Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

no such drops for me on nougat, not that it matters but still worth to mention that it's not a general issue with RR on nougat, worked flawlessly for me for many months with on or 2 SIMs in use.

Updated rom, if they are still on then go to settings and disable them.
This ROM got my phone stuck in a bootloop, it just stays stuck on the splash screen for a while and ends up rebooting. I did a clean flash, wiped system, data, cache and ART cache. I reinstalled another ROM (Pixel Experience), and it booted up just fine.

We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.

We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash! These builds are experimental and can contain Bugs (as listed above). Make sure to do backups.
Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our Discord server! There, you can connect with other Carbon users and our developers, and you can get quicker responses to your bug reports. The invite link is right below.
5) Please keep bugreports to this thread or Discord. Do NOT create a Jira ticket. This is still in early development so we don't accept any bugreports yet.

Navigation gestures / OP gestures are work in progress, you can expect them in future releases. FP is fine, its the animation that is slow, you can turn it down if you want in developer options, i will se if i can do something about it.

Thanks for the rom
One silly question, is it possible to have Pixel experience without including gapps?
Just because gapps(even Pico) slows down this phone so badly

Same on all pie ROMs for j5 2015 all models.
Known bug I don't know if anyone is working on it, I doubt it as it is not an important feature to give that much time to fix it

Ya I forgot Jens made a fix a while ago. Thanks for the correction :good:
Pros an efficient RAM management, I can open more apps without near full-usage (better than other PIE distros for J5lte), the oc does not heat the cell, well customizable UI. The internal memory usage is very good.
Cons Music Player? Audio FX? Radio? Light sensor does not really operate (as other PIE distros)
I've used Bootleggers, RR, and Viper. This distro is better when you consider the performance, but lags other items.
I still don't try Kraken.
Excuse my english

For playing music you can use Google Play Music app.
Audio FX isn't officially in Pixel Experience..
Radio - yes it doesn't work for now - but soon it will be fixed.
How different "Light sensor operate" in other pie roms?
Which items lags?

Heck yaaasssss!
I will give it a try...but before i do that...How can i take a backup? Last time i got errors while restoring with TWRP (can't restore data partition)
I am curently on stock oreo...
Edit:
I saw "SElinux permissive"
this makes me a hell of a lot more to try this! Very good...
Okay...installed, boot fine.
But i can't setup my device. It's getting stuck at searching for wifi network (couldn't find any). It doesn't connect to 4G newtorks as well.
I'm stuck at first time setup...
System UI also crashes.

I think testers didn't mentioned about system ui crash & network too. Because i already asked them about this like " any ui crashes in between android setup or system?" They said none all working great. You can check screenshots they sent those after everything settled. I recommend you to go with clean flash by wiping everything. If still doesn't work remove sim and setup your phone and insert sim. If still doesn't work get back to stock rom and boot your custom roms
everything is working for me accept volte and Bluetooth being bugged there were no system ui crashes for me try re flashing
Volte is not workin. Bluetooth has bug and frp gives some problem after clean flash.

Please add a option to stop screenshot making sound while clicking one its really distrubing sound. When were i take screen shot some red line some across whole screen for 2-3 sec and then disappear
Does it work on TA-1054?
SIM card is not found it says "Invalid Card" - help? I'm in the UK on network "Virgin".
Using for one day now, a lot more stable than the GSI versions of Android 10
But NFC and BT audio doesn't work at all, I can't listen to music both on SBC or on aptX
No aptX detected too, even a package from Magisk doesn't solve the issue
Later this day I'll play with vendors and boot images then
Any changelog for the new build which got uploaded on 10th dev? Is jio volte working with that build?

Bug reporting:

Nice ROM,thanks for porting it.
But in some cases (for example disconnect from a wi-fi AP ) it can't find any of them unless you turn off and turn on it
Beside that,it is a great ROM for daily usage.
Thanks!

So this is hands down the fastest ROM out, no lag issues it's sweet really, and ALL networking issues as far as I can see are solved especially the WiFi which honestly was becoming a pain. It's like I can't keep up with my swipes stuff is opening so fast. I just flashed from Evolution before that PE and a few others and this is it for me. Great job developers very nice clean fast ROM just what we expect, at some point ?
