Red Wolf Recovery is custom recovery based on TWRP source code however some things are working here slightly different then you might expected. The main objective of this project is to provide stable recovery with features which you have never seen before in a recovery and which have not been accepted for adding to the official source code of TWRP. This recovery is also first recovery on the world with password protection.

Really? Won't just flashing a recovery from a recovery create problems? What will happen just after flashing RedWolf from TWRP? Will I get directly redirected to RedWolf or will I have to reboot? Please tell me if this is risky. Using 2GB variant.

Yes If N960N is Exynos Variant.
Device is bootlooping now at the splashscreen, Can't access any modes, 3 Button combinations (Recovery nor Download).
Any Ideas mate ?
EDIT:1 - After a series of button combinations, Charger plug/unplugs - Managed to push it into download mode and flashed the stock rom again.
The TWRP TAR doesn't work, and if you have any other suggestions, let me know.

Can someone tell me how to update if I already installed it? The same procedure as for initial installation?
The already amazing recovery got an update! Thank you very much, will test soon
Wow... - is this really a fully working version of Orange Fox Recovery for surya/karna?
Including backup/restore?
In the description, I've seen no section like "currently not working".
nice thanks for your hard work

Has anyone had any experience with this ROM in the meantime,
especially referring to the latest ArrowOS?
It's pretty quiet in this forum here...

It doesn't seem to work with Android 11 installed, at least it can't decrypt the data partition so you can't do much with it, like backup or restore, or flash magisk. I understand that Android 11 prevents any custom recoveries from decrypting the data partition though, so it's not OrangeFox's fault.
got OrangeFox-R11-Unofficial-Beta-surya-10-01 installed and decryption works with old version cr droid

What's working?
Audio
Calls
Wifi
Hotspot
Mobile data
GPS
Bluetooth
Camera (both photos and video)
Sensors
Vibration
Others I have forgot
What isn't working?
Echo present in calls for the other side (no fix currently found)
Video recording with stock camera (fix known, will be implemented in next build)
Encryption and extended storage via SD (possible to fix, didn't have time to debug yet)
Stretched preview in camera, photos are fine (fix has more downsides than upsides)
How to install
Make sure you have latest bootloader and modem before installing this.
Make sure you are using the latest Twrp build. (the older ones will fail)
Make sure you have flashed the repartition script.
Download the Lineage build, optionally GApps and Magisk.
In Twrp format data. (Menu > Manage Partitions > Data > Format Data)
In Twrp wipe everything except SD and OTG.
Flash RR.
Optional: Flash GApps (rightafter).
Optional: Flash Magisk.
Reboot.
Generally it's ok to dirty flash, but if you encounter issues a clean flash should be the first thing on your mind.

Anybody that reported bugs or helped test various stuff, without every one of you Android 10 would never get so stable here

Maybe put [Treble] in the title as well, so you don't raise false hopes in others (like you did in me lol)

The rom download link? That works fine for me and automatically pops up the selection box asking where to save it (on PC anyway).
If it isn't working for you on your PC browser then either check your settings for downloads/file types, or try a different browser.
Saw the telegram group. So many roms. Thanks for the support!!

Can someone explain that to me? I don't quite follow the Treble even though I read around it, especially with this device

Treble just means it's a universal rom, made for several/many devices at once. It's not a rom specific to this device and chances are that some device functions aren't there.

Would that maybe mean this would support the SM-T285? I see in the subject is for the T585 which I think is the 10" version and the T285/T280 are the 7" of the Samsung A6 (2016)

I don't know, only the dev can tell you that
True, I thought maybe you had contributed to the project @Kostareka any idea?
I'm thinking it might work as the main components would be similarish, not sure what would happen though if I flashed and had to reverse.

This rom is not gsi it just needs vendor partition
@Kostareka I have locked this thread and removed download links, as a Telegram account was required to download the ROM. This is in violation of our Telegram Policy.
If you make the files available for the general public to download without requiring accounts or registration, I'll be happy to restore this thread.
