official maintainer on 9th February ? I assume of course that no further work will be done on Nougat now.

When I try to flash zip I get error "Could not find META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary" in the ZIP file! Any ideas?
