Any bug?

Hi!
Thanks for ROM - much better than Xiaomi's
Quick question though:
Is there way to remove Google Bar from home screen in default launcher?
Thanks!

And one more note so far:
I have H+ data plan (not LTE) and network indicator always shows 3G (my ZTE Axon was switching between 3G and H+ when active).

Hello... Is somebody here???
One more question:
Is it possible to change clock style on lock screen?
Thanks

Maybe not.

You can change Clock style via substratum theme engine themes. For your H+ problem, please force to use 3G in SIM cards settings
---------- Post added at 12:20 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:09 AM ----------
And for Google Bar: go to launcher settings (hold finger on desktop and click settings), go to "Desktop" section and disable "Use wide searchbar"

Thanks for reply!
I'm still using this ROM
Still trying to figure out how to change style of the clock on lockscreen, but it's ok.
Quick question though:
regardless of what launcher I use, there is DEAD touch zone around all edges of the screen, so I can't drag app icons from one screen to another...
When I enable Pointer Location on Developer option I can see X changing from 43.9 on left (not 0) to 681 on right. Do I have defective phone or there are hidden settings?
Thanks again!

On mine and WPM01 phones everything worked good so I am betting that your phone has hardware issue. Flash Xiaomi global stable rom via MiFlash and use your warranty

Hi @WPM01!
Could you make kernel and device tree source code available? Thank you!

note 5a prime
can it be used in note 5a prime. 3gb variant?

is this for prime or not... i have 3/32 version which is prime is this applicable for my unit... thanks

So far this room has gotten EVERYTHING right...... And it's really hard to get me to say that. I don't even care for our ATM. There's a lot of pills going on here not to mention this thing implied the features I like without being messy about it. To to it all off this is the first room I've used when I actually didn't need that many Google apps

Coolpad Note 3 Dottyfied xD
Enjoy
Need a good camera app in dotOS.
Post SS of camera interface please. Usually these ROMs like RR, madOS don't have good camera app. They just have basic photo capture option. If possible, make a better camera app with mirror selfie, beauty mode etc. (Like coolpad/samsung/redmi stock cameras) for dotOS.
I like the sound of it - dotOS
It looks really cool as well
The features are really awesome specially the themes and modding options present.
The best of which is that we can even change the theme for Setting (Light/Dark) cause i like dark but generally it's light
I really hope dotOS replaces my current madOS to become my daily driver

- Encryption/Decryption fails.
Your OS is very lovely and colourful. I will be awaiting more updates.
Thank you.
Used this Rom for 3 days and here are the bug's i found- 1.Facing weird Bug when ever music is played through music player after 30 sec the Screen goes off the music stops for 1 to 2 second's and then it starts but the volume of songs goes low (Flashed Dolby and Viper4Andriod).
2.Traffic Indicator is Missing. 3.Heats up's very fast if used for more than 30 to 40 min. 4.Sometime Finger Print not response.(It happens Rarely). 5.While using Facebook through app it gets Stop's or Hang's.
(Rest all is Good)
is it supports for coolpad note 3 lite
How to make calls using jio??

I'd installed the ROM on the night it was released and it's really stable
I liked it more than madOS
But there is a minor bug
The bug is that the power menu goes white/blank when we change the Settings theme to teal or any other theme other than default theme...
I hope it can be fixed though it isn't a major bug
Thanks for this awesome ROM and please keep updating it
Hope to get dotOS Oreo as well
USB OTG
Devs,
Greetings!
Thanks to you all for this amazing ROM. I switched from MadOS in no time.
However, any USB OTG pen-drive (I haven't tried other OTG devices) isn't getting detected in my device (it can be a hardware problem in my phone too; the pen-drive is working fine). So, how do I collect a logcat of this issue (if you need), because, if I connect the device to the laptop, I can't connect OTG device and reproduce the issue. So, will the logcat from the Android logcat apps work?
Please, let me know about this.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Hrishikesh Kokate.

Hey, Devs thanks for this ROM.
I am getting these problems in my phone(clean installed).
1. NO Gps signal:crying:, even in Engineering mode Location Based Service[/B] is grayed out.
2. Every time I click on "Unlock with fingerprint" option in setting it stops responding.
Can anyone help me why only I am facing these issues.

