Downgrade to marshmallow?

Is there any way to downgrade to marshmallow from nougat? For some reason it seems like Nougat doesn't let you flash anything (in twrp at least). I cant even transfer files without getting into a bootloop.
Have your tried flashing from your computer using adb? That's how i went from CM 14.1(Android 7.1) back to marshmallow.

it wouldn't work. CM14.1 works wih MM bootloader, while Official Nougat with... Nougat's one! (that refuses to boot MM).
Some have bricked it trying to downgrade... so, pay attention....

[Q] Which CM firmware is better cm13 or cm14.1?

hello guys , it might be a noobish question ,, but i should know this
if iam flashing a cm13 rom (RR 5.7.4 )
can i flash cm14.1 firmware instead of cm13 firmware , is that even right ?
nope
note that cm 13 are based on marshmallow while cm 14.1 based on nougat 7.1.x
if you insist to do so, some of the features won't be there, malfunctioning or even worse your phone will not boot
cm13 is for marshmallow, cm14 is for nougat. u can't flash nougat firmware on marshmallow rom and vice versa
thank you guys for clearing it

There's not much out there. Seems like the only Oreo ROM that works is the lineage 15.0 unofficial. He's also working on a 15.1 build but the sim card doesn't work yet.
There's no shortage of good 7.1.2 builds though.

Been using elixium OS for 3 weeks so far as daily driver. Very stable and fast, only problem I saw is that phone soft reboots after unplugging any otg device.

ps. Most mods don't work properly

Best stable rom for leeco lemax 2

hi to all, with this smartphone I first tried the lineage 14 but had problems with the sound that was very low. Now I have been using resurrection remix for several months. Also this rom presents frquenti problems.
I'm thinking of flashing again, could you tell me which is the best rom and the most stable for this phone?
Thanks in advance.
Greetings
After trying several Rom I ended up use Cuoco92 Rom runs fine and stable on my device
Tnx, with Cuoco92 have you a problem with mic volume or camera?
I was interested in trying AOSP Extended or EUI. Did you try them ?.
Indian ROM 19 is rock solid
But Indian ROM 19 is marshmellow? Is very old
Official Mokee 7.1.2 is very stable and has OTA every day. Just search for it on Google.

Need help regarding update from A16 to RUI firmware

Hello guys, I'm on A16 based Custom rom EvoX. But recently, there was an update for EvoX which is based on RUI firmware.
I'm looking for help regarding how to move from my current rom (EvoX A16 based rom) to EvoX based on RUI.
If anyone could guide me step by step on how to do it, it would be of great help. Thank you!