(screenshot links don't work btw)
I'm most curious how it performs and what's the battery life and if it'll outperform Dark Rom :fingers-crossed:
Nice!!
Welcome to our hammerhead.
Im gonna try it later, seems to be good
ROM runs buttery smooth! A perfect daily driver. Will test battery for few days.
Couldn't find a way to remove carrier label on lockscreen and adjust navbar height, also slide on statusbar for brightness is missing - would love to see that in the next update. A minor bug - cogwheel (settings) is missing when sliding once from statusbar. Can't make it appear with the build in option.
Keep up the great work!
This is one. I'm looking for best ever rom use before my hammy. Thanks.

Hi ,
Ther is a workaround for the viper issue.I have to install the SELINUX changer and busybox .Also the viper4andrd guiterhead has to be flashed via twrp at first itself and then make suitable changes. This helps as of now.Issue is SELinux becomes permissive. Some oreo roms like AOSIP has made sm changes that allows to run viper out of the box on SELINUX enforcing.
A new problem is noticed is after long sleep times the screen turns black wen u switch it on and faces some lag to swipe it open.remeber seeing it in some nougat roms wen they were first launched for nexus 5.

I was just about to report this bug.
When Substratum is installed - the battery QS tile disappears and when you attempt to edit QS - system UI crashes.
Enabling Force Theme Enable DOES NOT fix this issue!

What is a LogCat?
A "LogCat" is for debugging applications / Android system. When applications / Android crash the output the "explanation" for the crash, the Exception Stacktrace, to a Log. This log can be saved and help developers to fix the crash.
What is it supposed to do?
It will help to solve your questions, if your asked for a LogCat it is always useful.
How can I get a LogCat?
Prerequisites:
Code:
Linux, Windows or Mac
USB cable for your device
Android Device
Instructions:
Code:
Install your device driver for using adb. Everything you need will you find here
Download adb executable for your OS (Download: Windows | Linux | Mac). Paste it somewhere.
Connect your android device.
Verify if "Settings > Developer options > USB debugging" is checked, if not, simply check it.
Open a command prompt (windows) or terminal (linux / mac). How to do it: On Windows: windows + r > enter "cmd" (without quotes) > click enter | On Linux: You don't know how to open a terminal? LOL | On Mac: Type Terminal into Spotlight and open it
CD to the directory where the adb executable is located. On Windows: Go to the directory where you downloaded the adb executable, Shift+Right Click and select "Open Console" (or similar) | On Linux / Mac: Rightclick in the directory and select "Open Terminal here" (or simply CD into the directory)
Type in your cmd/terminal: adb devices to verify your device is properly connected.
If your device is properly selected, type in adb logcat to show the mighty and magic logcat aka stacktrace.
Reproduce your error (or whatever) on your device.
Right after, paste the whole cmd / terminal window into a paste-service like [url]http://pastebin.com/[/url] and send it to us.

So far so good. Almost 1 day since flash. Everything works that I can tell. BT, calls, MMS, SMS, camera and overall his ROM is very stable and smooth. Running with ElementalX kernel and trebuchet launcher.
Anyone experience system ui stopping on long press toggles or hit edit icon on quick settings?
Other than, great rom.

Yes I can confirm same thing happened to me as well. However I'm running a different kernel and an OMS theme.
Forgot to say, enable Force Theme to fix some bugs on Developer Options
Greetings
Nice thanks
FC when turning off camera shutter sound in extra, although turn if off in camera works.
Just wondering if this ROM is substratum compatible and magisk?

Nice! gonna flash magisk right away!
Wow! Love the rom. Thought my old Nexus was done for. Other roms I have tried would randomly reboot, this has been solid so far...thank you.
Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Looking for another rom and found this one. Im impressed
Thank you for this rom. I tried so many Oreo roms, phone never went to deep sleep, had random reboots, battery life was terrible. So glad I decided to try this.
I miss nothing from Oreo in fact. I don't see why anyone would want O over N at this point on the N6.
I'm wondering if we're gonna get a 8.1 update for DotOs?
